In a vast industrial corridor marked D3-19, Vergo faces the spotted-hood figure. The hooded one demands, "HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HEREI! VERGO...!!!!" and "HOW FAR YOU HAVE RISEN." Vergo replies calmly, "OH, I ONLY JUST ARRIVED..." and "I HEAR YOU ARE ONE OF THE ROYAL SHICHIBUKAI NOWADAYS..." The hooded figure presses, "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN...I!" and "WHAT HAVE I DONE TO HARM YOUR PEOPLEI!!" while panting (*PANT*... *PANT*...!!!). Vergo answers with a smirk, "IF YOU HAD ALREADY CAUSED US HARM, THEN YOU WOULD NOT BE LIVING RIGHT NOW. BUT YOU SHOULD LEARN THAT KEEPING SECRETS FROM ADULTS IS FRUITLESS. LAW, THE TRUTH ALWAYS COMES OUT." while the hooded one laughs "UFUFU" and a body lies motionless nearby.

Vergo suddenly strikes with brutal force. The spotted-hood figure is sent flying backward in a massive impact, screaming "NNGHHA AAAAAAHH HHHH!!!" as debris explodes around them. Vergo stands tall, remarking, "OH, YES... ONE THING I FORGOT TO SAY." Close-ups show Vergo's fist gripping and yanking a string attached to a cylindrical weapon. He warns, "WATCH YOUR MOUTH..." The spotted figure, now bloodied and glaring, retorts, "IT'S VERGO-SAN TO YOU." Vergo's silhouette is hurled violently through the air amid shattering panels and motion lines as the confrontation erupts into violence.

Meanwhile, outside the research facility, Luffy's team faces sudden chaos. Thick black liquid erupts violently across the snowy ground, forming massive bubbling shapes that surge upward. A G-5 marine in a jacket marked CAESAR is hurled through the air amid flying debris and bubbles. SFX explode with ぐチャ!! as the substance twists and crashes.
