THE ADMIRAL OF THE MARINE HEADQUARTER, BLUE PHEASANT

The Straw Hat crew stands on the grassy shore, facing a very tall, lanky man wearing a vest and a sleep mask pushed up on his forehead. Luffy, looking serious, asks Robin, "ROBIN, WHAT'S WRONG? DO YOU KNOW THIS GUY!!?" The tall man looks down at them and says, "WE MET ONCE BEFORE..." Behind Luffy, Robin is visibly terrified, her eyes wide and face covered in sweat as she pants heavily, "<SFX> PANT... PANT...". She thinks to herself, "WHO IS THIS GIANT!!?" The rest of the crew reacts to her unusual panic. Sanji, cigarette in mouth, says, "TO TERRIFY ROBIN TO THIS EXTENT..." while Nami, also sweating, asks, "WHO IS HE!!?" Zoro and Chopper look on tensely.

The tall man stands casually with his hands in his pockets. He tells the crew, "IT'S NOT LIKE I WAS ORDERED TO COME HERE. I'M ONLY HERE FOR A WALK." He adds, "LITTLE BOYS SHOULDN'T BE SO AGGRESSIVE. CHILL~ CHILL~ ARARARA..." Robin, still sweating profusely, reveals his identity: "HE'S A SUPREME ADMIRAL OF THE MARINE HEADQUARTERS." Tonjit, the old nomad, looks shocked. Zoro angrily questions him, "'ORDERED?' WHO DO YOU WORK FOR!!?" A large panel shows the entire group reacting to Robin's revelation, with a jagged speech bubble yelling, "SUPREME ADMIRAL!!??" The tall man simply stands before them, towering over the crew and Tonjit's tent.

Robin continues her explanation, her face grave. "IN THE ENTIRE MARINE NAVY, THERE ARE ONLY THREE PEOPLE WITH THE TITLE OF 'SUPREME ADMIRAL.'" Sanji, looking stressed, repeats, "THE HIGHEST RANKED FIGHTERS OF THE MARINE...? SUPREME ADMIRALS... AS IN..." A silhouette panel depicts three imposing figures. Robin names them: "'KIZERU,' THE YELLOW MONKEY", "'AOKIJI,' THE BLUE PHEASANT", and "'AKAINU,' THE RED DOG". She adds, "THOSE THREE MEN ARE CROWNED THE TITLE 'ULTIMATE ASSAULT FORCE' BY THE WORLD GOVERNMENT, AND HE IS ONE OF THEM!!!" She notes that the only one superior to them is Sengoku, the Commander in Chief. Zoro, gripping his swords, asks, "WHAT IS SOMEONE LIKE HIM DOING HERE?" Sanji yells angrily, "...THERE ARE PLENTY OF PIRATES WORTH MORE THAN 100 MILLION. GO GET THEM!? JUST LEAVE US ALONE!"

Sanji and Zoro yell at the tall Marine, Aokiji. Sanji shouts, "PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAY! DAMN IT!" while Zoro yells, "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!?" Ignoring them, Aokiji leans down to look at Nami, saying, "OOOH! WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE? ANOTHER SEXY LADY!! ARE YOU FREE TONIGHT?" Nami looks taken aback. Aokiji then stands up, holding his hands out placatingly. "I TOLD YOU I AM ONLY HERE FOR A WALK. NO NEED FOR SO MUCH HOSTILITY. I TOLD YOU TO CHILL, KIDS... YOU ARE THE ONES WHO SHOULD LEARN TO LISTEN." Usopp points at him in disbelief, yelling, "THERE'S NO WAY THAT SOMEONE LIKE HIM CAN BE A SUPREME ADMIRAL OF THE MARINE!!! ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT MISTAKEN, ROBIN?" Aokiji replies, "HEY. HEY. DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR COVER." He scratches his head and says, "WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS THAT YOU GUYS ARE......I FORGOT. OH WELL." Sanji angrily retorts, "YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY SENSE!!!"

Aokiji lies down on the grass, propping his head on his hand. "OH WELL... MY LEGS ARE TIRED FROM STANDING. TIME TO REST..." Sanji yells at him, "THEN WHY WERE YOU SLEEPING WHILE STANDING?" Aokiji calmly replies, "I ALWAYS UPHOLD THE MODEL OF 'UPTIGHT WITH ABSOLUTE JUSTICE.'" Sanji screams back, "I CAN SEE THAT!!" Luffy asks, "YOU'RE REALLY NOT HERE TO PICK FIGHTS?" Usopp mutters, "HE JUST DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A 'SUPREME' ADMIRAL TO ME..." Aokiji explains, "I'M ONLY HERE TO CONFIRM THE WHEREABOUTS OF NICO ROBIN AFTER THE ALABASTA INCIDENT... I THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE WITH YOU. ANYWAYS, I DO NOT INTEND TO ARREST YOU... SO CHILL." He continues, "I'M ONLY GOING TO REPORT THE DISCOVERY. SO THEY CAN RECALCULATE THE BOUNTY FOR YOUR GROUP... ONE MORE PERSON WILL INCREASE IT BY... 160 MILLION PLUS 79 MILLION WOULD BE..." He pauses, then gives up. "TOO HARD TO COUNT. --- TOO ROUGHLY THE SAME AMOUNT. TOO LAZY TO COUNT?"

Usopp panics, yelling at Luffy, "HE'S A 'SUPREME' ADMIRAL FOR GOD'S SAKE!! DON'T START AN UNNECESSARY FIGHT!!" Sanji is holding Luffy back as Luffy struggles, shouting, "LET GO OF ME!! LET ME GO!! SO WHAT? I STILL WON'T LET HIM TAKE ROBIN!!!" Luffy stretches his arm back, preparing an attack: "GOMU GOMU...!!!" Usopp pleads, "WAIT, LUFFY!! DON'T DO IT!!" Aokiji looks up and says, "HM? YOU'RE MISTAKEN. I ALREADY SAID THAT I DON'T PLAN TO DO ANYTHING..." Robin watches tensely. Luffy yells at Aokiji, "I'M GOING TO SEND YOU FLYING!! GO TAKE YOUR WALK ELSEWHERE!! YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!!" Nami sweatdrops and observes, "WHY DOES IT FEEL LIKE LUFFY IS WINNING THE ARGUMENT...?" Aokiji sighs, holding his hands up defensively, "YOU'RE OVERREACTING... OKAY. OKAY. I'LL LEAVE... BUT I OVERHEARD SOMETHING WHILE I WAS NAPPING..."

Aokiji points at Tonjit. "YOU... I WASN'T IN A DEEP SLEEP SO I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID. PACK UP AND GET READY TO MOVE." Tonjit looks confused, uttering, "HM?" Luffy angrily points at Aokiji and yells to Tonjit, "NO. DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!! HE'S FROM THE MARINES! THE MARINES!!!" Luffy then realizes something, putting his hand behind his head and laughing, "<SFX> A HAH HAH. OH! THAT'S RIGHT. YOU CAN LISTEN TO HIM. NORMALLY THE MARINES ARE THE GOOD GUYS AND WE'RE THE BAD GUYS. WHY NOT?" Usopp yells at Luffy, "THIS IS NO TIME FOR A JOKE!!"

Aokiji continues talking to Tonjit. "HE SOUNDS LIKE HE WANTS TO HELP THE OLD GUY! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO DO. BASICALLY YOU WANT TO CATCH UP TO THE PEOPLE WHO MOVED WHEN YOU WERE STUCK HERE... YOU PLAN TO RUSH TO THE 3RD ISLAND AFTER THIS ONE, AND THAT YOU NEED TO WAIT UNTIL LOW TIDE TO RIDE YOUR HORSE ACROSS?" Luffy interjects, "BUT THAT HORSE'S LEG IS WOUNDED." Aokiji agrees, "CORRECT? YEAH... AND THAT IS WHY MOVING IS IMPOSSIBLE RIGHT NOW." Usopp looks skeptical, "IT'LL BE FINE. THAT DOESN'T SOUND CONVINCING AT ALL...!!" Robin, however, says, "IT'S TRUE... WITH HIS HELP, IT'S POSSIBLE." Luffy looks surprised by her statement.

The group moves to the shoreline. Aokiji says, "WE'RE HERE. OKAY. THE TIDE WILL SUBSIDE ONCE A YEAR, AND A ROAD WILL APPEAR WHEN IT DOES. YES?" Tonjit's horse, Shelly, neighs, "HIHIIN". Tonjit is packing his things onto a cart attached to Shelly. He laughs, "IT SURE FEELS GOOD TO WORK OUT ONCE IN A WHILE. IT SURE IS!! SO YOU'RE A NICE PERSON AFTER ALL!! THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME. HERE... HAVE SOME CHEESE." Nami looks suspicious, "ARE YOU TRYING TO POISON US!? NOW THEY'RE ACTING LIKE FRIENDS..." Luffy asks Aokiji, "SO... WHAT NOW? ARE YOU GOING TO PULL EVERYTHING ALONG WHILE YOU SWIM ACROSS?" Aokiji replies, "NOW THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE... MOVE AWAY... FOR A LITTLE BIT PLEASE..."

Aokiji crouches at the water's edge and dips his fingers into the sea with a "CHYAPU..." sound. Suddenly, the water erupts as a massive, terrifying Sea King bursts out, its huge jaws open wide. Tonjit screams in terror, "AH!! IT'S THE SEA KING THAT LURKS AROUND HERE!!!" The rest of the crew panics, yelling, "GYAAAAA!!!" "GET AWAY FROM IT!!" "WATCH OUT!!" Unfazed, Aokiji stands up and calmly says, "ICE AGE".

A massive single-page spread shows the devastating power of Aokiji's attack. The entire ocean surface, as far as the eye can see, instantly freezes solid. The giant Sea King is caught mid-lunge, completely encased in jagged ice. Large sound effects "<SFX> GAKI---N!!" and "<SFX> DO NH!!" emphasize the sudden, massive freezing. The Straw Hats and Tonjit are tiny silhouettes on the shore, dwarfed by the frozen landscape and the frozen monster.

The crew stares in absolute shock at the frozen ocean. Luffy's jaw drops wide open as he yells, "DEVIL FRUIT!!" Zoro, Usopp, Chopper, Sanji, Nami, and Tonjit all have expressions of disbelief. Robin explains, her face serious, "THE SEA... FROZE OVER...!! ELEMENTAL CLASS:... THE FREEZING POWER OF THE 'HIE HIE FRUIT' OF AN ADMIRAL OF THE MARINE HEADQUARTER...!!!" Aokiji stands near the frozen waves, his hand still touching the ice, and says, "THIS IS THE EXTEND OF THE POWER".

Aokiji stands up, the ice crackling around him with a "<SFX> PAKI PAKI" sound. He tells Tonjit, "THAT SHOULD HOLD FOR ABOUT A WEEK... YOU CAN TAKE YOUR TIME. GOOD LUCK ON LOCATING YOUR VILLAGE. IT'S A LITTLE COLD BY THE WAY... YOU SHOULD WEAR MORE CLOTHING..." Tonjit stares at the frozen sea in awe, tears welling in his eyes. "IS THIS A DREAM...? THE SEA BECAME AN ICE LAND... SHERRY... WE CAN CROSS THE SEA NOW!! AFTER 10 LONG YEARS, WE CAN FINALLY REUNITE WITH OUR FRIENDS!!!" Shelly the horse neighs happily, "HIHIIN!"

Tonjit throws his arms up, crying tears of joy. "THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS MIRACLE!!!" Luffy smiles broadly and waves, "THANK YOU!!!" Aokiji waves back lazily as he walks away. "ALRIGHT... WE'LL BE GOING NOW. OK. GOOD LUCK, OLD GUY AND HORSE. DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE BANDAGES, SHERRY." Tonjit calls out after him, "I REALLY CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH... IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU, I WOULD STILL BE STUCK UP THERE."

Tonjit and Shelly begin their journey across the frozen sea, pulling the cart. Tonjit waves back at the Straw Hats, yelling, "THANKS, AGAIN! I WON'T FORGET YOU GUYS!!?" The crew stands on the shore, waving goodbye. They call out, "BE CAREFUL!!!" "TAKE CARE!!" "DON'T PLAY WITH STILTS AGAIN!!!"

Luffy shivers, rubbing his arms. "WAH! SO COLD~! THIS IS GREAT. HAHA-HAHA. IT BECAME WINTER ALL OF A SUDDEN." Someone sneezes loudly, "HAA-CHUUU!!" Aokiji is sitting on the ground again, scratching his head. He looks at Luffy and says, "HOW SHOULD I SAY THIS... YOU AND YOUR GRANDFATHER ARE REALLY ALIKE, MONKEY D. LUFFY... IS IT OPEN-MINDED...? OR IS IT ABSENT-MINDED...!?" Luffy's eyes widen in shock as he stammers, "... WHAT?"

Luffy starts sweating profusely, his face contorted in panic. He stammers, "N... IT'S NOTHING JUST... UH... G... GRANDPA...!?" Usopp notices his reaction and asks, "EH? WHAT'S WRONG, LUFFY? WHY ARE YOU SWEATING SO MUCH? LUFFY'S GRANDPA!?" Aokiji, still sitting, says, "I DEALT WITH YOUR GRANDPA A LONG TIME AGO. EVEN THOUGH I ONLY CAME TO SEE NICO ROBIN..." A close-up of Aokiji's face shows a sudden, dark shift in his demeanor. His eyes narrow menacingly as he says, "MAYBE ALL OF YOU SHOULD... JUST DIE HERE AND NOW."
