CHAPTER 839: 'I SHALL NEVER FORGET THE DEBT THAT I OWE YOU'

The discussion notes how it revolved around Sanji's amusing and humorous ways, and how surprising it was for him to die while out on his own. Sanji snaps, "OH, THISI I DON'T WANT IT... I LEFT IT THERE INTENTIONALLY." Niji barks, "SAY WHATI FINISH WHAT'S LEFT ON YOUR PLATE. YO, NIJI. BWAHA HAHA!"

Sanji glares and retorts, "YOU'RE AN IGNORANT, SPOILED PRINCE WHO DOESN'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE VALUE OF FOOD!" The long-haired brother eats and complains, "THE CONSISTENCY ALONE MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE... SO THE ONLY PLACE IT'S GOING INTO WILL BE THE TRASH. BESIDES, THIS WEIRD POTATO SAUCE COMPLETELY KILLED MY APPETITE! I JUST HAD SOME OF THE MOST MOUTH-WATERING CHOCOLATE BEFORE OUR MEAL..." Head Chef Cosette appears, bowing deeply and apologizing, "I TAKE FULL BLAME AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR SERVING FOOD THAT DID NOT CATER TO LORD NIJI'S LIKING AND... MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES!!" Niji explodes in rage, "WHERE THE HELL IS COSETTEI! CALL THE HEAD CHEF! WHAT... WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO MEI! YOU... DO YOU THINK YOU CAN AWAY WITH TALKING TO ME IN THAT TONEI!" He strikes her violently, sending her flying as she cries out in pain.

Cosette is struck hard across the face, blood and impact lines flying as she staggers. Niji looms over her, shouting, "WHY YOU... YOU'VE TOTALLY LOST YOUR MIND!!" The tray and food crash to the floor with a loud "SPLAT" and "DROP". Sanji's eyes widen in shock. He grabs Niji's arm and yells, "ON THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY'S FACEI! ARE YOU TRYING TO LEAVE A SCAR..." Sweat drips down Sanji's face as he holds Niji back, while Cosette watches in stunned silence with wide eyes.

Sanji kneels and begins cleaning the spilled food, explaining, "I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW THIS DISH IS CALLED 'ALIGOT.' IT'S MADE BY CAREFULLY MIXING POTATOES WITH CHEESE. LOOK! NOW IT'S ALL OVER THE FLOOR." Niji sneers, "...THE HELL! THAT SO CALLED 'LADY' IS JUST A MENIAL SERVANT WHO PREPARES OUR MEALS! SUCH A GENTLEMAN." Cosette pleads desperately, "LORD SANJI! PLEASE ALLOW ME TO TAKE CARE OF THE CLEANING!!" Sanji continues, "NONE OF YOU HAVE EVER SO MUCH AS GLANCED IN THE DIRECTION OF AN INGREDIENT SO YOU HAVEN'T THE SLIGHTEST CLUE... THE TIME AND EFFORT PUT INTO SELECTING AND PREPARING THIS MEAT CONFIT! THEY HELP MAINTAIN AND REGULATE OUR BLOOD PRES... POTATOES STRENGTHEN OUR IMMUNE SYSTEMS..." Niji mocks him further. Sanji suddenly grabs a piece of the food from the floor and eats it, declaring, "THIS IS THE MOST REPULSIVE THING EVER!! I THINK I'M GOING TO THROW UP!!" Cosette cries out in horror, "YOU MUSTN'T LORD SANJI! ROYALS SHOULD NEVER EAT FOOD FROM OFF THE FLOOR!!"

Sanji stands with tears and sweat dripping down his face, eyes wide in shock as a voice declares, "THE SEASONING YOU CHOSE FOR THIS... PERFECTION..." Niji glares coldly nearby. Vinsmoke Judge suddenly intervenes, shouting, "STAND DOWN, NIJI! NOW IS NOT THE TIME OR PLACE... NOT BEFORE HIS WEDDING!!" Sanji turns away while Niji retorts, "I WON'T STAND FOR SUCH DEMEANING AND DESPICABLE ACTS! IF YOU INSIST ON CALLING YOURSELF MY BROTHER, YOU'VE GOTTEN WAY TOO COMFORTABLE RUBBING ELBOWS WITH THE LOW-LIFE COMMONERS!!" Judge delivers a powerful kick that sends Niji flying across the room with a massive FWOOSH impact, debris scattering as Sanji watches from below amid the chaos of the hall.

Sanji glares angrily and declares, "BEING AFFILIATED WITH THIS BRINGS SHAME TO ME!" Ichiji, wearing goggles, snaps back, "...YOU BRING SHAME TO OUR FAMILY!" Judge's face twists in fury as he roars, "MEN WHO DARE RAISE THEIR HANDS AGAINST A WOMAN..." while the grand hall with the Germa 66 eagle emblem looms behind them. Reiju stands in the background near the massive throne. Ichiji continues, "SPOILED BRATS THAT DON'T APPRECIATE A WARM MEAL..." Sanji shouts, "EVERYTHING YOU DO... EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR... GOES COMPLETELY AGAINST EVERY FIBER IN MY BODY!!" The brothers and Judge stare coldly as Ichiji adds, "ROYALS WHO TREAT THE LIVES OF THEIR SUBORDINATES AS NOTHING MORE THAN EXPENDABLE PAWNS..."

Reiju smiles faintly while listening. Sanji speaks from behind, "I'VE NEVER UNDERSTOOD HOW THAT BRAIN OF YOURS WORKED EVER SINCE WE WERE BRATS." Ichiji replies, "YOUR OPINIONS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THE PRATTLE AND MUSINGS OF THE PLEBIANS." Niji, in his raid suit, growls, "NIJI'S LOGIC IS FLAWLESS. YOU NEED TO REIGN IN THAT TWISTED THINKING OF YOURS, SANJI." Judge looms forward shouting, "THE ONLY PERSON ACTING DISGRACEFULLY HERE, IS YOU!! TO ACT LIKE ROYALS!! UNDERSTAND THIS... ROYALS ARE MEANT..." Sanji's eyes widen in shock as Judge points at a photo of an old man and demands, "WHO HAD SUCH A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON YOUR UPBRINGINGI PERHAPS IT IS THIS MAN..."

Sanji stands with a serious expression as a voice reports, "WE'VE ALREADY PINPOINTED HIS CURRENT LOCATION... AS WELL AS THE NAME OF HIS SEA RESTAURANT... THE 'BARATIE'!" Judge sits at a table, stating, "I WAS TOLD THAT YOU HAD BEEN KEEPING A RESIDENCE AT THIS MAN'S ESTABLISHMENT UNTIL ROUGHLY 2 YEARS AGO! BIG MOM'S CONNECTIONS RUN VERY FAR... AND VERY DEEP." He continues while holding up wristlets, "IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE, THEN FEEL FREE TO USE THESE WRISTLETS... IT MAY BE A BIT HEAVY HANDED BUT EXPLOITING THIS WEAKNESS OF HIS IS SURE TO YIELD FAVORABLE RESULTS." Judge then warns with a dark glare, "THIS WILL BE YOUR FIRST AND ONLY WARNING ON THE MATTER. I HAVE IT ON GOOD AUTHORITY THAT THIS MAN WILL MEET AN UNEXPECTED AND UNTIMELY DEATH! THAT YOU INSIST ON CHALLENGING AND DEFYING MY ORDERS... IN THE EVENT..."

Vinsmoke Judge leans in close, his masked face filling the panel as he warns, "DO NOT ROCK THE BOAT... DO NOT CAUSE ANY WAVES. I KNOW YOU'RE FULLY AWARE WHAT EACH AND EVERYONE OF US HERE ARE CAPABLE OF." Sanji stares back with wide, sweating eyes while Judge adds, "GET IT THROUGH THAT THICK SKULL OF YOURS..." In the next scene the Vinsmoke siblings walk ahead in a line, their backs turned. Judge continues, "AS LONG AS YOU'RE OBEDIENT AND FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THIS MARRIAGE... YOU WILL SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR OLD FRIENDS AND YOUR OLD LIFE. THIS PROCESS WILL GO OFF WITHOUT A HITCH... AND YOU WILL ACCEPT IT." Sanji trails behind them, shoulders slumped. The scene shifts to a long corridor inside Germa 66. Sanji walks forward alone, head bowed, as narration states "UNSCATHED." The restaurant Baratie is shown in full as Sanji stares at it in awe, thinking "SO THIS IS WHAT A SEA RESTAURANT LOOKS LIKE!! THIS IS BEYOND AWESOME, YOU SHITTY GRAMPS!" A chaotic kitchen brawl follows with Zeff yelling insults at young Sanji: "WHY YOU LIL' EGGPLANT... MUST YOU ALWAYS GET DISTRACTED BY EVERY PASSING PAIR OF BREASTSI!" Sanji fires back, "I COOK FASTER IN MY SLEEP, LIL' EGGPLANT! OI, YOU DEPRAVED LIL' EGG-PLANT! YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! YOU'VE GOT ME BY YOUR SIDE!" The young cooks tumble and crash around the kitchen while a smiling woman watches from a table.

The Baratie flashback continues. Zeff stands on the deck shouting, "TRY NOT TO CATCH A COLD..." and "OWNER ZEFF!!!" Sanji looks up as the old man growls, "SANJI..." A dramatic close-up shows Zeff's intense face as he declares, "EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE FOR THIS SHITTY LIL' EGGPLANT!!! TILL MY DYING DAY, I SHALL NEVER FORGET..." The scene returns to the present. Sanji, now in his Germa outfit, stands before a grand dining hall and says, "MAKE YOURSELF PRESENTABLE WHEN THE TIME COMES." Zeff's image appears beside him, replying, "WITH BIG MOM AND PUDDING LATER TODAY... WE WILL BE HAVING LUNCH... LET US MAKE TOMORROW A GREAT AND MEMORABLE DAY." Sanji stares ahead with a serious expression.

In a castle corridor a man lies beaten on the floor, crying, "HEY, DON'T PASS OUT ON ME NOW!!! PLEASE, CALL A DOCTOR!!" A woman lies unconscious nearby as someone off-panel gasps, "THAT LITTLE PISS STAIN... IT HAD TO BE HIM... ONLY HE'D BE THIS VINDICTIVE!" Reiju stares in shock while Yonji looms over the scene, laughing. Reiju demands, "WHAT KIND OF MAN BEATS A WOMAN TO THE POINT THAT SHE'S RENDERED UNCONSCIOUSI! WHAT THE HELL DID THIS GIRL EVER DO TO YOUI!" Yonji sneers, "THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU STICK UP FOR THE PEASANTS. YOU BROUGHT ALL THIS ON YOURSELF, SANJI. I CAN'T EVEN CALL HIM SCUM... HE'S THE SHIT THAT'S BURIED BENEATH IT!!" Sanji kneels beside the injured woman, holding her gently as blood stains the floor.

Inside the massive Germa 66 cloning facility, rows upon rows of numbered tanks hold identical soldiers suspended in liquid. A massive central tank labeled GERMA 66 dominates the chamber. On the left, a wide-eyed man shouts in shock, "WHAT THE FU...!!!" Below him another figure wonders, "COULD IT BE...I!" and questions "WHAT'S THE SECRET TRUTH BEHIND GERMAI!" A speech bubble states, "WE NEED 21 MORE EXTRAS FOR TYPE MH." Labels read "54 OF TYPE MB." and "30 OF TYPE MST." On the right, Vinsmoke Niji smirks with headphones on, saying "AREN'TCHA JUST ITCHING TO SEE NIJII ALL SIGNS POINT TO HIM BEING THE CULPRIT!" Ichiji replies, "...FINE BY ME! COME WITH ME! I'LL LEAD THE WAY." Further down, a character asks "YOU REMEMBER THIS PLACE, DON'T YOUI" while another responds "WHERE ARE..."
