THE RED OGRE CRIED

Dorry, the giant with the long beard and helmet, looks down with a serious, intense expression, saying, "AFTER AN ENTIRE CENTURY..." Below him, Mr. 3 is shown with his mouth wide open in a silent, exaggerated laugh, his distinctive '3' shaped hair prominent. In the next panel, a heavy boot steps into a puddle of water, splashing it outward. In the bottom panel, Brogy, the giant with the horned helmet, smiles broadly, his teeth bared in a fierce grin as he declares, "THIS FIGHT... IS OVER...!"

A massive, dynamic splash page captures the climax of the giants' duel. Brogy swings his large axe down with tremendous force, striking Dorry squarely in the chest. A huge spray of dark blood erupts from the wound as the weapon connects, accompanied by massive, jagged sound effects dominating the panel. Brogy's eyes widen in sudden shock and realization, a jagged speech bubble containing "!!!!" appearing next to him as he sees the devastating impact of his strike.

Dark droplets of blood splatter through the air. Vivi, Usopp, and Luffy are shown in separate vertical panels, their faces frozen in absolute shock, sweat, and horror at the sight of the fatal blow. In a wide shot, Dorry's colossal body begins to fall backward, his arms limp, as blood continues to spray heavily from his chest wound. Brogy stands frozen in place, his axe still lowered from the strike. In the foreground, Luffy, Usopp, and Vivi watch helplessly from behind a large, pale rock structure, completely dwarfed by the scale of the giants.

Dorry's massive body crashes into the ground with a deafening "THUD!!", sending up a large cloud of dust and debris around him. Brogy's axe hits the earth heavily. A close-up shows Brogy's face, his eyes wide and trembling, sweat pouring down his face in disbelief at what he has just done. Dorry lies motionless on his back, blood pooling heavily from his mouth and chest. Overwhelmed by the realization, Brogy collapses to his knees, dropping his weapons with a loud crash, staring blankly ahead at his fallen friend.

Dorry lies bleeding on the ground. A voice, seemingly Dorry's, says, "THIS IS MERELY THE JUDGMENT OF THE WARRIOR GOD, ELBAF...! ALL IT MEANS, IS THAT I AM NOT BLESSED BY HIS DIVINE PROTECTION...!" Luffy, still pinned under the heavy rock, grits his teeth in frustration. He struggles against the weight, grunting "NGHH! NGHH!" as the rock shifts slightly with heavy thudding sounds. Usopp and Vivi watch him anxiously, calling out "LUFFY...!" and "LUFFY!?". Suddenly, Luffy throws his head back and unleashes a furious, roaring scream, his mouth wide open: "WHO WAS IT!?"

Luffy's enraged scream, "SHOW YOURSELF!!!", echoes powerfully across the dense jungle, startling a flock of birds into the sky. Deep in the jungle, Mr. 3 sits calmly, sipping from a teacup. He pauses, saying, "PFT. DID YOU HEAR SOMETHING JUST NOW?" Beside him, Miss Goldenweek, wearing a hat and holding a painter's palette, looks up and asks, "MR. 3?" Mr. 3 breaks into a wide, mocking grin and laughs, "FUHAHAHAHA! HOW ODD... I WONDER IF THERE'S SOME LOSER CRYING EVEN DEEP IN THIS THICK JUNGLE?"

Brogy stands silently over Dorry's fallen body, his back to the viewer. He begins to count, "73... THOUSAND..." A close-up shows Dorry's lifeless face. Brogy's face is then shown, tears streaming down his cheeks as he forces a painful, trembling smile. Heavy tears drop to the ground with a "plop" sound. He continues, "467 FIGHTS..." In a large panel, Brogy's face is contorted in absolute grief, crying heavily as he declares, "ONE WIN...!"

Brogy stands weeping, dropping his shield with a "THUD" and his sword with a "CLANG". Suddenly, mocking laughter rings out from behind him: "HAHAHAHA! FUHAHAHAHA!" Brogy turns his head, tears still falling, and angrily demands, "JUST WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW...!? WHO ARE YOU ANYWAYS!?" Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek step into view. Mr. 3, holding his teacup, smirks and says, "IT MUST BE NICE TO BE SUCH A SIMPLE DOLT THAT CRIES FROM BEING TOO HAPPY, MUSTN'T IT? WELL... I GUESS I SHOULD BE FIRST SAYING, 'GOOD WORK.'"

Mr. 3 introduces himself, adjusting his glasses: "I AM MR. 3... MY APOLOGIES FOR ONLY GIVING YOU MY CODE-NAME... I'M A SCULPTOR, YOU SEE. AND THIS HERE IS MY ASSISTANT MISS GOLDENWEEK, A REALIST PAINTER." Brogy looks back at them, confused. Mr. 3 continues, "FURTHERMORE, I MUST TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN ENTRAPPED BY ME...!" Brogy suddenly realizes he cannot move. He looks down in shock, exclaiming "!!? WHA! WHAT IS THIS...!?" as he finds his feet and lower legs completely encased in a thick, white, wax-like substance that binds him firmly to the ground.

Usopp looks determined, sweat on his face, as he declares, "I MAY NOT KNOW WHO WAS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE... BUT I'LL GO AND TAKE CARE OF HIM NO MATTER WHAT!" Vivi agrees, saying, "ALRIGHT, LUFFY... I'LL GO TOO!" Usopp turns to her, relieved, "GOOD! PLEASE COME ALONG! IT'LL BE QUITE REASSURING!" From under the rock, Luffy says, "THERE WON'T BE ANY NEED FOR THAT...!" Luffy suddenly looks up, noticing something approaching. His expression turns to pure anger as he shouts, "SO IT WAS YOU!" Vivi looks over her shoulder in shock, gasping "!!?".

Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine appear from the jungle, throwing Karoo, who is battered, bruised, and tied up, to the ground with a heavy thud. Mr. 5 says, "WE'LL RETURN THIS BACK TO YOU! HE WAS UTTERLY USELESS TO US..." Miss Valentine stands nearby and laughs, "KYAHAHAHA!" Vivi screams in horror, "CARUE!" Mr. 5 continues, "INDEED, THAT BIRD IS THE LEAST OF OUR CONCERNS...!" Usopp points at them, asking, "HEY, WHO ARE THESE GUYS!?" Vivi, furious, replies, "THEY'RE THE GUYS FROM THE PREVIOUS TOWN! HOW COULD YOU... CARUE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!"

Mr. 5 stands tall near Vivi, stating, "THE ONLY ONE WE DEEM AS A THREAT IS YOU, THE STRAWHAT BOY. SO IN ORDER TO SEPARATE THE PRINCESS AWAY FROM YOU, WE TRIED TO GET THIS BIRD TO CALL OUT FOR THE PRINCESS BUT..." Miss Valentine, standing over Karoo, laughs, "KYAHAHAHA! JUST LET OUT ONE LOUD CRY AND WE'LL LET YOU GO." Mr. 5 glares down, "COME ON, THEN... JUST CALL FOR YOUR MASTER. HE PROVED TO BE EXTREMELY STUBBORN...!" Mr. 5 kicks Karoo hard, demanding, "HURRY UP AND CALL HER THIS INSTANT! CALL THE PRINCESS!" Karoo remains stubbornly silent. Mr. 5 raises his foot again, "FINE, I'LL JUST HAVE TO FORCE YOU THEN!" Karoo vigorously shakes his head back and forth, refusing to make a sound.

Miss Valentine mocks Karoo, "KYAHAHAHA! WHAT A STUPID BIRD." Vivi cries out, "CARUE!" Mr. 5 says, "THIS BIRD'S OF NO USE TO US... BUT... NOW THAT THE STRAWHAT IS UNABLE TO MOVE, OPEN YOUR DAMN BILL, YOU STUPID BIRD!" Karoo continues to shake his head frantically. Usopp steps forward, drawing his slingshot, and yells, "WAS IT YOU WHO PUT THE BOMB IN THAT BARREL OF RUM!?" Miss Valentine glares at him, "WHY YOU..." Mr. 5 casually replies, "HM? YEAH, THAT WAS US. BUT WHO ARE YOU ANYWAYS?" Usopp realizes, "SO YOU'RE THE ONES WHO INTERFERED WITH THEIR DUEL...!" Miss Valentine says, "NO, BUT I'M SURE HE'S ONE OF THEIR CREWMATES. LET'S ELIMINATE HIM AS WELL." Mr. 5 asks, "WAS HE ONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THE LIST?"

Vivi fiercely draws her weapons, the Peacock Slashers, attached to wires. She shouts, "THE ONES WHO'LL BE ELIMINATED ARE YOU YOURSELVES!" Luffy, still trapped, grinds his teeth and yells, "WHY YOU... I'LL KICK ALL OF YOUR ASSES!" Miss Valentine laughs confidently, "KYAHAHAHA! JUST WHAT CHANCE DO YOU THINK YOU'LL STAND AGAINST US OFFICER AGENTS?" Mr. 5 smirks, "OH? SO YOU'D LIKE TO PLAY, MISS WEDNESDAY...?" Vivi charges forward, swinging her weapons in a wide arc. "TAKE THIS! PEACOCK SLASHER! CERTAIN KILL!"

As Vivi attacks, Mr. 5 stands unfazed. Usopp takes aim with his slingshot and fires, yelling, "GUNPOWDER STAR!" The projectile hits Mr. 5 directly, causing a large explosion. Usopp cheers, "ALRIGHT!" However, from within the smoke, Mr. 5's voice calls out, "FANCY NOSE..." Usopp looks shocked, gasping "!!?". As the smoke clears, Mr. 5 is revealed completely unharmed, seemingly having absorbed or eaten the explosion. Above them, Miss Valentine floats in the air, laughing, "KYAHAHAHA! WHAT A NICE EXPLOSIVE BLAST THIS IS TO RIDE ON!"

Floating high in the air, Miss Valentine positions herself directly above Usopp. She shouts, "CANNON!" and plummets downward at incredible speed. She crashes into the ground right next to Usopp with a massive impact, yelling, "10,000 KG PRESS!" The force of the blow creates a huge shockwave and crater, sending Usopp flying. Luffy watches in horror, screaming, "USOPP!" Miss Valentine stands up from the dust, laughing cruelly, "HOW PITIFUL! KYAHAHAHA!"

Mr. 5 swiftly kicks Vivi, sending her flying backward with a cry of "AGHH! AHHHH!" He tells her to "CALM DOWN..." Before she can recover, Mr. 5 grabs her tightly by the throat, lifting her slightly. She chokes, "UGH...!?" Mr. 5 states coldly, "WE WON'T BE KILLING YOU JUST YET...! WE'RE ONLY HERE TO CARRY YOU AWAY," while Miss Valentine stands nearby. Luffy watches helplessly, confused. Mr. 5 finishes his sentence, "ON MR. 3'S ORDERS, THAT IS..."

Mr. 5 explains, "THAT'S RIGHT. HE CAN FREELY CONTROL THE WAX THAT COMES FORTH FROM HIS BODY. A CANDLE-MAN." Vivi, struggling, realizes, "MR. 3...!? THE MAN WITH THE 'DORU DORU DEVIL FRUIT'... HE'S ON THIS ISLAND...!?" A small translator note reads: "tl note: doru comes from kyandoru which means candle in Japanese". The scene shifts back to Mr. 3. Brogy, still trapped in the wax, demands angrily, "DAMN YOU... JUST WHAT'RE YOU PLANNING TO DO...!?" Mr. 3 stands proudly in front of a massive, elaborate structure made of wax that resembles a giant cake with candles. He smirks and replies, "HM? YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I'M DOING? TO MAKE ART, CAN'T YOU SEE? I'M OBVIOUSLY PREPARING,"
