"THIS GUY...!I" Kaido's heavy breathing fills the air as the group processes the scene.

Kaido swings his kanabo, declaring, "ONCE WE'VE BROKEN HIS SPIRIT, HE'LL BE A FORMIDABLE SOLDIER FOR US!!" A subordinate replies, "...YES, SIR!!" and adds, "MAKE SURE THE WORD PIRATE ISN'T WRITTEN IN THE NEWSPAPER. IT'S FORBIDDEN FOR THE OUTSIDE WORLD TO HAVE ANY INFLUENCE HERE." Kaido roars, "THROW HIM IN A CELL!! WORORO RORO...!!" In a sudden burst of motion, Luffy's body twitches violently with impact lines and "ズン...ズン..." SFX. The subordinates panic: "!!I" "HUH..." Kaido turns with a fierce glare. A small dragon-like creature yelps, "WAAAAAAAH!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS!I" as two figures collapse with "THUD THUD" sounds.

Kaido's face twists in realization. "DID THAT UNCONSCIOUS BRAT USE ITI!" "LORD ODEN'S ABILITY...!!" "...THAT WAS..." He stares at Luffy and mutters, "THE ABILITY TO USE CONQUEROR'S HAKI. JUST LIKE THAT BRAT. SO... YOU ALSO HAVE... WE DON'T NEED THAT MANY CONQUERORS." Luffy lies on his back, eyes open, breathing heavily with "ゴゴゴ..." SFX. In the next scene, Kaido transforms into his massive dragon form, sighing with musical notes, "SIGH..." "I'VE GONE COMPLETELY SOBER." He says, "I'LL TAKE CARE OF TRAFALGAR NEXT TIME... FOR NOW, I'M GONNA GO DRINK SOME MORE."

Law stands in the forest, worried. "WE'RE IN TROUBLE NOW. ON TOP OF THAT, I'M WORRIED ABOUT BEPO AND THE REST OF MY CREW... AND I CAN'T LEAVE THE REST OF THOSE IDIOTS BY THEMSELVES, EITHER." He notes, "...A NAIL MADE OF SEA-STONE... I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE...!!!" Meanwhile, in a town, a long-haired man with face paint declares, "I WON'T LET THEM ESCAPE FROM ME..." "I WILL DEFINITELY FIND THEM..." Signs read "BAKURA TOWN-" and "OKOBORE TOWN-". A woman in a kimono runs while thinking, "HUFF... I NEED TO APOLOGIZE..." "...I WANT TO APOLOGIZE..." "HANG IN THERE, GOROBE!!!" An old man named Gorobe stands outside a damaged building as she calls out, "TO LUFFY-TARO...!!"

O-Tsuru speaks gently to the man beside her: "YOU HAVEN'T CHANGED AT ALL...!!! HOWEVER, OUR REUNION... O-TSURU... EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN 20 YEARS, YOU'RE STILL SO BEAUTIFUL..." The man replies, "WILL HAVE TO BE AFTER WE'VE FULFILLED LORD ODEN'S WISHES..." Nearby voices add, "...WE WASTED ALL OF THE FOOD... THAT HE GENEROUSLY GAVE TO US...!! FOR THIS TOWN BEING ATTACKED... SINCE HE'S SUCH A KIND SOUL. I JUST HOPE HE WON'T FEEL RESPONSIBLE..." Suddenly Ashura Doji bursts onto the scene with a powerful "はっ んっ!!" and the cry "ASHURA DOUJI!!!" A distant figure reacts with "HM!I" as "CLOP CLOP CLOP" hoofbeats echo. In the ruined landscape a young woman with long black hair cries out in relief, "THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE ALL SAFE!!!" while impact lines and debris fill the air around the shattered stone structures.

The ground collapses into a massive sinkhole as panicked voices shout, "PLEASE SAVE US!! THE GROUND IS SINKING TOO FAST!! WOOF WOOF!!" and "O-KIKUUUU UUUUUU!!!" A figure explains, "EVEN THOUGH WE GOT SAVED FROM WHAT HAPPENED ABOVE... AT THIS RATE, WE'RE GOING TO SINK ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN!!!" Shinobu stands calmly and declares, "MY MATURE-MATURE BEWITCHMENT JUTSU IS CAPABLE OF MATURING THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD." A companion notes, "SO YOU WERE SAVED BY SHINO-CHAN'S TECHNIQUE!!" Another voice protests, "HEY, PHRASING MATTERS!!" as the matured, decayed pit stabilizes. The group reaches safety; one calls, "SAVE US TOO!!!" while another sighs, "PHEW, I WAS ABLE TO CARRY ALL OF THE LADIES TO SAFETY." Nearby allies urge, "WE NEED TO TREAT HER IMMEDIATELY...!!! WE'RE TOO OUT IN THE OPEN, LET'S HEAD INTO THE FOREST. HEY... CAN YOU SPEAK...I SHE'S STILL BREATHING..." News explodes across Wano: "EXTRA EDITION!! EXTRA NEWS EDITION!! HAS SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE WANO COUNTRY... NEWS OF LUFFYTARO'S SCUFFLE IN KURI..." In a crowded street a sweating man stares in shock, "HUH!!I" as townspeople read the paper aloud: "I WONDER IF HE MADE IT TO WANO COIN... OH!! IT'S ABOUT LUFFY."

A woman with an elaborate hairstyle gasps, "HUH!!I" while another figure sings, "OH, MY! LUFFY HAS ARRIVED IN WANO..." T/N: ALL THREE "HUHS" ARE WRITTEN THE SAME WAY AS THE TITLE. ODA IS PROBABLY MAKING A PUN. Elsewhere a man with a long nose shouts, "HUH!!I" as papers fly: "EXTRA ISSUE!!" A reader exclaims, "OH, L-L..." In a lively eatery someone yells, "DON'T SPIT WASABI SUSHI EVERYWHERE!! HEY! THAT'S DISGUSTING, BUDDY!! COUGH COUGH!! ALSO, YOU'RE EATING TOO MUCH!! ARE YOU ACTUALLY ABLE TO PAY FOR ALL OF THIS!!I" while another asks, "WHAT ARE YOU READINGI" The newspaper reader answers, "OH, A SAMURAI NAMED LUFFYTARO AND MASTER KAIDOU..." with sound effects "ムシャムシャ MUNCH MUNCH" and "PPPFFFFF!" T/N: JUKU-JUKU.

The next day in Wano Country's Udon prison district, massive iron-smelting towers rise amid smoke and chains. A narration box declares: "THE NEXT DAY... WANO COUNTRY-UDON". Prisoners are forced to hammer glowing iron while guards shout, "BEAT IT, BEAT IT!! BEAT THE IRON!!" and "THE HARDER AND STRONGER THE WEAPONS YOU MAKE ARE... THE MORE THE CAPITAL WILL PROSPER!!" One guard yells "MOVE FASTER!!" while another threatens, "IF YOU WANT TO REST, WE'LL KILL YOU!!!!" and "IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO LIVE... YOUR LIVES BELONG TO LORD OROCHI!!!" Near a barred cell door, a guard holds up a large poisonous fish and says, "HEY, IT'S THE RUMOURED NEWCOMER!" Inside, voices discuss orders: "Give it one poisonous fish per day... with the bones removed." "No idea. Our orders were to..." "What's in this cell...I" "A poisonous fish." "We usually use the poisonous fish when we're trying to kill someone, but it seems that whatever's in there is still alive." "Is it a croco-shark or somethingI Why do we have to treat it nicely and remove the bones...I"

Outside the prison gate, a mounted samurai in ornate armor and a large helmet arrives on horseback. A guard recognizes him: "AND WHO WENT ON A HUGE RAMPAGE, DESTROYING THE TOWN IN THE PROCESS...! YOU'RE FINALLY HERE, NEWBIE!!" Another voice adds, "SO THAT'S HIM... THE MAN WHO WENT AGAINST MASTER KAIDO... PREPARE YOURSELF!!" Inside, a bandaged prisoner with a spotted cloak faces the guards. One guard laughs, "I THOUGHT HE'D AT LEAST BE AS BIG AS AN ALL-STAR..." while another mutters, "THAT TINY KID!I" The prisoner glares intensely, causing the guards to recoil in shock. One guard panics, "WHAT'S THIS!I HE'S GLARING AT US GUARDS!!" The prisoner thinks, "I'LL MAKE YOU LOSE THE SHINE IN YOUR EYES IN NO TIME!..." as a large fish bone flies out and strikes a guard, who screams "GYAAAAH!! BLOOOOWW OUUUUT!!" while spitting blood.

The fish bone attack continues as guards yell, "NOBODY KNOWS FOR SURE!!" "DID YOU GIVE IT A FISH WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE BONES!I" "YOU IDIOT!!" "WHAT!I IS THERE ACTUALLY SOMETHING INSIDE OF THERE!I" The bandaged prisoner is thrown into a cell while a guard declares, "WE'LL WORK YOU TO DEATH!! GYAHAHA!!" Another adds, "STARTING TOMORROW, WE'LL PUSH YOU AROUND UNTIL YOU WANT TO DIE...!!" and "AND YOU'LL STAY HERE UNTIL YOUR WILL BREAKS AND YOU PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE TO MASTER KAIDO!!!" The prisoner is left alone on the floor. In a separate scene, a large bearded man with a spiked club sits in shadows while the bandaged prisoner lies nearby; both remain silent with ellipsis speech bubbles as dramatic impact effects fill the air.
