Whole Cake Chateau has become cake and is collapsing across the island. People trapped in the wreckage cry, "ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?!" "GIVE ME A HAND HERE!!" "I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!!" and "I'M GOING TO BE CRUSHED BY THE CAKE!!" The narration confirms, "THE CHATEAU BECAME A CAKE AND IS COLLAPSING!!!" Survivors buried in cream hear voices and shout, "I HEAR VOICES FROM OVER THERE TOO! PULL THEM OUT!" The commanders try to understand how the tea party became "THIS - CHOCOLAT!?" and ask, "THE STRAW HATS DID THIS!!?" One reports, "THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S AWFUL! BOTH THE WEDDING CEREMONY AND THE WEDDING CAKE ARE RUINED!" Another adds, "WE WERE PREVENTED FROM ASSASSINATING THE VINSMOKE FAMILY..." and "AND ON TOP OF THAT, BEGE BETRAYED US AND PLOTTED TO ASSASSINATE MAMA!!!"

The Charlotte family continues piecing together the escape. Compote, identified as "CHARLOTTE FAMILY ELDEST DAUGHTER COMPOTE," says, "EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS STILL A MYSTERY, HUH?" while another admits, "BUT THAT EXPLOSION..." Mont-d'Or fumes, "BEGE, YOU BASTARD...!!" and adds, "AND I EVEN THOUGHT HIGHLY OF YOUR ABILITY-NOIR!!" They decide that the explosion probably was not the work of Bege's group because "IF ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WERE UP ON THE ROOFTOP WITH US DID IT, THEY'D BE SUICIDAL!!" and "THE CHANCE OF THAT IS LOW." The real mystery lies elsewhere: "THE TRUTH IS, DURING THE TIME OF THE TEA PARTY... ALL METHODS OF COMMUNICATION TO THE HALL WERE CUT OFF-BON!!" Then the missing piece appears: "THAT'S...!! DURING THE TEA PARTY, THE SUN PIRATES WHO WERE BASED ON THE EASTERN BAY..." Pekoms erupts, "THAT'S RIGHT!! THOSE BASTARDS RAN AWAY-GAOH!! ALL OF THE FISHMAN PIRATES GATHERED THEIR BELONGINGS AND RAN!! ...WHAT EXACTLY WERE THEY..."

The Charlotte family realizes what Jinbe must have done. One asks, "JINBE, HE...!!" and another completes the thought: "LEFT AND JOINED THE STRAW HAT CREW!?" Someone answers, "THAT'S RIGHT... IT WAS PROBABLY FOR THAT REASON." They understand that Jinbe withdrew from the crew in front of Mama so that he could enter a fiery rage and signal his own crew to run; the note clarifies this was "T/N: BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY." They call it meticulous: "IT'S JUST LIKE JINBE TO THINK OF SUCH A METICULOUS PLAN..." A report comes in: "KATAKURI! OUR SQUADS HAVE HEADED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE STRAW HATS AND BEGE!!" Katakuri says, "GOOD... BRÛLÉE... COME WITH ME!!" because "A SEPARATE SQUAD IS ALREADY INVADING GERMA." Pudding insists, "WON'T YOU KILL THE STRAW HATS FOR ME!? THEY'RE UNFORGIVABLE!! THEY USED ME FOR ALL THOSE AWFUL THINGS... HHMMMMMPH!!" Katakuri answers simply, "OF COURSE, BROTHER!!"

Katakuri's focus sharpens on Luffy. Remembering Luffy's grin behind him, he says, "...THAT'S WHAT I PLAN TO DO... I WILL TAKE STRAW HAT LUFFY'S HEAD MYSELF...!!" He explains why: "I HAVE TO KILL HIM BEFORE HE BECOMES AN EXISTENCE... THAT WILL SERIOUSLY THREATEN MAMA." The pursuit suddenly has to pause when Smoothie notices something wrong. She says, "SMOOTHIE..." and then orders, "EVERYONE, GET AWAY FROM THE TOWN!!! GET AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!!!" Mont-d'Or asks, "WHAT'S THE MATTER, SISTER SMOOTHIE!?" and she shouts, "RUN AWAY, MONT-D'OR!!" The Charlotte family realizes the threat is not the escaping enemies but Big Mom herself. Someone asks, "WHAT IS IT, AT A TIME LIKE THIS..." and then stares in terror: "NO WAY... AT A TIME LIKE THIS...!?"

Big Mom's craving erupts. She screams, "CAAAAAAKK-KEEEEE!!!" and "WEEEEDD-DIIIINNNGG," smashing through the softened castle debris while her children panic. They identify it at once: "OH NO!! IT'S THE QUEEN'S EATING DISORDER!!!" and "SHE'S HAVING ANOTHER TANTRUM AGAIN SO SOON...!!" One remembers, "I JUST REMEMBERED THAT SHE COULDN'T EAT THE WEDDING CAKE, SINCE IT GOT DESTROYED!!" Opera warns, "...!! EVEN IF YOU'RE RECKLESS, YOU SHOULD'VE KNOWN NOT TO STAND UP TO HER!! NOBODY ELSE GET CLOSE TO HER!!" and asks, "DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU GOT YOUR LIFESPAN SUCKED OUT!?" The only known solution is food: "YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW THIS ALREADY!! THERE'S NO WAY TO STOP MAMA'S EATING DISORDER... UNLESS YOU BRING OUT THE FOOD SHE WANTS!!!" They need the head chef because "STREUSEN-SAMA IS..." and "WHERE'S THE HEAD CHEF?! HE'S THE ONLY PERSON ABLE TO REMAKE THE CAKE!!" but the answer is grim: "EVEN THOUGH HE SAVED EVERYONE'S LIFE... HE FAILED TO MAKE A GOOD LANDING HIMSELF!! IT'LL TAKE MORE THAN A FEW DAYS FOR HIM TO RECOVER...!!"

Perospero intervenes with a lie designed to redirect Big Mom's hunger. As she thrashes, he shouts, "MAMA!! THERE IS A WEDDING CAKE!!" Opera panics, "BROTHER PEROS!! STOP! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!" but Perospero continues: "THERE WAS A SPARE CAKE MADE, MAMA!!" Big Mom turns toward him, and he builds the lie carefully: "ONE THAT WAS MADE USING CAREFULLY SELECTED INGREDIENTS, TO THE POINT OF MAKING YOU DROOL... THE BEEEGEST WEDDING CAKE." He then gives the target: "WE WANTED MAMA TO EAT IT NO MATTER WHAT, BUT!! SHOCKINGLY, IT WAS STOLEN BY THE STRAW HAT CREW!! PERORIN~♪" The bottom of the page reveals the danger of the lie: the Straw Hats, still trying to escape, are heading toward the southwestern bay, exactly where Perospero has now pointed Big Mom.

Perospero calculates that Big Mom should still be able to hear him: "SHE SHOULD STILL BE ABLE TO HEAR TO SOME EXTENT!! IF SHE GOES AFTER THEM, IT'LL BE TWO-BIRDS-WITH ONE STONE!!" Big Mom repeats the bait, "WEDDING CAKE...!!" while her children watch in fear. Smoothie asks, "STEERING HER AWAY... IS IT POSSIBLE?" Perospero insists, "THAT'S RIGHT!! THEY HAVE IT!!!" Big Mom accepts the direction but not without threatening him. She roars, "IF YOU'RE LYING...!!! YOU'LL DEFINITELY PAY FOR IT WITH YOUR LIFESPAN...!!!" The word "SWIRL" marks her unstable fixation as she turns toward the supposed cake. Perospero smiles because the lie may save Totland, but if the Straw Hats do not produce cake, his own life becomes the price.

Big Mom launches after the imaginary wedding cake. Zeus carries her forward as she screams, "WEDDING CAAAAAKKKEEEEE!!!" and the cloud answers, "YES, MAMA!!" The sun homie watches her go with a long "ZEEEUUUSSS!!" Big Mom's face is wild with hunger, not strategy, and the destroyed town recedes behind her. The page shows the success of Perospero's redirection in the most dangerous form possible: Big Mom has stopped destroying the capital for the moment, but now the full force of her craving is aimed at the Straw Hats' escape route. The pursuit has become less organized, but far more catastrophic.

Perospero admits the cost of his lie as Big Mom disappears into pursuit. He says, "THIS IS BAD..." and explains, "I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO STEER HER AWAY, BUT..." The problem is simple: "EVEN IF SHE TAKES DOWN THE STRAW HATS, THERE'S NO CAKE!! WHEN SHE COMES BACK, IT'LL BE THE END OF ME...!!" Smoothie refuses to accept defeat: "...NO, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. THINK ABOUT IT, SMOOTHIE... EVEN WITH HEAD CHEF STREUSEN, HOW MANY DAYS DO YOU THINK IT TOOK TO MAKE THAT CAKE?" The ingredients were singular: "AND THERE ARE NO MORE OF THOSE 'MYTHICAL' INGREDIENTS THAT WE STOLE AND GATHERED FROM OTHER COUNTRIES!!" Another adds the theme: "FURTHERMORE, THE MOST TROUBLESOME THING... IS THAT MAMA DIDN'T EVEN GET TO EAT A SINGLE BITE OF THAT CAKE... PERORIN♪" The cake's meaning is named: "THE DELICIOUS CAKE THAT IS FILLED WITH MAMA'S FANTASIES THAT SHE DIDN'T GET TO EAT!!"

Perospero asks the impossible question: "THAT KIND OF THING... EXACTLY WHO FROM WHERE CAN MAKE IT!!?" Katakuri sees the consequences: "THIS IS BAD... AT THE VERY LEAST... THIS ISLAND WILL BE DESTROYED!! WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT IS 'UNKNOWN'...!!" A small voice offers, "SHALL I HELP YOU?" The answer arrives with Pudding, who declares, "THE WEDDING CAKE THIS TIME WILL BE A CHOCOLATE CHIFFON CAKE!!" She explains why this matters: "...AND SISTER CHIFFON IS AN EXPERT ON CHIFFON CAKES!!" and boasts, "IF IT'S THE TWO OF US, WE CAN MAKE THE CAKE!!" The crowd cries, "PUDDING!!!" and "AH, PUDDING-SAMA!!" Perospero immediately grasps the chance: "IF IT'S THE TASTE OF THE CHOCOLATE THAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT, I WON'T LOSE TO EVEN THE HEAD CHEF!!"

Pudding's plan creates suspicion and relief at the same time. Someone says, "REALLY, PUDDING!?" but objects, "BUT, RIGHT NOW, CHIFFON IS THE WIFE OF OUR ENEMY, BEGE!" Pudding answers with confidence: "OH, SHE'LL DEFINITELY LISTEN TO ME..." Then her darker face appears as she adds, "SHE APPEARED! IT'S EVIL PUDDING!!" and a terrified observer says, "HUH!? SOMEHOW, PUDDING-SAMA SEEMS... SO EVIL!!" Pudding gives the route: "...TRUTHFULLY, THE INGREDIENTS WE NEED THIS TIME ARE AT THE ENTRANCE OF OUR TERRITORY, IN CHOCOLAT TOWN ON CACAO ISLAND. FOR NOW, WE MUST GATHER THE INGREDIENTS THERE...!! AS FOR THE 'MYTHICAL INGREDIENTS', THERE ARE ACTUALLY SOME IN RESERVE." She tells Perospero, "BROTHER PEROS, AFTER MAMA DESTROYS THE STRAW HATS... DIRECT HER TO CHOCOLAT TOWN! I WILL SUBDUE HER!!" Perospero thanks her, "YOU REALLY SAVED US THERE, PUDDING!!" while she blushes over Sanji: "I, WHO WAS DISGRACED BY SANJI...!! WHAT... BEAUTIFUL EYES... IF SHE GETS RID OF THEM FOR ME... I WILL HAVE TO REWARD HER, AT LEAST..."

Elsewhere, Nami urges the Straw Hats forward: "HURRY, EVERYONE!! PURSUERS WILL BE COMING HERE SOON!!" The escape route forces them back into the Seducing Woods. Sanji asks, "...WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THESE WOODS AGAIN?" while Chopper wonders, "WILL WE BE ALL RIGHT?" Nami points ahead and shouts, "AH! WHAT'S THAT!?" The answer is Kingbaum, still alive and moving despite being cut apart. He insists, "I'M CUTE AND WEAK!" and says, "IT'S FINE, SINCE NAMI-SAN IS SO CUTE ♥" Sanji tells Brook, "DON'T TALK ALL HIGH AND MIGHTY WHILE RIDING ON JINBE'S BACK!!" Kingbaum explains his function: "CUTTING THROUGH HERE IS THE SHORTEST WAY OUT OF THE SEDUCING WOODS." The note clarifies his speech tic: "T/N: KING BAUM ENDS HIS SENTENCES WITH 'JYU', WHICH MEANS TREE." Nami asks, "ARE YOU ALL RIGHT, KIN-CHAN?" and he answers, "MY SEAMS HURT-JYU! LADY TREE. THEY WILL CLOSE UP VERY SOON~♥"

Luffy and Nami recognize Kingbaum with surprise: "AH." "KING BAUM! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Kingbaum, furious and wounded, replies, "REMEMBER THIS-JYUU!! YOU BASTARDS" and complains, "HUH? NAMI, DIDN'T LOLA'S VIVRE CARD GET TAKEN FROM YOU?" Nami explains, "YEAH, BUT ONLY ONE HALF OF IT. I CUT IT INTO TWO PIECES." That is enough because "SINCE HE'S THE MASTER OF THE SEDUCING WOODS, WE CAN CUT RIGHT THROUGH THE FOREST!" Kingbaum moves with a painful "OW OW OW OW...!!" and "KIN-CHAAAAN!!" while the group rides on him. Behind them, the enemy confirms the pursuit: "THE STRAW HATS ARE CONFIRMED TO BE UP AHEAD." Another shouts, "LOOK BEHIND US!! IT'S AN ENEMY!!" and the order follows: "COMMENCING PURSUIT!!"

The chapter closes with the chase converging from both sides. Big Mom, still riding Zeus, towers over Kingbaum and the Straw Hats while screaming, "CAAAKKEEEE!!!" and "HUUUUUUH!?" The soldiers behind them shout, "OUR TARGETS ARE JUST UP AHEAD!! TAKE THEM DOOOOWN!!" and cheer, "YEAAAH!!" Nami cries, "HURRY UP, KING BAUM!! IF THEY CATCH UP TO US..." while enemies threaten, "I'LL RIP YOUR STUFFED EYES OUT!!" and someone calls the threat "HOW CRUEL!" Big Mom's craving gets louder: "CAAAKKEEEE, HAND IT OVEEERRR!!!!" Luffy reacts with "BIG MOOOOM!!" A final warning comes from below: "THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE SKY!!" as a huge shape or object approaches overhead with "WEEEEDD-DIIINNGG....." The pursuit is no longer only behind them; the sky itself now carries another incoming threat.
