Biscuits Room

Inside the strange facility, the children stare at the newly arrived Straw Hats and ask, "Who are they?!" One child says, "I've never seen them before...!!" The room is full of enormous children and strange toys, and they immediately fixate on Franky. A child shouts, "Look...one of them's a robot!!" Others cry, "Robot!! Robot!!" and point out details: "It's a real robot!!" "With stag beetle horns!!" "That's epic!!" Another wonders if the odd figures are "the 'frozen people'" and asks whether they ran away. Franky looks around and asks, "Are they giant kids?! Is this an island of giants...?!" Nami observes that the boys seem to like Franky, while Sanji asks, "What did they mean about 'frozen people'?" The page establishes the Biscuits Room as a place full of children who are excited, confused, and apparently accustomed to something called frozen people.

The children crowd closer around the Straw Hats, but their reactions are not all the same. One says, "Some of them aren't all that big, though..." while another keeps shouting, "Robot!!" Then his own priority returns: "Have you seen a child by the name of Momonosuke?! A healthy young boy!!!" The children panic at the talking head. One screams, "Aaaaa aghhhh!! A talking head!!!" Another cries, "Waaaaa yhhhhhhh hhhh!! I'm scared!!" Chopper urges the group on: "Guys, it looks like they're still after us!! We'd better get moving!!" Sanji complains, "Why'd you have to open your fat mouth?!! Now we can't ask them anything!!"

Outside the Biscuits Room door, armed guards in protective suits hurry in with orders. One says, "Keep the gas grenade usage to a minimum!!" Another confirms, "The door to the Biscuits Room is open!!" Their priority is not damaging the children: "All use of guns and explosives is forbidden!!! If we were to harm the children, the Master would be furious!!" Inside, Sanji demands, "Hey, you guys, what kind of facility is this?! We need to know!!" while the samurai head announces, "I am searching for a boy named Momonosuke!!!" Nami, angered by his earlier attitude, yells, "Shut up already, you!!!" and calls him "You male chauvinist pig!!" The guards close in, and Sanji orders them to stop: "Hold it right there, escapees!!!" The page sets up a three-way pressure: guards want the children contained, the Straw Hats need answers, and the samurai head keeps shouting about Momonosuke.

The children turn toward Franky and ask, "Hey, Mr. Robot!! Did you come from outside the island?!" Franky proudly answers, "Sure thing I did!! But actually, I'm a cyborg." Franky reacts with "Huh?!" The page shifts the mood sharply. The giant children are no longer just strange or funny; they are captives asking outsiders for rescue.

The children's pleas intensify. One says, "Please, lady!!" Another says, "You have to help us!!" Sanji shouts, "Don't stop running, Nami-san!!" but the children insist, "We're not sick any more!! We all feel fine!!!" Chopper catches that word and asks, "Sick...?!! What kind of illness...?" A child cries, "We just want to go home!! Please, help us!!!" Chopper panics, "What's going on...?! C-Can't we take them with us?!!" Franky says, "How are we supposed to escape with a huge crowd of children?!" Nami feels the tragedy in the air, while a guard orders, "Out of the way, children!"

The children are still crying when Nami stops running. Sanji calls, "Hurry up, Nami-san!" but Nami's expression changes as she looks at the child in front of her. Then she turns and declares, "Let's save these children!!" Sanji objects, "What are you saying, Nami-san?!! We don't have any reason to do that!! They said themselves they were sick - this could be some kind of hospital!!" Nami begins, "I know that, but..." while Sanji adds, "We've only just met these children, we don't know who they are or why they're here!! We're not some kind of charity, you know!!" Nami cuts through all the practical objections with the emotional truth: "How am I supposed to turn my back... on children who are crying for help?!!!" The page is Nami's decision point. She refuses to ignore them, even though the facility, illness, and danger are still unexplained.

The guards realize the children are not clearing the way and one shouts, "The kids aren't getting out of the way!!" Another says, "At this rate, they're going to escape!!" A guard orders, "Forget the kids!! Just take 'em down!!" The children panic at the cannons: "Aaaa hhhhhhhh hhhh!! The cannons!!" Sanji steps in and snaps, "The kids aren't getting out of the way!!" then attacks with "Diable Jambe!!!" The guards fire anyway, but Sanji dives into the line of attack and unleashes "Collier Strike!!!!!" His flaming kick crashes into the suited guard and disrupts the cannon fire before the children can be hit. The page shows Sanji accepting Nami's decision through action: he stops arguing, protects the children, and turns his anger on the guards.

Sanji follows his kick through, and Nami calls, "Sanji-kun!!" Another guard is struck by Chopper's attack, "Kung-Fu Point!!" while Franky charges with "Strong Right!!!!" and launches "A rocket punch!!" The guards cry out, "Hiyaa aaaaa hhh!!!" and "Uorgh hhh!!" as the Straw Hats knock them backward. Nami watches the fight turn in their favor while Chopper and Franky cover the escape route. You go on ahead with the pretty lady and the Kung-Fu raccoon!! We'll take care of these punks!!!" The samurai head protests, "If anything, I hate you all for putting Nami-san in danger!!!" Sanji answers that he is doing it for Nami's act of kindness, while Franky receives a child's awe: "Thanks, curly-eyebrow guy!!"

Back in the room where they were imprisoned, the guards examine the aftermath of Franky's beam. One says, "I see... This door that should absorb all forms of physical attack, obliterated...!!!" Another notices, "These scorched edges... just who are those people...?" The damage makes them think of government weapons: "I know of only one man with the technology to create laser weaponry...!!! This seems just like the work of one of that accursed Vegapunk's Pacifista!!" They also admit failure: "So... have you still not managed to capture the escaped prisoners?" A communication interrupts them: "Master... there is a G-5 battleship just off the coast!" The Master answers, "...Yes, I am here." When told, "Is the Master here?!" the order comes: "A battleship?! ...!! Make it leave without fail!! Cover the area with poison gas! It would be quite inconvenient to have to kill members of the military...!!!" The page reveals the facility's leader monitoring events and willing to use poison gas even against Marines.

High above Punk Hazard, a winged woman with long hair watches the situation and laughs softly, "Ufufu fufufu..." Someone asks, "Found them?" She replies that she sees what is happening. At the same time, a report comes in: "I count four intruders. We'll take them out right away!!" On the burning side of Punk Hazard, Luffy, Zoro, Robin, and Usopp are still separated from the Sunny group. Brook, speaking through the Baby Den-Den Mushi, says, "Yohohoho, that's quite correct! I was so taken aback, I froze up like a skeleton caught in the derelights, yohohoho!!" He corrects himself: "Hm? I mean, a deer caught in the bonelights... no, bone caught in the deerlights... oh, never mind!! Yohohoho!" Zoro asks why the others vanished and why Brook woke up surrounded by snow and ice. The page connects the island group, Brook, the unknown winged observer, and the facility's surveillance.

Brook explains through the Baby Den-Den Mushi that the Sunny group vanished from the ship. Robin asks, "So who were these people you found on the Sunny trying to steal our cargo?" Brook coughs, "Yohohohoho - *cough* *cough*! Prrrrrrrt!! Ah, excuse me." He admits, "I'm afraid I really don't know... They're all unconscious now, of course... They seem to be wearing some kind of gas masks." Robin reasons, "...Then perhaps they flooded the ship with some kind of gas to knock you all out? Then they could have sailed the ship around to the far side of the island..." Usopp concludes, "And since they didn't leave a note, it seems quite possible that the rest of our crew were carried off somewhere." Brook adds that the enemy must have captured the whole crew and asks whether any buildings or people are nearby. Robin spots the Sunny on the icy coast and says, "As it so happens... You're exactly right."

On the snowy side of Punk Hazard, Robin sees a massive frozen facility built into the ice and says, "There's a monster of a building right in front of me!" The structure is marked "PH-006" and looms above the frozen coastline. Brook says, "It certainly doesn't look like a restaurant. We'll hurry to join you as quickly as we can, do hold on..." Back on the burning side, Usopp wonders, "So who are we up against? People from the government?" Zoro answers, "Who knows... If they're at least human, that would be a relief. I mean, look at the things we've met since we got here... A fire-breathing dragon, a half-person, a bird-woman..." Usopp adds, "And just now, Luffy seemed to be making friends with a centaur!" The Baby Den-Den Mushi clicks, and the page frames the next objective: regroup with Brook and investigate the building on the frozen side.

The apparent centaur suddenly attacks. A leopard-bodied centaur with a heavy weapon swings down toward Zoro and the others, and the impact breaks the ground. The attacker grunts, "Ungh!!!" after the clash, and Luffy reacts with surprise: "I thought you were one of us ...!!" The centaur mutters, "I was careless..." Luffy complains, "That's not very nice! I thought we were getting along well!" Zoro warns, "Don't attack me like that!" Robin notices, "There's another one behind him...!" The page reveals that the "centaurs" are not harmless oddities or automatic allies. At least one is hostile, and more are nearby, turning what looked like another absurd Punk Hazard encounter into an ambush.

Robin reacts with precision, crossing her arms and calling, "Cien... Fleur." Her technique follows: "Rindou!" A centaur is seized and twisted by the blooming limbs, crying, "Gyaa ahhhh hh!!!" as he is thrown down. Around the battlefield, the crew identifies the creatures: "A leopard... and a giraffe?" Luffy is delighted rather than afraid: "Cool! I never knew there were so many kinds of centaur!" Usopp corrects the fantasy: "They're all meat to be horses!! And besides, they're not supposed to exist!!" Then he notices a clue: "Hey, look at this Baby Den-Den Mushi. It's got the letters 'CC' on it!!" Luffy says, "These guys aren't just wild centaurs... I think they're part of an organisation." Usopp concludes they have no choice: "At any rate, there's no turning back now. Even if we crossed the burning sea again, the Sunny wouldn't be on the other side. We don't have any choice but to cross over to the frozen side of the island. And we have four missing crew members to find!!"

The group accepts that the missing crew members were likely abducted. Robin says, "It seems safe to assume that they were abducted by the enemy... I just hope they haven't been riddled with rifle bullets..." Usopp snaps, "Don't say stuff like that!!" Luffy says, "We should've just come to the island from the other side to begin with." Usopp protests, "Don't be silly!! If we'd done that, we wouldn't have been able to eat any dragon meat... And we'd never have met Ashimallow either!!" Zoro repeats the centaur's new name in disbelief: "...Yashimallow." Luffy answers, "That's the name I've given to my new back legs!" and shouts their objective: "Right - let's go! Our new objective: seek out our lost crew in the frozen wasteland!!" Usopp worries, "We really are going to die if we go there dressed like this!!!" while Robin wonders, "I wonder if we can buy some winter clothing somewhere." The scene then shifts to a Marine ship at Punk Hazard's northwest coast, where a voice reports, "It's no use, Vice-Admiral Smoker!!! The place is still flooded with gas!!!"

At the northwest coast, Smoker and Tashigi face a coastline still choked by poison gas. A Marine says, "It's not like there's any sign of the Straw Hat Pirates around here... And they'd have to be crazy to try and land their ship on an island covered with poison gas!!" Smoker is not satisfied: "...!! No, something's wrong here. It's not natural for there to be this much gas." Tashigi adds historical context: "Two years ago, before it became covered in fire and ice, this was just an abandoned island. From what I hear, there was barely any poison left here at that point..." Smoker explains why the island matters: "That's why Akainu and Aokiji... chose Punk Hazard as the stage for their duel." The final wide image shows fire and ice split across the island as the explanation lands: "A duel so fierce that it twisted the island's very climate...!!" The page reframes Punk Hazard itself as the scar left by the battle between Akainu and Aokiji.
