Luffy vs Mihawk

Mihawk and Luffy face each other in close-up. Luffy, battered and sweating, shouts with fierce determination, "I'M HERE TO SAVE ACE!!! THIS IS NO TIME FOR ME TO BE FIGHTING A GUY AS STRONG AS THAT!!!" Mihawk glares back coldly. Luffy is hurled backward amid the impact, crying out "UNGH...!" while background fighters are scattered by the clash. Sound effects emphasize the crushing blow.

The fierce exchange continues. Luffy is sent flying by Mihawk's strike, his body twisting violently through the air with impact lines and debris. Mihawk's voice declares, "YOU REMAIN WITHIN MY RANGE." Luffy reacts with shock, "!!!" and grunts "UNGH...!" as the powerful slash connects. The ground erupts in a massive explosion of dust and rubble. Luffy's leg is visible amid the chaos as he struggles against the overwhelming force.

Mihawk's blade descends in a devastating slash. Luffy is struck hard, blood spraying as he cries out in pain, "U... UGH... HE CUT ME...!!" and "AAG-HHH!!!" Mihawk stands firm amid the destruction. In the background, allied pirates including a large warrior with a spiked club and a long-haired fighter shout encouragement: "WE ONCE FACED YOU IN BATTLE! BUT WE ARE NEWKAMAS NOW, FAR STRONGER THAN WE ONCE WERE!!! HAWKEYE! DO YOU REMEMBER US!!!I" Luffy, still reeling, hears "OUT OF THE WAY, STRAW-HAT!! WE'LL STOP HIM FOR YOU!!!" as the allies charge forward to intercept.

The strike sends shockwaves through the air as Luffy narrowly evades with a desperate "JET" "GOMU GOMU..." "BAR!!" extension of his rubber limbs. Crocodile watches from the side, sweat flying, thinking, "IF I'D STUCK MY ARM OUT... IT WOULD'VE BEEN SLICED OFF!!" He notes Mihawk's demeanor with "UNUSUALLY CALM... YOU SEEM" while Luffy grits his teeth, reacting with "HAA... THAT WAS CLOSE...!!! JUST NOW..." A massive impact erupts as debris and force lines fill the panel.

A colossal glacier crashes down with a thunderous "ドゴォォォォォォォ!!!" and "ガラァァァ...!!!" splitting the battlefield. Mihawk stands atop the falling ice, cloak billowing, while Crocodile and other pirates scramble below. Buggy's crew and allies react in panic with "AH H!!!" and "EHI" as the glacier collapses into the sea, sending massive waves and debris everywhere. A wide shot reveals the chaotic Marineford battlefield filled with sinking ships and fighting figures.

Crocodile confronts Mihawk mid-air, retorting, "HOW ARROGANT OF YOU TO CONSIDER YOURSELF ON MY LEVEL. DID YOU PERHAPS MEAN TO SAY 'MAKE ME YOUR SUBORDINATE'I" Mihawk replies with "..." as Crocodile presses, "JOIN FORCES WITH YOU...!I!I" Doflamingo appears with a wide grin, taunting, "FUFFU-FUFFU!! AND THERE I WAS THINKING YOU MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN A BIT MORE REASONABLE..." before unleashing "SABLES"!! Crocodile snarls back, "YOU DAMNED FLAMINGO!!!" as the sand whip lashes out violently.

Buggy yells in alarm, "YOU'RE GETTING CAUGHT UP IN OTHER PEOPLE'S BATTLES NOW!II" as Luffy stretches with "GOMU GOMU..." and cries "AAAAGH-HHHHHH-HHHH!!!" Crocodile and Mihawk continue their clash nearby. Buggy's subordinate shouts "CAPTAIN BUGGY!!" while Luffy is warned, "YOU ARE MOVING FARTHER AND FARTHER FROM YOUR BROTHER!!!" The chaotic melee swirls with impact lines, flying figures, and desperate cries of "DAMMIT...!!!" and "HAA HAA!!!"

Luffy launches a desperate aerial assault with his stretched limbs, shouting "JET SUBSTITUTE"!!! as he twists through the air. The massive opponent counters violently, sending Luffy reeling with a crushing blow while Luffy screams "AAAA-GHHHH-HHHH!!!". In the next instant Luffy reforms using "GOMU GOMU 'SUBSTITUTE'!!!", dodging the follow-up slash. The giant pirate roars "STOP DOING THAT ALREADY!!!" as Luffy realizes the truth: "WHAT!I IT WAS HIM THAT CUT YOU, NOT ME!". Luffy then hurls a spinning projectile, yelling "THAT'LL BLAST YOU AWAY!!! TAKE THIS... 'SPECIAL MUGGY BALL'!!!" The giant is blasted back but remains standing. Luffy glares furiously and demands "YOU... YOU'RE HAWKEYE, RIGHT!I" before bellowing "UNFORGIVABLE!!!" with tears and rage.

A massive black explosion erupts across the battlefield as Buggy is sent flying, screaming "AAAAAGH-HHHH-HHHH!!!" while distant voices cry "CAPTAIN BUGGY!I". Mihawk stands calmly in the distance. Luffy, saved by the blast, shouts "THANKS, BUGGY!! I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!" as the smoke clears. Mihawk draws his blade and declares "THIS IS FAR FROM OVER." In the chaos, Vista suddenly appears, crossing swords with Mihawk and shouting "VISTA!!! LEND HIM A HAND!!" and "ROGER THAT!" while yelling "LEAVE IT TO ME!!" as their blades clash with heavy impact lines.

Narration boxes set the scene: "A number of shocking truths have come to light. As the execution draws ever closer... And the notorious prisoners making their sudden appearance on the battlefield... A massive breakout of over two hundred convicts from the impenetrable gaol of Impel Down... The people of the world can only hold their breath and watch as the course of their future is decided here. A true ultimate battle set to change the course of history!! The spectacle that unfolds hardly appears to be of this world..." The wide view shows the Marineford plaza packed with ships, the execution platform looming, and chaotic fighting below as the war reaches a fever pitch.

At Marineford, the Marines announce that fleet preparations are complete. A voice confirms, "FLEET ADMIRAL! THE PREPARATIONS ARE COMPLETE." Another replies, "INCLUDING THE OPERATION ON THE BAY SHOREI" and "INDEED. EVERYTHING." The crowd reacts in shock as the execution platform looms. Civilians and pirates yell, "WHAT DO THEY MEAN TO DO TO ACE!I IT'S NOT TIME FOR THE EXECUTION YET!!!" Marines discuss, "WHY, OF ALL THE... IT LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE MAKING PREPARATIONS FOR THE EXECUTION!" and "HMI" A Marine captain warns, "THE TRAGEDY THAT IS ABOUT TO OCCUR WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR THE CITIZENS OF THE WORLD TO TAKE IN." Another adds, "IT WOULD BE TROUBLESOME TO HAVE THE WORLD LOSE FAITH IN US. CUT THE DENDEN MUSHI VISUALS!!" A stern Marine states, "THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD TO LEARN OF WHAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN HERE." The crowd panics, "ARE THEY GOING TO BEGIN RIGHT NOW!!I THEY CAN'T... THERE'S STILL PLENTY OF TIME LEFT UNTIL THE ANNOUNCED TIME!"

Luffy stares in horror from the battlefield as the announcement echoes. He screams, "A~~~CE~~~!!!" A voice explains, "WHEN THE WORLD LEARNS OF THE OUTCOME... IN A FEW HOURS' TIME..." Someone shouts, "THEY REALLY ARE GOING TO EXECUTE ACE EARLY!!" On the bay shore, figures notice movement: "LOOK! OVER ON THE BAY SHORE!! THERE'S SOMETHING THERE!!!" A Marine captain with glasses declares, "THE SINGLE WORD 'VICTORY' WILL BE MORE THAN ENOUGH." From the sea, allied ships appear through the ice. Pirates react in alarm, "THOSE AREN'T OUR ALLIES...!! THEY MUST BE MARINES WHO'VE SNUCK AROUND BEHIND THE ICE!! WHAT ARE THEY!I" Impact sounds and motion lines fill the chaotic scene.

The Marines unveil their master stroke as rows of Pacifista cyborgs descend. Narration reads, "The Marines unveiled their master stroke... Approximately one and a half hours after the commencement of battle..." A Marine shouts, "NOW, ALL OF YOU!!!" Another notes, "SO THOSE ARE THE GOVERNMENT'S HUMAN WEAPONS... I HAD HEARD RUMORS..." Luffy stares in shock, "IT'S THOSE BEAR GUYS WE SAW BACK AT THE SHABONDY ARCHIPELAGO!!! THERE'S SO MANY...!!!" The Pacifistas fire massive beams marked with impact SFX. A text box states, "This would rapidly change the flow of battle, sending it hurtling into its final phase!!!" One Pacifista wielder yells, "WE'VE WAITED LONG ENOUGH... IT'S FINALLY OUR TURN!!!" Luffy reacts with terror, "...!!! K...!I K...!! KUMA~~~!!I"
