Coliseum

Two women with long flowing hair react in shock, one shouting "WHAT HAPPENED, SISTER!I" while the other cries "SISTER!!!". In the next scene, one sister commands "TAKE THIS ROBE, SISTER...!!!" as another asks "WHY IS A MAN IN THIS COUNTRY...!!!I" and "WHO IS THAT...!I A MAN!!I!!!". A small figure labeled "..." stands in the distance. Below, a dark-haired woman sweats and says "MY BACK...!!!" while Luffy, wide-eyed and sweating, raises his hands defensively, replying "NO, NO... I JUST..." and "HE SAW...".

The two sisters stare in horror with wide eyes and sweat drops, one exclaiming "!!I". They declare "WE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN LET ANYONE SEE WHAT IS ON OUR BACKS...!!!". One sister recalls "I FEEL LIKE I'VE SEEN THAT SOMEWHERE BEFORE...". Luffy stands confused as the sisters prepare to attack. One shouts "EH!I NORO NORO!I" while the other yells "WHY!I I JUST SAW HER BACK...!!!" and "WELL THEN, YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO DIE." Luffy panics as a heart-shaped beam labeled "MERO MERO MELLOW"!!! is fired at him with the command "TAKE WHAT YOU SAW... TO YOUR GRAVE!!" Luffy cries "THAT...!!! WHY!!!I" and "WHO ARE YOU!I WHY!I".

Luffy struggles, arms raised, muttering "SLOWING..." and "DAMN, I'M SLOWING DOWN!! THE NORO NORO BEAM!I". The dark-haired woman looks on with a question mark. Luffy questions with "I". The heart-shaped "MERO MERO MELLOW"!!! beam strikes again. Luffy is hit, crying "UWAAA!" as the beam engulfs him with hearts and motion lines.

Luffy stares in wide-eyed confusion, sweat flying. He raises his hands defensively as heart-shaped smoke swirls around him. The next instant he is yanked backward by looping tendrils. In a wide shot, Boa Hancock stands with her back to the viewer while a second long-haired Kuja woman faces Luffy; large question marks hover above all three. Luffy shouts, "I DUNNO WHAT'S GOING ON, BUT I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE!!" and adds, "I JUST WANTED TO SEE SOMEONE IMPORTANT!!" Close-ups show the two snake sisters reacting in shock. One says, "HIS FEAR OF DEATH MUST BE OVERWHELMING HIS LUST." The other replies, "IT'S PATHETIC, BUT HE'S A LUCKY MAN....!!!" A third voice cries, "THERE'S NO WAY THAT'S POSSIBLE, SISTER!!" and continues, "YOUR BODY IS SO BEAUTIFUL THAT IT CHARMS MEN AND WOMEN, BOTH YOUNG AND OLD!!" Hancock herself yells, "WHY ISN'T HE TURNING TO STONE....!!I" and finishes, "HE SAW ME IN THE BATH... YET HIS HEART STILL ISN'T MOVED!I"

Hancock blows a kiss, hearts floating as she murmurs, "CHUU" and "YOU WON'T ESCAPE!!" In the background a massive building erupts; Luffy leaps from the roof while someone shouts, "HE JUMPED... FROM THIS HIGH UP!!" and "TAAAH!!" The attack is labeled "PISTOL KISS!!!" Luffy is struck mid-air, crying "UHH!!!" as impact lines and the onomatopoeia "ドキドキ" and "ズバァァァ!!" explode around him. Below, Kuja warriors react in panic: "AN INTRUDER!! IT'S THAT MAN!!" "CAPTURE HIM!!" "KUJA PIRATES!!" One woman gasps, "A MANI WHY IS A MAN HERE!I" Another answers, "Y... YES!!" Luffy, close-up, thinks, "WHAT!I THAT WASN'T A BULLET!I"

Inside a vast coliseum, Luffy is bound by massive snake coils while the crowd cheers. Bubbles read "LADY MARI-GOLD~" "LADY SANDER-SONIA~" and "KYAAA~! LADY HEBIHIME~!" The snakes hiss "SHAA SHAA" as Luffy struggles, yelling, "WHAT'S WITH THESE SNAKES!I THEY'RE LIKE STEEL ROPES!!" and "DAMN!! THEY GOT ME!!" A narrator bubble states, "THERE REALLY ISN'T A SINGLE MALE HERE." Luffy wonders, "... WHAT'S THIS COUNTRYI" In the stands, Hancock and a pink-haired woman watch; the woman says, "I HOPE THEY DON'T ASK HIM HOW HE GOT HERE..." and "WE'RE TOO LATE..." while another voice murmurs, "HE'S GOING TO BE KILLED..."

Hancock, seated on her snake, glares down at the bound Luffy and demands, "WHY AND HOW DID YOU COME TO THIS ISLAND....!!I" and "NOW I'M ASKING YOU, 'MAN'....!!!" Luffy protests, "YOU LIAR!! I WON'T BE FOOLED BY SUCH A RIDICULOUS STORY...." and insists, "I WAS HERE!!" He explains, "I'M TELLING YOU, I DON'T REALLY KNOW EITHER. JUST A LITTLE WHILE AGO, I WAS FLYING THROUGH THE SKY... AND WHEN I CAME TO," while the snake hisses around him. Hancock's attendants shout, "... DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE LEAVING HERE ALIVE!" "YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE YOUR DEATH....!!!" and "...!!! DID YOU HEAR HOW HE SPOKE TO LADY HEBIHIME!I" Luffy continues desperately, "THERE'S SOMEPLACE THAT I NEED TO GET TO, FAST!! IF IT'S SOMETHING I WANT, THEN I JUST NEED A BOAT!! I'D REALLY LIKE TO GET A RIDE OUT OF HERE....!!!" and "IF YOU'RE THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON HERE, THEN I'M BEGGING YOU!!! I NEED YOU TO GO OUT TO THE SEA!!"

Margaret pleads desperately, "PLEASE WAIT!! LADY HEBIHIME!!" while a crowd watches in shock. Boa Hancock stands with a stern expression, a sweat drop visible. Multiple voices from the onlookers debate the bound man: "I truly don't believe he means to bring harm to our country!!" "He really means everything that he says...!!!" "Doesn't seem like the kind of person who would lie!!" "...TH-THIS MAN..." "MARGARET!!" Margaret insists, "OH, YOU!! THAT'S RIGHT, THANKS FOR SPEAKING UP FOR ME!!" She then takes responsibility: "...I FEEL RESPONSIBLE...!! I WAS THE ONE WHO ALLOWED THIS MAN TO ENTER OUR COUNTRY. THE MOMENT THAT MAN ENTERED OUR COUNTRY, WHERE MEN ARE FORBIDDEN, HIS DEATH WAS CERTAIN. WHY DO YOU STAND UP FOR HIMI" Margaret declares, "I AM CALLED MARGARET. YOU'RE ONE OF THE GUARDIAN WARRIORSI"

Sweet Pea and Aphelandra shout, "THAT'S RIGHT!! WE FOUND THIS MAN IN THE FOREST, COVERED WITH MUSH-ROOMS!! WE THOUGHT HE WAS FROM THE VILLAGE, SO WE JUST TOOK HIM BACK WITH US...!!!" Hancock reacts with fury, "LADY HEBIHIME!! TH... THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT!!" Margaret cries out, "MAR-GARET...! WHY!I" Luffy, still bound, grins and says, "WEREN'T YOU GUYS TRYING TO KILL ME A LITTLE WHILE AGOI" Sweet Pea defends him: "STOP IT, YOU TWO! I WAS THE ONE WHO SAID TO BRING HIM BACK TO THE VILLAGE!! IF YOU'RE GOING TO PUNISH HER, THEN WE'RE RESPONSIBLE AS WELL!!" Luffy laughs, "JEEZ, YOU TURNED OUT TO BE NICE PEOPLE AFTER ALL, SHISHISHISHI!!" In the background, a woman remarks, "IF THEY SAY THAT, THEN..." while another notes, "YOU'RE TOO HONEST, MARGARET! ZAHAHAHA!"

Hancock tells Margaret, "RAISE YOUR HEAD... YOU'RE VERY HONEST, MARGARET..." Margaret protests, "THAT'S ENOUGH...!! MAR-GARET!! I WAS THE ONLY WHO BROUGHT THE MAN HERE!!!" Hancock forms a heart with her hands and shouts, "MERO MERO MELLOW"!!!" The attack launches with a dramatic "AH!" and impact effects. Margaret, Sweet Pea, and Aphelandra are struck and begin to turn to stone, their expressions freezing in shock. The large panel shows the three women petrified in grotesque poses while Luffy stares in horror from the ground. Sound effects echo: "カチーーーン!!!" and "ン!!!" as the petrification completes.

The petrified Sweet Pea, Margaret, and Aphelandra stand frozen. Luffy yells, "TALK TO ME!!" and panics, "EH!I HEY, WHAT!I WHAT'S WRONG, YOU GUYSI!I!" The warriors realize, "...THEY TURNED TO STONE...!!!" "WHAT HAPPENED!!!I" "...HOW COULD THIS HAVE HAPPENED...!!!I" Luffy demands answers from Hancock: "WHY...I" She replies coldly, "FOR SAVING YOU. THIS IS THEIR PUNISHMENT." Luffy roars, "WAIT!! HEY YOU!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM!!!I I OWE MY LIFE TO THEM!!! BRING OUT BACURA!!!"

Boa Hancock stares down with cold authority. "FIGHT WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, DIE A NOBLE DEATH... WE WILL WATCH YOU TO THE END," she declares. "THIS IS THE COUNTRY OF WARRIORS, AMAZON LILY, WHERE STRENGTH IS BEAUTY..." In the arena below, the massive black panther Bacura lunges at Luffy. "GURURURURU!!" it roars as its jaws snap. Narration explains that Bacura, once a carnivorous executioner, leaves not even bones. Luffy dodges amid the snakes while the crowd shouts: "AH! THE SNAKES LEFT!" "SHURURU!!" Kuja women cheer, "BACURA!!" "YOU'RE PRETTY CHEEKY FOR SOMEONE SO WEAK, "MAN"!!" "GET HIM, BACURA!!" "DON'T TALK BACK TO LADY HEBIHIME!!" Luffy glares back furiously as one warrior asks, "WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO THEM!! WILL YOU RETURN THEM TO NORMAL!I"

Luffy stands firm as Bacura charges with a massive "GARU-RURU-RUUU!!!" The beast lunges, jaws wide. Luffy counters with a powerful kick that sends Bacura flying in a huge impact, "GYABUUU!!!" The panther crashes violently. Onlookers react in shock with wide eyes and open mouths. Luffy's intense glare follows as the dust settles.

Bacura is hurled across the coliseum in a massive explosion of debris. Hancock watches silently from above, sweat on her cheek. The Kuja women stare in disbelief: "...I" "... THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU....!" "HE DIDN'T USE HAKI!" "HE'S STRONG....!!! BACURA WAS... BEATEN WITH ONE ATTACKI!" They realize the attacker used only brute strength. Luffy's face fills the panel in fury, shouting, "HOW COULD YOU ALL SIT THERE LAUGHING LIKE IDIOTS!!I" while pointing accusingly. "WHILE SHE WAS TURNING YOUR FRIENDS TO STONE..."

The crowd continues arguing among themselves: "THEY WERE WRONG FOR BREAKING OUR COUNTRY'S LAWS!!!" "WE FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE THREE, BUT THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT LADY HEBIHIME DID!!" "WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLY BARBARIC CREATURE!!" "THAT SAVAGE IS YELLING AT US!!" Hancock stands calmly, hand to her cheek, declaring, "I'm beautiful!!!" and "Yes, it's because..." She adds, "NO MATTER WHAT I DO... AND THAT IS BECAUSE... I WILL BE FORGIVEN....!" The audience erupts in adoration, hearts floating everywhere as they cry, "LADY HEBIHIME!" "KYAAAA!" Luffy stands with his back turned, visibly tense.

Luffy glares forward with intense fury, shouting, "GOD, YOU PISS ME OFF!!!" as sweat and impact lines surround him. Nearby, Boa Hancock reacts with shock, hands clasped near her face, exclaiming "!!I" while tears form. The scene shifts to the transformed Boa sisters in their massive snake forms. Sandersonia cries out, "SISTER!!I HANG IN THERE!!" as Marigold lies injured. Hancock screams, "HURRY UP AND EXECUTE HIM!!! HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO LADY HEBIHIME LIKE THAT...!!!" Luffy stands with his back to the viewer in the arena. Hancock clutches her face in distress, declaring, "...THAT MAN'S VERY EXISTENCE... I CAN'T STAND IT!!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE... THERE SHOULDN'T BE A MAN ALIVE WHO WON'T BE MY PLAYTHING..."

The crowd erupts with cries of "DEATH!!" and "Go!!" as the arena gates loom. Sandersonia and Marigold loom over Luffy in their hybrid snake forms. Sandersonia yells, "SANDERSONIA!! TAKE THAT MAN'S HEAD!!!" while Marigold shouts, "MARI-GOLD!!" Luffy stands firm between them. One sister says, "LEAVE IT TO US, SISTER..." The panel focuses on their snake-like lower bodies and laughing faces with sound effects "GUGUGUGUGU..." and "ZOWAWAWAWA..."

Spectators shout, "HERE IT IS!! THE GORGON'S CURSE!!" and "SO THEY'RE FRUIT USERS...!!!" Luffy reacts with surprise, "....!!!" The younger Gorgon sisters begin their "Dance of Saragi" in full snake forms, coiling around the arena with massive tails. The crowd continues chanting "DEATH!!" as the enormous serpentine bodies surge forward. Luffy stands his ground facing the transformed sisters. Large sound effect "ドドドドーン!!!" shakes the page.
