The Man Who Shakes the World

Whitebeard charges across the battlefield, naginata raised, roaring as he clears a path. Marines and pirates clash in the background while a massive Marineford structure looms. Close-ups show shocked allies reacting: "CLEAR A PATH FOR HIM!!!", "IS MAKING HIS MOVE!!!", "HOW BAD HE FEELS!!I", "DO YOU KNOW", "AND HE STABBED THE BOSS....!!! IT'S JUST SO STUPID!!", "THAT BASTARD SQUARDO....!!! HE WAS TRICKED BY THE MARINES." Whitebeard's allies surge forward shouting "YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS, MARINES!!!" and "FOLLOW THE BOSS!!!" A Marine officer with glasses mutters "NIJUU..." as the chaos intensifies.

Squard clutches his head in anguish, tears streaming: "I'M SORRY, BOSS....!!!", "WHAT... WHAT HAVE I DONE....!I!", "I'M SORRY, ACE....!!!" He collapses, crying "I BETRAYED HIM....!!!" and "DAMN IT....!!! MY BELOVED BOSS....!!!" Whitebeard stands tall amid smoke and debris. Allies shout "SORRY!!! THE ICE IS THICKER THAN WE THOUGHT!!!", "WHY ISN'T THE SIEGE WALL UP YET!!I", "AND MAKE IT UP TO HIM....!!!", "STOP CRYING." A bloodied man with a scar stares intensely while another figure weeps heavily.

Luffy races forward yelling "LUFFY!", "BUT ACE COMES FIRST!!!" while Jimbei warns "JIMBEI!! TAKE A LOOK AT THAT!" and "THE ENEMIES HAVE ALL ASCENDED TO THE PLATFORM!!" A massive figure on a sea-horse mount swings a huge blade, roaring "I WON'T LET YOU REACH THE PLATFORM, WHITEBEARD PIRATES!!!" as allies cry "HE'S ALREADY BEEN STABBED!!", "THAT OLD MAN IS AMAZING!!", and "UWAA-AAHH!!!" One pirate mutters "HMM....! I'VE GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS...." while noting "BUT THE BOSS MADE HIS MOVE!! IT'S NO TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT ANYMORE."

Whitebeard swings his massive naginata in a powerful clash, the impact sending shockwaves and debris flying as his opponent is driven back. "!!" A smaller figure tumbles from the force. In the lower panels, Whitebeard presses forward with intense focus. "NUUU!!!" he growls. An ally shouts "ガ がっ!!" as Whitebeard roars, "YOU'RE IN MY WAY....!!" The opponent blocks desperately, yelling, "I WON'T LET YOU PASS!!"

Whitebeard leaps high, his body twisting as the ground erupts beneath him with massive quake effects "グラ". "!!I" he reacts mid-air. Below, the battlefield tilts violently. "THE GROUND IS TILTING!!!" cries one Marine. "MY BALANCE..." another struggles. "WAH!!!" and "EH...!I" echo as soldiers lose footing. "THIS ISN'T AN EARTHQUAKE!!!" someone yells while others shout "DON'T GET CLOSE TO THE BOSS!!!" and "UWAAH!" amid the chaos of crumbling structures and falling debris.

The entire island and ocean tilt under the quake "グラ グラ!!" as buildings and ships slide. "ARE YOU TILTING TOO!!!" Marines cry. A massive impact "ドォォォン...!!!" shakes Marineford. Whitebeard clashes fiercely, "!!I" flashing across panels. Sengoku appears grim. Luffy is addressed in panic: "LUFFY, ARE YOU ALL RIGHT...!I" Screams fill the air: "UWAAAH!! I CAN'T STAY UPRIGHT!!!" Doflamingo laughs wildly, "FUFUFUFUFU!! WHAT A CRAZY OLD MAN!!!" while others yell "UWAAA-AAAHH!"

Debris rains as Whitebeard’s attack continues "ビキ ビキ!!" and "ドドドドド...!!!" Sengoku commands from the platform, "IT'LL REACH THE EXECUTION PLATFORM!!!" and "GO!! CRUSH IT!!!" Allies cheer, "YOU GOT HIM, BOSS!!" while victims scream "GYAAA-AAAH!!" and "IT'S NOT STOPPING!! UWAAH!!" The town crumbles in a colossal "ズドォォォン...!!!" blast, structures collapsing into rubble as the quake devastates the battlefield.

Smoke and debris fill the air above Marineford as shocked voices cry out. "AH! HOW DID IT MISS!I" "IT DIDN'T HIT THE PLATFORM!!!" "THE TOWN!!!" "ALL RIGHT!!!" In a massive central panel the Three Admirals stand on a cloud of ice and smoke. The admiral in the striped coat raises one arm high while the admiral in the dark coat and the admiral in the flowing light coat also extend their hands. A huge speech bubble declares "THE THREE ADMIRALS!!!" Below, close-ups show three tense Marine officers. One with sunglasses mutters, "OHH... WHY DON'T YOU GO MELT IT, SAKAZUKI...!I" Another growls, "THEY CAN'T BECAUSE OF YOUR ICE...!!!" The third orders, "THEY SHOULD HURRY UP AND RAISE THE SIEGE WALL."

Whitebeard's massive quake hurls rubble and ice everywhere. Pirates shout in relief: "HIS CREW EXPECTED IT AND GOT OUT OF THE WAY!!" "CAN'T THAT OLD MAN TELL WHO'S ON HIS SIDE!" "THAT WAS CLOSE!! I ALMOST FELL UNDER THE ICE." Luffy crouches amid the chaos, panting "HAA..." Whitebeard himself roars from the deck of his ship, "UWOO-OHH!! KEEP PUSHING FORWARD, MEN!!! FIRE!!!" The quake's impact sends the massive vessel lurching forward with enormous sound-effect lettering. On the right, three Marine officers in white "正義" (Justice) coats watch grimly. One mutters, "THEY ALL LOOK PRETTY ANGRY..." Another adds, "HOW FRIGHTENING..."

The battlefield erupts into frantic motion. A pirate yells, "WHAT A SIGHT, KISHISHI!!!" while another screams, "WE CAN'T BACK THEM UP IF THEY STAY HERE!! RUN!! WE HAVE TO SHAKE THEM!!!" Luffy sprints across broken scaffolding, shouting "THE OBSTACLES ARE GONE!! I CAN GET UP THERE!!" He leaps with a loud "BIVOOON!" and "PAKI PAKI" as debris flies. Below, a Marine gasps "WAH!!" while another cries "WHAT!I" A massive wall panel shows the structure cracking with the sound "グググィン..." and the caption "THE WALL!I" Luffy's shocked face fills the final panel as he stares upward.

A wide splash page reveals the full scale of the siege. The Marine fortress looms behind a colossal steel wall labeled "海軍" (Marines). Voices shout, "WE'RE SURROUNDED!!!" "WHAT'S GOING ON!I" Smaller panels show Oars Jr. straining, bloodied, as narration explains, "IT SEEMS LIKE HIS BLOOD HAS GOTTEN INTO THE SYSTEM AND FORCED IT TO POWER DOWN...!!!" and "...THE SIEGE WALL CAN'T LIFT UP THAT GIANT OARS'S BODY...!!!" At the base of the wall, Whitebeard Pirates clash with Marines. One Marine yells, "THE CANNONS ARE ALL AIMED AT US!!" Another cries, "YOU TOO SCARED TO FIGHT!!!I MARINES!!!" Whitebeard bellows, "THEY MUST HAVE MEANT THIS STEEL DEFENSE WALL!!!" while his crew shouts, "THE 'SIEGE WALL' THEY'VE BEEN YELLING ABOUT..." and "DAMN IT!! IT'S NOT BUDGING! THE STEEL'S TOO THICK!!" Luffy stares upward and whispers, "OARS... YOU..."

Massive ice structures shatter under explosive force as Akainu unleashes his power. "DESTROY THEIR FOOTING!!!" reads a narration box while giant magma fists labeled "ドゴゴゴゴ+" smash through the frozen battlefield. "MELT THE ICE!" another box commands. Marines and pirates tumble amid the collapsing terrain; Luffy stares upward in shock with wide eyes and an open mouth. A close-up shows Akainu’s stern face under his cap as he declares, "THIS IS OUR CHANCE...!!!" Nearby, Aokiji (Kuzan) in his cap and glasses speaks: "IT'S NOT FINISHED... BUT GET STARTED, AKAINU...!!!" The final panel reveals Akainu raising his arm as he intones, ""METEOR VOLCANO.""
