HUUUGGEE

A view from the river shows the dense, tropical jungle of the island, with a rustling "ZA ZA" sound coming from the foliage. Sanji, standing in the jungle with a cigarette in his mouth, pauses and looks back over his shoulder. He mutters, "Hmm..? Feels like Nami just called out my name..." Suddenly, a loud rustling "ZAWA..." alerts him. Sanji turns with a shocked "!!?" expression as a massive, terrifying T-Rex-like dinosaur bursts from the jungle canopy right behind him, its jaws wide open in a roar.

Elsewhere in the jungle, Zoro stands calmly with his hand on his swords, looking up at a massive Triceratops. He casually questions, "The hell is this... Can you even eat this thing?" Meanwhile, back on the river, the Going Merry is anchored peacefully. Suddenly, heavy, ground-shaking footsteps echo with loud "THUD THUD" sounds, causing the water to ripple. On the deck of the ship, Nami and Usopp are frozen in absolute terror. Tears stream down Nami's face, and Usopp is sweating and crying, both staring wide-eyed at whatever is approaching them, marked by exclamation points of shock.

A colossal figure looms over the jungle canopy behind the Going Merry. It is a massive giant with a wide, toothy grin, a thick beard, and a horned helmet, holding an enormous axe over his shoulder. A loud "DOON!!" sound effect emphasizes his immense size. The giant booms, "I'm asking you if you have any rum." A caption box introduces him as "GIANT BROGY". Down on the deck of the ship, Nami and Usopp look incredibly tiny in comparison to the giant. One of them stammers nervously, "W-we have a little..."

Brogy's face breaks into an even wider, cheerful smile as he hears their response. "Oh, so you do have some?" he asks. He then throws his head back and lets out a booming, uproarious laugh, "NUAHHHHHHHH!" The sheer volume of his laugh terrifies Nami and Usopp, who scream in panic, "GYAAAAAAA!" Usopp, tears streaming down his face, stammers, "A d..." while Nami, equally terrified and crying, manages to say, "Dino-saur...?" Behind the laughing Brogy, a massive T-Rex emerges from the jungle, its jaws open wide, ready to attack the giant from behind.

Without even looking back, Brogy swings his massive axe backward in a swift, brutal motion. With a loud "GASHAAAN!!" sound, the axe cleanly decapitates the attacking T-Rex. The dinosaur's severed head flies into the air, blood spurting from its neck. Witnessing this horrific display of power, Nami and Usopp scream in absolute, unadulterated terror, "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" and "GYA-". Brogy casually rests his axe back on his shoulder, his mouth wide open in a hearty laugh. "I am Elbaf's strongest warrior, Brogi! Gabababababa!" he declares proudly.

Brogy easily carries the massive, decapitated dinosaur over his shoulder, walking away. "Good, I got some meat! Let me welcome you as my guests!" he announces cheerfully. On the deck of the Going Merry, Usopp's face is shown in an extreme close-up, his eyes wide with sheer panic. Realizing the danger, Nami and Usopp immediately collapse onto the deck with a "DOSA!!" (thud). Usopp whispers frantically, "P-play dead..." and Nami agrees, "Just play dead..." Meanwhile, in a completely different location, Luffy is grinning broadly, looking out over the landscape. "Yahoo! This is a great view!" he cheers, as a pterodactyl flies by in the sky behind him.

Luffy is revealed to be standing casually on top of the head of a colossal, long-necked Brachiosaurus. He looks around at the prehistoric landscape, noting, "I'd sure like to eat lunch up here! Oh, there're volcanoes! I can also see some weird rock full of holes!" Down below, Vivi is panicking, yelling up at him, "Get down, it's too dangerous! It may seem docile but it's still a dinosaur!" Luffy, sitting comfortably on the dinosaur's head, dismisses her concern. "It's fine! This guy's only been eating plants! I don't think it's even taken any notice of me yet! Let's go check out those weird holes up ahead!"

Suddenly, a massive carnivorous dinosaur lunges from the jungle and bites down hard on the long-necked dinosaur's neck with a loud "CHOMP". Vivi screams in horror, "Look, you just got eaten!" The impact sends Luffy flying through the air with a surprised "Huh?". Just as the carnivore attacks, a massive sword swings through the air with a "ZUBASH!!" sound, cleanly slicing the carnivorous dinosaur's head off. The wielder of the sword is another giant, wearing a different style of horned helmet. Vivi watches the decapitated dinosaur fall, her mouth hanging open in utter shock.

A full-page spread reveals the second giant in all his glory. He has a very long, straight beard, a horned helmet with a visor, and wears a dark cape. He holds a massive sword in one hand and a large round shield in the other. He laughs boisterously, "Gegyagyagyagya! Aren't you a lively one! I haven't had any guests in a long time!" A caption box introduces him as "GIANT DORRY". Luffy has safely landed on Dorry's shield, looking incredibly small. Luffy looks up at the giant and simply says, "Woah."

Dorry continues to laugh heartily, "Gegyagyagyagya! I'm Elbaf's strongest warrior, Dorry!" Luffy, standing on the giant's hand, looks up in amazement and asks, "Whoa! You're huuuggee! Are you human?" Down on the ground, Vivi has collapsed onto her knees, sweating and trembling. "A giant! It's... this is my first time seeing one... though I have heard rumors about them..." she stammers. Dorry looks down and notices her. "Agh! He spotted me..." Vivi thinks in panic. Dorry smiles warmly and says, "Let me invite you folks to my place!"

At Brogy's camp, a massive chunk of dinosaur meat on a bone is dropped onto a roaring fire with a heavy "DOSUUUN!!!" sound. Brogy laughs his signature laugh, "Gabababababa!" A caption box reads "BROGY THE GIANT'S HOME". Brogy sits by the fire, tending to the roasting meat. "There! It's all cooked so eat up!" he offers generously. Nami and Usopp sit nearby, looking tiny and absolutely terrified. Usopp stammers, "W... we're not hungry." The area around them is littered with massive, giant-sized human skulls and bones. Nami leans in and whispers nervously to Usopp, "Psst. There're skeletons all around us..." Usopp replies, sweating, "I know..."

Brogy laughs off their hesitation, "No need to decline out of modesty! Eat as much as you want! Dinosaur meat's especially delicious, you know!" Nami and Usopp are sweating profusely. Usopp thinks to himself, "It seems we're going to be eaten too..." while Nami thinks, "It's only too obvious that he's trying to fatten us up so he can enjoy human meat..." Usopp tries to politely decline, "It's fine, we're not up for much of a meal." Nami adds, "We're too young to die... but maybe that's the best time to eat humans..." Gathering her courage, Nami asks, "Umm, Mr. Brogy... may I ask you one question...?" Brogy takes a massive bite of meat ("CHOMP!") and asks, "Hm? What is it, girl?" Nami stammers, "H-how long does it t-take for the Log Pose to finish recording on this island...?" Brogy looks down at them and answers bluntly, "One full year." The shock of this revelation causes Nami and Usopp to literally fall over backward. Brogy laughs, "So take it easy while you're here! Gababababa!"

At Dorry's camp, a caption box reads "DORRY THE GIANT'S HOME". Dorry is laughing uproariously, "Gegyagyagyagya! Dahahahaha!" He sits by a fire, eating from a massive piece of meat. Luffy sits on a nearby rock, happily munching on his own piece of meat. "This is really good, Mr. Giant!" Luffy compliments. Dorry laughs, "Gegyagyagyagya! And your little pirate lunchbox is pretty good too!" Luffy grins, "You bet it is! I would've kicked your ass if you said it tasted bad! Though it is a little small!" Dorry finds this amusing, "Gyagyagyagya! Aren't you a funny little one!" Vivi sits nearby, sweating and observing them, thinking, "T-they're getting along so well..." Luffy then asks, "So why're ya living here alone anyways? Don't you have a village to live in?" Dorry replies, "I do. It's called Elbaf, a village for warriors. It's located somewhere on Grand Line..."

Dorry continues his explanation, his expression turning serious. "But my village, has a certain law." He explains the customs of his people: "If a quarrel breaks out in my village and you can't settle it on your own, then we beseech our god Elbaf for his judgment. Elbaf is just and bestows divine protection on those in the right. He'll ensure the survival of the righteous." Dorry is then shown sitting quietly, looking down at the ground. "I've gotten involved in a quarrel myself, and so this island, has served as the battleground between me and a certain other giant. The one who's in the right shall triumph and survive."

Dorry suddenly throws his head back and yells loudly, "But it's been 100 years since! We just can't seem to settle our duel! Gegyagyagya!" Luffy is shocked by this revelation, yelling, "You've been fighting for over a 100 years!?" Dorry dismisses his surprise, "It's nothing to be surprised about. Our life spans are 3 times your puny ones. Gegyagyagya!" Vivi, however, is appalled. "But even if you do live longer, how could you still want to fight even after 100 years!? Is there any reason in continuing to fight!?" Suddenly, a massive volcano in the distance erupts with a loud "DON!!" sound. Luffy points at it, "Whoa! It's a humongous volcanic explosion!" Vivi realizes the implication, "You're trying to kill each other, aren't you!?" Dorry stands up, grabbing his massive sword. "Looks like it's about time..."

Luffy watches the erupting volcano as Dorry explains, "Not sure when we exactly decided it, but the eruption of that middle volcano, is the signal for battle." Vivi is desperate to understand, yelling, "What...! You two can't possibly hate each other so much to actually want to try and keep on killing each other for over 100 years! Just what exactly was the cause for your qua-" Before she can finish, Luffy suddenly steps in front of her, throwing his arm out to stop her. "Stop! It's not about that anymore," Luffy says seriously. Dorry stands tall, his back to them, holding his massive sword ready. "Yes," Dorry confirms. "It's about pride now. OHHHHH!"

A massive, earth-shattering clash occurs in the jungle. Dorry and Brogy strike each other with their respective weapons - sword against axe and shield. The impact creates a massive shockwave and a deafening "GAAAN!!" sound. As they clash, Dorry yells, "And we forgot the reason..." Brogy finishes the thought, roaring, "Ages ago!" Back at the camp, Luffy watches the distant battle in awe, uttering a simple "Ah." He then falls backward onto the ground with a thud. Vivi looks down at him, concerned. "W... what's wrong?" she asks. Luffy lies on his back, sweating but smiling widely. "I'm beat," he says. "They're just sooo huge!"
