I KNOW! THERE'S MEANT TO BE A LIFT, RIGHTI" A large sound effect "ドドドドド" rumbles. Narration boxes read "NOW, IT'S ALL WELL AND GOOD THAT I'VE GOT AWAY..." and "BENEATH DRESSROSA, TRADING PORT." A small box notes "USOLAND (USOPP) MAKES A RUN FOR IT...I!" Below, Usopp yells "HEY THERE, YOU PEOPLE OUTSIDE!!!" and "SERIOUSLY, THOUGH, WHAT DOES FRANKY THINK HE'S DOINGI!!" as he peers into a destroyed factory area. Amid explosions and falling debris, voices shout "DON'T SLACK OFF!!" and "CARRY THAT CARGO!!" with an impact "UGH!!" A massive speech bubble erupts with "USOLAND!!!" as Usopp dramatically points upward in shock amid a ruined street, surrounded by pirates and onlookers. A pirate with a top hat reacts "!!!I" while another with a crown looks surprised. In the next tier a toy laughs "BIHEHHH!! LIKE HELL I WILL, YOU BRAT, BEHE-HEHEH!!" A pirate sneers "YOU'RE SO STUPID, WON'T YOU DIEI" while another asks "HE'S THESE DWARVES' ALLY THAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT, OF COURSE." Usopp panics "USOLANDI NNNYEHHH... WHO'S THATI WHOA, WHOA, DON'T CALL FOR ME!!" Below, the blonde girl insists "AND NOT JUST US...!! USOLAND WILL..." as a small figure adds "...SAVE EVERYONE...!! THAT'S WHAT HE SAID!" The black figure roars "THEN WHAT, YOU THINK HE'S GOING TO SAVE YOUI!" while laughing "BEHEHEH! H...H... HEROI!" Usopp stares in disbelief as voices murmur "USOLAND IS...OUR..." "...HERO..."

In the underground ruins of Dressrosa, the Tontatta dwarves huddle together in despair. One cries out, "EVEN OUR COMRADES WHO ARE BEING PUT TO WORK AS SLAVES IN THE FACTORY...!!" Another adds, "EVEN THE TOYS...WHO ARE BEING FORCED TO WORK EVERY DAY HERE UNDERGROUND...!!" A third declares, "EVEN THE POOR BIG HUMANS WHO DON'T REALISE THEY HAVE LOST THE ONES THEY LOVE...!!" and "EVEN THE TOYS WHO PUT ON FALSE SMILES IN THE STREETS WHILE INSIDE THEY ARE CRYING...!!" The group erupts in awe as one shouts, "HE'S A LEGENDARY HERO!!!" while another proclaims with tears, "USOLAND WILL SAVE THEM ALL...!" A dwarf in a top hat protests, "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!"

A small girl with glasses and curly hair glares coldly and says, "YOU'VE JUST BEEN TRICKED AGAIN, HAVEN'T YOUI THOSE ARE ALL LIES. YOU POOR LITTLE FOOLS...!!" The dwarves reel in shock. "I... IS THAT TRUEI!" one stammers. A long-nosed dwarf with a wicked grin taunts, "HE'S OFF HIDING SOMEWHERE LAUGHING AT YOU ALL RIGHT NOW!!! BEHEHEHEH!!!" Another demands, "WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEEDI!! DO YOU SEE A HERO HEREI! WHERE IS HE, NYEHHHI!" The crowd panics. One cries, "NO WAY...!!" while another insists, "I'M SORRY TO SAY HE'S PRETTY MUCH RIGHT!! BUT HE'S JUST SOME COWARD WHO COULDN'T TAKE THE PRESSURE!!! HE WON'T HELP YOU!!! YOU'RE HONEST LITTLE PEOPLE, SO I DON'T DOUBT THERE'S 'SOMEONE' OUT THERE... YOU SHOULD ALL RUN FOR IT, TOO!! GOOD LUCK, YOU GUYS!!"

Usopp, sweat pouring down his face, roars with desperate fury, "I AM THE DESCENDANT OF THE HERO NORLAND!!!" The dwarves shout back in unison, "SHUT UP!!! USOLAND WOULDN'T LIE TO US!!!!!" They rally with fierce loyalty: "YEAH!! THAT'S RIGHT!! HE PROMISED THAT IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG, HE WOULD ALWAYS BE HERE TO SAVE US!!!" A dwarf with a helmet growls, "WE WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH IT!!! IF YOU INSULT USOLAND ANY MORE..." while another bellows, "HE GAVE US HIS WORD!!! OUR HERO WOULD NEVER DECEIVE US!!!" The crowd cheers wildly as Usopp's eyes bulge in panic.

Usopp sweats heavily and growls, "WHEN USOLAND GETS HERE... I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR WHAT'S COMING TO YOU!!" In the background, two small dwarves watch nervously. Suddenly a voice screams, "LEO!!!" as Leo is struck and sent flying with a pained "URGH!!" The attacker laughs, "PYEGH!! BEHEHEH!! DID YOU HEAR THATI! 'PYEGH'!!" The dwarves erupt in panic, shouting "PYEGH!!" repeatedly while one yells, "BEHEHEH!! THEN CALL FOR HIM, WHY DON'T YOUI!" Another dwarf cries, "STOP IT!! STOP IT!!" as the chaos spreads. A determined dwarf shouts, "THAT'S RIGHT!! USOLAND WILL MAKE SURE THE SOP OPERATION SUCCEEDS, NO MATTER WHAT! THAT'S RIGHT...!! YOU'RE THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE AFRAID!"

A massive hooded figure looms with mouth agape, roaring "STOP THAT ALREADY, WOULD YOUI!!!!" while sweat flies. Nearby, a wide-eyed Tontatta and a small figure react with shock, one balloon showing "......!!". Below, the scene erupts in chaos: a thatched structure collapses amid flying debris and motion lines. A crowned bear-like figure stands frozen with "!!I", while a spotted creature and a small Tontatta gasp. Panting sounds fill the air. At the bottom, several Tontatta dwarves clutch their heads and scream in unison "USOLAND!!!" and "U... USOLAND!!" as rubble rains down.

Usopp shouts desperately, "I'M NO LEGENDARY HERO!!!" and "HE'S RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!! I WAS LYING ALL ALONG!!!" while Tontatta dwarves tumble in panic. A female Tontatta cries "USOPP!! THANK GOOD-NESS...". Usopp continues, "YOU STUPID LITTLE DWARFS!! HOW CAN YOU KEEP ON TRUSTING IN ME LIKE THATI!!!" In the next spread he declares "MY NAME IS USOPP!!! I'M A PIRATE!!!" and "I'M THE FEARSOME SNIPER OF THE STRAW HAT CREW!!" and "AND MY NAME ISN'T USOLAND!!!" amid crashing debris and "!!I". Below, confused Tontatta ask "WHY ARE YOU SAYING THESE THINGS...I" and "...WHY..." while others yell "WHY ARE THEY HEREI!!" and "TH...THE STRAW HATSI!" as "どよよっ!!" rings out.

A Tontatta sobs "BUT YOU JUST HAD TO KEEP ON BELIEVING ME...!!!" while Usopp weeps "DON'T MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF!! I WAS JUST TRICKING YOU ALL!!" and wails "WAAAAAHHH!". He insists "I JUST TOLD YOU, I'M NO HERO!! I'M A PIRATE!!!" and a small Tontatta replies "YOU'RE A PIRATE...BUT...BUT STILL A HERO, RIGHTII". Usopp continues, "...I MIGHT AS WELL GO OUT FIGHTING LIKE A MAN INSTEAD!" and "I DON'T KNOW HOW I'D SLEEP AT NIGHT KNOWING THAT, SO I FIGURED AS THANKS FOR BELIEVING IN ME...". An enemy sneers "IF I DIDN'T, THESE IDIOTS WOULD KEEP ON WAITING FOR ME UNTIL THEY WERE ALL DEAD!" and mocks "...SO WHAT, YOU CAME BACK HERE JUST TO ADMIT TO YOUR LIEI BEHEHEH!!". In a dramatic close-up Usopp roars "FROM THIS MOMENT ON, I'M GOING TO BECOME YOUR 'LEGENDARY HERO'!!!" and "MY NAME IS USOPP!!! AND DON'T YOU DARE FORGET IT, TONTATTA!! IF I DIE HERE TODAY, YOU'D BETTER PUT UP A STATUE OF ME NEXT TO NORLAND!!" as "辺緊!!" explodes and "!!I" appears.

A reptilian figure yells "IT'S ALL OR NOTHING NOW!! HISSATSU: MIDORIBOSHI!!!" while clutching straws, "BEHEH!! YOU'RE CLUTCHING AT STRAWS!". Tontatta watch in awe, one asking "IS THIS THE MAN WHO IS GOING TO SAVE US ALL...I!" as Usopp is recognized: "USOPP... OF THE STRAW HAT PIRATES...I" and "USOPP...!". In a massive splash, Usopp unleashes attacks with "PLATANUS..." and "...SHURIKEN!!" amid swirling leaves, impact stars, and motion lines. Below, the Tontatta erupt again with "USOLAND!!!" while debris flies and shocked faces fill the panels.

High above Dressrosa, the Royal Palace stands under a clear sky. A caption reads, "ROYAL PALACE, 2F: THE SUIT ROOM." Inside a hallway, a small uniformed soldier examines a sword and thinks, "THIS SWORD LOOKS JUST RIGHT... IF I CAN BECOME HUMAN AGAIN, IT WILL SERVE ME WELL..." Nearby, a massive explosion of feathers erupts as someone shouts, "THERE'S SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE ME HERE IN THE PALACEI!" and another voice reports, "WE'VE RECEIVED REPORTS THAT THE YOUNG MASTER IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!" In a lower room, a woman in a spotted dress and a man in a wide hat react with shock. She exclaims, "HUHI REALLYI MY FATHER WAS COMPETING IN THE COLOSSEUM TODAY! HE WAS SHAKEN BY THE EVENTS OF THIS MORNING, JUST LIKE THE REST OF US... THE COLOSSEUM......!!" The final panel shows a close-up of a scarred, furious man glaring ahead.

News spreads through the city: "TWO PEOPLE WERE KILLED DURING A SCRAP IN THE SLUMS!! A YOUNG LAD HAS COMMITTED MURDER!! AND AS FOR THE CULPRIT..." A large, tattooed man named Kyros, labeled "BOY FROM THE SLUMS - KYROS (15 YEARS OLD)," rampages while soldiers shout, "HE MAY BE JUST A BOY, BUT HIS ACTS OF DELINQUENCY ARE INFAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE LAND!! WE CAN'T LET HIM NEAR KING RIKU!!" Kyros is struck and falls as voices yell, "DON'T SHOOT!! LOWER YOUR WEAPONS!!! WAIT!! HIS MAJESTY IS IN DANGER! SHOOT THE BOY DEAD!!!"

A scarred man with spiky hair stares intensely. Another figure asks, "YOUR NAME IS KYROS, BOY...I COME WITH ME.....!!" Kyros is dragged away amid massive impact sounds and debris as onlookers react. A sign reads "CORRIDA COLOSSEUM." Narration explains: "KYROS, THE FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD MURDERER!! HE BEAT THE FELLOW COMPETITORS IN HIS ROOM TO WITHIN AN INCH OF THEIR LIVES... HE HASN'T EATEN FOR SIX DAYS...AND HE WON'T SPEAK A WORD TO ANYONE. SO WHAT AMOUNTS TO BARBARITY IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD...HERE IS 'POTENTIAL', EHI SUCH POTENTIAL!! WITH A BLADE, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FATAL!! THIS IS THE SACRED COLOSSEUM!!"

Kyros roars in flashback, "SO I KILLED THEM IN RETURN!!! MY ENEMIES WERE A GROUP!! THEY KILLED MY FRIEND!!!" A soldier reacts in shock. King Riku orders, "BRING ME KING RIKU!" and later commands, "BRING HIM FOOD. HE STILL HAS THE WILL TO LIVE." Kyros growls, "I THOUGHT YOU OF ALL PEOPLE MIGHT UNDERSTAND ME!!! ARE YOU AN ANIMALI BOY..." Four months later, Kyros wins in the arena, raising his sword triumphantly as the crowd cheers, "KYROS HAS WON HIS FREEDOM FASTER THAN ANYONE COULD HAVE IMAGINED!! YEAH-HHHHHH!! ONE HUNDRED MATCHES, ONE HUNDRED VICTORIES!!! NOT EVEN OUR STAR COMBATANTS CAN TOUCH HIM!! NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES, IF I WIN A HUNDRED MATCHES YOU'LL GRANT ME PAROLEI"

In the colosseum stands, a fierce man with a scar glares and demands, "WHEN DID YOU BECOME A MAN WHO DESIRED ACCEPTANCEI" A shadowed figure replies, "I CAN'T GO WHERE I'M NOT WANTED." Another voice questions, "YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LEAVE...I" The crowd erupts: "DON'T LEAVE YOUR CELL, MURDERER!!" A swordsman lunges forward with a blade, impact lines flashing as narration reads "A BEAST CAN ONLY BE LOVED WHEN IT REMAINS BEHIND BARS..." The scarred man roars "SHADDUP!!!" Below, the swordsman cries "LET ME FIGHT KYROS!!!" while declaring "I'VE CROSSED MANY OCEANS TO FACE THIS CHALLENGE!!" Massive text proclaims "THREE HUNDRED VICTORIES!!!" and "TWO HUNDRED VICTORIES!!!" Spectators shout "SOMEBODY DEFEAT KYROS ALREADY!!" A young observer yells "TODAY HE'S GOING TO BE FIGHTING A GIANT!!" and "HE'S FACING A FISHMAN UNDERWATERI!" The arena erupts with cries of "HERO AFTER HERO HAS FALLEN AT HIS HANDS!!" and "CAN NOBODY PUT AN END TO KYROS' REIGNI!"

Kyros stands tall amid rubble as the crowd chants "ONE THOUSAND VICTORIES!!!!" and "KYROS-SAMA!" A narrator box states "HIS FOURTH YEAR IN THE COLOSSEUM..." and "HE'S DONE WHAT NO MAN DARED TO DREAM OF!!!" In a graveyard scene, the caped figure walks past tombstones while a voice pleads "DON'T COME NEAR ME, YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND..." Another asks "HERE AGAIN, KYROSI" The desperate man reflects, "NO MATTER HOW FAR I COME, I'LL ALWAYS BE A MURDERER AND A BEAST..." A large narration box reads "THE DESPERATE CRY OF A MAN DOOMED TO BE FORGOTTEN...!!!" In extreme close-up, the anguished face screams "I WISH EVERYONE WOULD JUST...
