In the streets of the town, a commotion erupts as a man with a net-like headband and curly hair stands calmly with both palms raised. "PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAY! DAMN IT!" someone yells from off-panel. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!I" another voice demands. "ARE YOU FREE TONIGHTI" a third asks. "OOOH! WHAT DO WE HAVE HEREI ANOTHER SEXY LADY!!" a fourth exclaims. The man replies firmly, "I TOLD YOU I AM ONLY HERE FOR A WALK. NO NEED FOR SO MUCH HOSTILITY." He adds to the group, "I TOLD YOU TO CHILL, KIDS... YOU ARE THE ONES WHO SHOULD LEARN TO LISTEN." Below, a woman with goggles points accusingly, "THERE'S NO WAY THAT SOMEONE LIKE HIM CAN BE A SUPREME ADMIRAL OF THE MARINE!!!" Another asks, "ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT MISTAKEN, ROBINI" The admiral responds, "HEY. HEY. DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR COVER." A sudden attack launches toward him with the sound effect "ずばっ!!!!" as he continues, "YOU'RE NOT MAKING ANY SENSE!!!" and "...I FORGOT. OH WELL. WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY IS THAT YOU GUYS ARE..."

Aokiji continues speaking casually while the Straw Hats react around him. "OH WELL... MY LEGS ARE TIRED FROM STANDING. TIME TO REST..." he says with a musical note. Someone retorts, "THEN WHY WERE YOU SLEEPING WHILE STANDINGI" A voice shouts, "I CAN SEE THAT!!" Other comments follow: "UPTIGHT WITH ABSOLUTE JUSTICE." "I ALWAYS UPHOLD THE MODEL OF..." Aokiji explains, "YOU'RE REALLY NOT HERE TO PICK FIGHTSI" The group discusses, "I THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE WITH YOU." "I'M ONLY HERE TO CONFIRM THE WHEREABOUTS OF NICO ROBIN AFTER THE ALABASTA INCIDENT..." "ANYWAYS, I DO NOT INTEND TO ARREST YOU... SO CHILL." A sound effect "ぐったり..." appears as someone notes, "HE JUST DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE 'SUPREME' ADMIRAL TO ME." In the lower panels, Aokiji lies back relaxed, saying, "TOO LAZY TO COUNTI" "IT'S ROUGHLY THE SAME AMOUNT." "--- TOO HARD TO COUNT." "ONE MORE PERSON WILL INCREASE IT BY..." Luffy thrashes wildly in the grip of his crewmates, shouting "LET GO OF ME!! LET ME GO!!" as they desperately restrain him. "HE'S A 'SUPREME' ADMIRAL FOR GOD'S SAKE!!" one yells. "DON'T START AN UNNECESSARY FIGHT!!" another pleads. "WAIT, LUFFY!! DON'T DO IT!!" Usopp cries out. Luffy's arm stretches back as he growls "GOMU GOMU...!!!" and declares "SO WHATI I STILL WON'T LET HIM TAKE ROBIN!!!" Robin stands nearby with a sweat drop, thinking silently. Aokiji, the tall man in the dark coat, raises a hand and states calmly, "I ALREADY SAID THAT I DON'T PLAN TO DO ANYTHING... YOU'RE MISTAKEN." Luffy is pulled back, still fuming. In the background, the old man with the net hat remarks, "BUT I OVER-HEARD SOMETHING WHILE I WAS NAPPING..." and adds "OKAY. OKAY. I'LL LEAVE..." Someone wonders, "WHY DOES IT FEEL LIKE LUFFY IS WINNING THE ARGUMENT...I" Aokiji tells Luffy, "YOU'RE OVER-REACTING..." while the old man points and shouts, "GO TAKE YOUR WALK ELSEWHERE!! YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!!"

Aokiji leans in close and orders, "PACK UP AND GET READY TO MOVE. I WASN'T IN A DEEP SLEEP SO I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID." The old man with the top hat reacts with "HMI" as Luffy stares at him and says "YOU..." The old man suddenly panics, pointing and yelling "HE'S FROM THE MARINES! THE MARINES!!!" Luffy shouts back, "NO. DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!!" A distant laugh echoes with the SFX "A HAH HAH". The scene shifts to a wide view of the massive circular building on the shore. Usopp panics, "THIS IS NO TIME FOR A JOKE!!" The old man explains, "NORMALLY THE MARINES ARE THE GOOD GUYS AND WE'RE THE BAD GUYS." Luffy replies with a straight face, "OH! THAT'S RIGHT. YOU CAN LISTEN TO HIM." The old man asks in disbelief, "WHY NOTI" while Aokiji glares intensely beside them.

Close-up on a round creature with spotted shell and a man with an afro and goggles as voices debate the plan. Luffy stares wide-eyed with a question mark above his head. From behind, a dark-haired woman in a coat states, "WITH HIS HELP, IT'S POSSIBLE." Luffy turns and answers, "IT'S TRUE..."

A wide view of the sea and distant tower shows narration: "THE TIDE WILL SUBSIDE ONCE A YEAR, AND A ROAD WILL APPEAR WHEN IT DOES, YESI" A flag flutters as someone says, "WE'RE HERE. OKAY." The horse neighs, "HIHIIN". On the beach the crew gathers around a large cylindrical object. Nami remarks, "NOW THEY'RE ACTING LIKE FRIENDS..." while others joke, "ARE YOU TRYING TO POISON US!I" "HERE... HAVE SOME CHEESE." "THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME." "IT SURE IS!! SO YOU'RE A NICE PERSON AFTER ALL!!" "IT SURE FEELS GOOD TO WORK OUT ONCE IN A WHILE." Laughter echoes, "<SFX> HAHAHAHAHA". Luffy, hand to his face, asks, "WHAT NOWI ARE YOU GOING TO PULL EVERYTHING ALONG WHILE YOU SWIM ACROSSI" The goggled man answers, "FOR A LITTLE BIT PLEASE..." "MOVE AWAY..." "NOW THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE..."

On the shore, Luffy stares ahead with a blank expression while Chopper and the others react in shock. A voice mutters, "CHYAPU..." Suddenly a massive sea king erupts from the waves with a thunderous <SFX> ZA BAH!!, jaws wide and dripping as it lunges toward the group. Luffy yells in panic, "WATCH OUT!!" and "GET AWAY FROM IT!!" as the beast snaps forward. Someone screams "GYAAAAA!!!" In the next instant Aokiji appears and declares "ICE AGE," instantly freezing the enormous creature solid. A terrified onlooker shouts, "AH!! IT'S THE SEA KING THAT LURKS AROUND HERE!!!"

The colossal sea king is completely encased in ice, its body shattering under the force of the freeze. Massive impact effects explode across the page with <SFX> GAKI----N!! and <SFX> DO NH!! as the frozen monster crashes down. The entire shoreline is blanketed in ice and snow while distant figures stare in stunned silence at the frozen beast.

Shocked faces fill the panels as the crew reacts in horror. "DEVIL FRUIT!!" someone yells. A woman with long dark hair explains, "ELEMENTAL CLASS.... THE FREEZING POWER OF THE 'HIE HIE FRUIT'." The sea rapidly freezes over with loud "ピキピキ...!!!" cracks. "FROZE OVER....!!! THE SEA..." reads the narration. A tall man in a dark coat walks away across the ice as "PAKI PAKI" and "SUITA..." sound effects echo. He says, "GOOD LUCK ON LOCATING YOUR VILLAGE. IT'S A LITTLE COLD BY THE WAY... YOU SHOULD WEAR MORE CLOTH-ING... THAT SHOULD HOLD FOR ABOUT A WEEK... YOU CAN TAKE YOUR TIME." The top-hatted man and companions watch him leave. In the distance the frozen sea stretches endlessly. "AFTER 10 LONG YEARS, WE CAN FINALLY REUNITE WITH OUR FRIENDS!!! SHERRY... WE CAN CROSS THE SEA NOW!!!" someone cheers. "THE SEA BECAME AN ICE LAND..." A close-up shows a wide-eyed face asking, "IS THIS A DREAM...I" as a horse whinnies "HIHIIN!" and sparkling ice effects cover the landscape.

On a rocky shoreline dotted with ancient ruins and a distant tower, a large bearded man in a top hat stands triumphantly with arms raised, shouting with joy. "FOR THIS MIRACLE!!!" "THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH" "THANK YOU!!!" Behind him, small figures gather near a damaged ship and scaffolding.
