Surpassing You

A massive explosion rocks the battlefield, sending Rebel Army soldiers and Royal Guards flying into the air amidst a cloud of dust and debris. Weapons and shields are scattered in the blast. In the foreground, Tashigi shields her face from the shockwave, looking on in shock with a "!!?" bubble. A marine with glasses is blown backward by the force. Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp stand together, looking shocked and battered. Nami, with dirt on her face, says, "He... protected the country..." Sanji, looking grim, adds, "That son of a gun..." Usopp, heavily bandaged, says, "You've gotta be kiddin' me..." Chopper looks on with a "!!" bubble. Usopp then points forward, saying, "...Look." The bottom panel shows the massive battle continuing in the plaza in front of the palace, with soldiers clashing swords and spears amidst clouds of dust. A large "OOOOO!!?" sound effect fills the air.

The chaotic battle in the plaza continues. A soldier screams "RAHHHH!" while a marine shouts, "SGT. MAJOR! WATCH OUT!" Tashigi blocks an incoming sword strike with her own blade, yelling, "Wait! Stop it, all of you!" Zoro watches the scene, noting, "TIMES LIKE THESE ALWAYS PRESAGE THE CHANGE OF AN ERA...!" Tashigi looks overwhelmed, uttering, "Wha..." A thought bubble, likely recalling Smoker's orders, reads, "TASHIGI, KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON WHAT HAPPENS TO THIS COUNTRY." The bottom panel shows a wide shot of the intense melee, with weapons clashing and dust rising.

Tashigi looks distressed and desperate as she watches the endless fighting. She cries out, "Why won't they stop...!? Why...!?" and "THIS IS MADNESS...!!" Nami looks up towards the clock tower as a bell chimes, with sound effects "-OP......TING!" and "-SE!". At the top of the clock tower, Vivi is screaming at the top of her lungs, tears in her eyes. She yells, "PLEASE! STOP FIGHTING!" "STOP FIGHTING!" "PLEASE!" The bottom right panel shows Crocodile's silhouette standing on a high ledge, looking down at the plaza.

Vivi continues to scream desperately from the clock tower, "PLEASE STOP FIGHTING!" "PLEASE STOP FIGHTING!" Zoro looks up and mutters, "You dummy." Sanji looks concerned, saying, "Vivi..." Nami yells to the others, "PLEASE STOP FIGHTING! We've gotta reduce even just one less casualty if we can!" Sanji agrees, "Come on then! I don't care if we have to punch or kick them, we've gotta stop the rebellion!" Usopp is suddenly hit in the head by a stray projectile, yelling, "W-what was that for!?" and "What're you all just standing around for!?" The bottom panel shows a close-up of Vivi's tear-streaked face as she continues to scream, "PLEASE! STOP FIGHTING!" "PLEASE! STOP FIGHTING!"

Luffy, covered in blood and injuries, screams furiously, "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" He lunges forward and delivers a devastating punch directly into Crocodile's stomach. Crocodile coughs up blood from the impact. The next panel shows Luffy's bloodied foot kicking upwards. Crocodile's face is contorted in pain and shock as he takes the hit, with a large "OOHHH!" sound effect.

Luffy follows up his attack by kicking Crocodile high into the air. Luffy yells, "AGHHH!" as he stretches his arms far back, preparing for another massive strike. Crocodile is sent flying backward, crashing through stone pillars and debris, his body reeling from the force of Luffy's blows.

Crocodile, battered and bleeding, glares down at Luffy. He thinks, "JUST WHERE IS THIS BRAT STILL DRAWING HIS STRENGTH FROM!? THE SCORPION VENOM SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE AFFECTED HIS BODY!" Flashbacks of previous encounters flash through his mind: Robin saying, "THOSE PIRATES ARE HERE IN THIS TOWN...", Mr. 3 saying, "THEY'RE STILL ALIVE!?", his own words, "LUFFY? NEVER HEARD OF HIM... BY WHOM...?", and another voice, "MR. 5 AND HIS PARTNER WERE DEFEATED? HMM... SURELY THERE MUST BE SOME MISTAKE." Crocodile forms a sharp sand blade on his arm with a "SHING!" sound. He yells, "JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?" Luffy, winding up his stretched arms, shouts back, "I DON'T CARE WHO THE HELL YOU ARE OR WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE FROM!" Crocodile retorts, "YOU'RE JUST A DAMN BRAT FROM GOD-KNOWS-WHERE!"

Luffy screams with intense determination, "I WILL SURPASS YOU!" He launches himself upwards from the crumbling floor, his stretched arms trailing behind him. He breaks through the stone ceiling, propelling himself directly towards Crocodile, who is positioned above amidst the falling rubble.

Crocodile unleashes a massive sandstorm attack. He yells, "SABLES... TURN INTO RUBBLE ALONG WITH THIS TEMPLE!" and then "PESADO! (Heavy Sandstorm)". A dark, swirling vortex of sand forms from his hand. Luffy is caught in the powerful winds, struggling against the heavy sandstorm as large chunks of stone and debris fly around him.

The underground temple continues to collapse around them. Luffy, caught in the air, inhales deeply, inflating his body like a balloon with a "NGHH!" and "MN!". He then rapidly deflates, using the expelled air to propel himself forward like a rocket. Crocodile looks on in surprise with a "!?" bubble as Luffy shoots towards him through the falling debris.

Luffy spins rapidly in the air, twisting his stretched arms together to create a tornado-like effect. He yells, "GOMU GOMU..." Crocodile, seeing Luffy approaching, prepares his own counterattack, forming a massive sand blade and shouting, "DESERT..."

Luffy unleashes his attack, shouting, "STORM!" Crocodile simultaneously strikes with his sand blade, yelling, "LA SPADA! (Desert Blade)". Luffy's untwisting arms deliver a rapid-fire barrage of punches that clash directly with Crocodile's sand blades. The sheer force of Luffy's punches begins to break through Crocodile's defense, and Crocodile's face is shown taking the brunt of the impacts.

A dense, action-packed page showing Luffy delivering a relentless flurry of punches. Luffy screams, "AAAAAAA AAAAAHH HHHHH!" as his fists become a blur, striking Crocodile from all angles. The impact shatters the ground of the plaza above, sending massive chunks of stone and debris flying into the air amidst the ongoing battle in Alubarna. Crocodile's body is seen rocketing into the sky above the city.
