The Only Family I've Got

On Egghead, Luffy, Chopper, Bonney, and Jinbe are stuffed after using the cooking machine. Luffy says, "Phew--deelish!!" while Chopper calls it "A satisfying meal!!" Bonney asks, "What's keeping everybody?" and Luffy says, "I bet they'll all love the food machine! ...Except maybe Sanji." Atlas tells them, "You guys sure can eat!! All four of you have bulging bellies!" Chopper says, "Mine was already like that." Atlas says, "Well, I ought to get back to work... If I don't run riot, no one will." The Recycle-Cur runs around barking, "Woof! Woof!"

The group sees small workers cleaning Egghead. Luffy asks, "What kinda job is that...?" and Chopper asks, "Who're they?" Bonney says, "I think it's safe to assume... they're lab assistants of some kind." The island suddenly seems deserted: "Odd, this place seemed deserted a second ago... Were they hiding because they weren't sure about us?" Luffy tries on futuristic SSG clothes and says, "Whoa!! These clothes feel so light!! They're nice and breezy too!! Where did you get those?" Bonney warns that the outfits may be too hot, but Luffy is delighted: "No way!! For real?!"

Luffy points to a fashion machine and says, "Here!" The machine advertises, "Nothing beats free clothes after a complimentary meal!!" Bonney changes too, saying, "Mine still feel sticky from all that sea water, it'd be nice to change!!" and picks "Style selection? How 'bout a battle uniform?" Jinbe asks her to wait because he can undress himself. He notes, "These would make for perfect disguises... It's probably too late for that." Bonney says the machine even has tropical styles. After changing, she says, "These are light!! The boots make me feel like I'm floating!!" Chopper calls his new outfit "so futuristic!"

Bonney says, "Well, I'm off to find some weapons and deal with Vegapunk. Catch ya late--" but suddenly warns, "Heads up!!" A giant police Pacifista styled like Kuma appears. Luffy recognizes him: "Puma? It's Kuma!" Bonney wonders, "Is it just me... or is he looking for us?" Luffy shouts, "Let's get outta here!! He's about to charge!!" The Kuma-like police unit lands in front of them with a huge crash and stands over the group.

The Pacifista Kuma announces, "Thieves detected... Provisions and garments reported stolen." Luffy objects, "That stuff wasn't free?!" The Pacifista prepares to fire and someone yells, "He's gonna fire his laser beam!!" Luffy says, "Then why did it just pop out like that?!" and "Surely the damage he's causing is worse than what we did!!" Bonney worries, "Is he trying to kill us?! That's a bit harsh for theft!!" Luffy decides they have no choice: "We'll be toast if we don't fight back!! Yeah, it's just self-defense!!" He winds up "Gum-Gum..." but Bonney screams, "Stop!!" and throws herself at him.

The Pacifista fires and blasts the street while Bonney stops Luffy from attacking. Luffy yells, "What the heck, Bonney?! Didn't you see his lasers?! I've gotta slug him!!" Bonney cries, "That's my father..." Luffy is shocked: "What?! He's... the only family I've got!!" Chopper realizes, "When you said your dad was turned into a cyborg... You were talking about Kuma?!" Bonney pleads with the Pacifista, "I'm begging you!" as it continues beeping.

Bonney remembers her real father smiling and holding her when she was young, then sobs, "Please don't hurt... my daddy!!" The Pacifista keeps attacking while Luffy yells at her, "You dummy! Get outta there!" Jinbe says, "It's just a Pacifista!!" The attack explodes with a huge "BOOM!!" and sends water and debris crashing through the area as Luffy and the others try to get Bonney clear.

In a certain sea in the New World, the Polar Tang is caught in a violent attack. Blackbeard laughs, "Ze ha ha ha!!" as the submarine plunges underwater. The Heart Pirates panic: "It's no good, Captain!!" "We won't be able to escape!!" "Another hit like that, and the water pressure will crush us!!" Law orders, "Let's surface!! There's land north east of here!" The crew is battered by the water and the ship's sudden damage.

The Heart Pirates surface, but many of them have been transformed into women by Doc Q's disease. Crew members tease Law, "Wow, Captain! You're so cute now!" while he snaps, "Do you have a death wish?!" and orders, "Prepare for battle, and be quick about it!!" Others cry, "It got me too!" and "Keep away from the infected!!" Law realizes, "His power's contagious! They're hoping to disorient us... with this forced gender flipping!" He says his clashes with the Emperors taught him that Devil Fruit powers can be countered by using a great deal of Haki. Law then breaks the effect, and the crew calls, "Captain, we've surfaced!!"

Blackbeard's crew reveals their new powers. Doc Q, user of the Sick-Sick Fruit, says, "Ooh... he's managed to nullify the disease!! I'd expect no less from a pirate worth 3 billion!!" He explains, "That's how diseases go, an 'antibody' always comes along. And when one person finds a remedy, it's not long before everyone's cured. It was entertaining though, right? I call this one the Ma-Lady Transformation Plague!" Van Augur, user of the Warp-Warp Fruit, tells Burgess, "I'm gonna send you over to the island!!" Burgess, user of the Buff-Buff Fruit, laughs, "Wee ha ha ha! My Buff-Buff Fruit powers are the frickin' best!" and hurls a mountain. The Heart Pirates shout, "Burgess?! He's lifting a mountain!!" and "It's gonna crush us!!" Law notes, "These guys have hunted down some insane powers... no wonder their bounties keep rising! Superhuman strength, bizarre contagions, teleportation..."

Blackbeard arrives riding Stronger, whose Mythical Horse-Horse Fruit Model Pegasus is revealed. He laughs, "Ze ha ha ha ha ha!!" and says, "With Big Mom and Kaido gone, the world's gonna turn on its head! Sounds fun, huh?!" Stronger struggles under him while Doc Q apologizes, "Err-- Commodore!! Koff!! Stronger says he's struggling to carry our weight... I'm struggling myself." Law faces Blackbeard, who says, "It's been a while, hasn't it, Trafalgar Law?!" Law asks, "What do you want?!" Blackbeard replies, "When you, Kid and Straw Hat left Wano, I knew one of ya would end up here. But I had no way of knowin' which of you would show!!" Law asks if that is any way to speak to a fellow member of the Worst Generation. Blackbeard answers that winner takes all and demands Law's Road Poneglyph rubbings: "Just how many Load Poneglyph rubbings have ya got? I'll be takin' them off your hands!! Kaido had one, didn't he?!" Law says, "You took the words right out of my mouth. Let's settle this, winner takes all!!"
