The New Fishman Pirates' strongest fighters lie broken across the plaza. Hyouzou, Wadatsumi, Ikaros Much, Dosun, Zeo, and Daruma have all fallen, and Zoro stands calmly among the smoke with his swords lowered. Sanji sees the sky and warns, "Look out above!! Everybody, run for it!!!" The defeated pirates can hardly believe it: "All our incredible leaders...!!" and "...!! They barely even stood a chance..." Another cries, "Such strength!!!" but the victory changes nothing about the sky. The shadow of Noah still hangs over Fishman Island.
The fallen Wadatsumi starts to drop back down, and panic ripples across the plaza: "Wadatsumi's falling back down!!!" As the giant crashes from above, Jinbe snaps at Sanji, "Kick him a bit further next time, dumbass chef." Sanji fires back, "Shaddup!! You want me to drop him on your head this time?!" Chopper, still enormous in Monster Point, looks over the Franky Shogun and says, "You're pretty amazing, Sanji." Usopp praises the other side of the battle too: "Franky!! Your beam was the awesomest!!" Brook asks Chopper, "Chopper, shrink yourself down a bit, would you? You're making my giant robot look small!!" Robin dryly asks, "Was that robot actually good for anything?" while Franky asks Nami, "Nami-san, would you care to wear a miniskirt?" Nami answers, "No thanks."

The cheers collapse into fear when the people look up again. The plaza screams, "Aaaa aagghh hh!!" and someone shouts, "The whole island's gonna be crushed!!" The crowd tries to flee: "Run for it!! We can't get trapped in this plaza!!" and "Those crazy leaders are all out for the count!! Let's get outta here!!" A citizen cries, "Was it too much for even you?!! Straw Hat!!" while another asks, "Is it too late for us all?!!" Above them, Noah is almost upon the island, its vast broken hull filling the sky. The announcement is simple and terrible: "The Noah is almost here!!!"

The Straw Hats and the citizens look up as Noah bears down. Luffy continues inside the air bubble near the ship, battered and panting, while people below shout, "Luffy-san!!" Then his fists hammer Noah again and again. His face is fierce with strain and blood as he drives more blows into the ship's body, trying to destroy enough of it before it reaches Fishman Island.

The crowd begins to understand Luffy's plan. Someone says, "If he can really destroy the Noah, this island will be saved..." but another voice knows the cost: "But if he doesn't make it..." A warning explodes through the plaza: "Fishman Island will be destroyed!!!" Yet instead of running, people start shouting to Luffy. They cry, "Don't give in, Straw Hat!!" and "We won't run when a human like you is fighting for us!!!" Another declares, "We're staying right here where we are!!" The voices grow into a chorus: "We all believe in you!!!" "Don't give in, Straw Haaat!!!" "Fishman Island is in your hands!!" "Go for it, big bro Straw Haaat!!!" and finally, again and again, "Straw Hat...!!!"

The chant spreads across the plaza: "Straw Hat!!!" The citizens raise their arms toward the sky while Luffy, bleeding and panting, snarls at the ship itself: "Stop right there, stupid ship!!" He continues smashing Noah as everyone calls his name. Shirahoshi, watching his wounds open, realizes what his resolve means. She thinks, "Though it pains me to accept this, the safety of my people must come first..." and then, "The Noah must be destroyed...!! I'm sorry, father... this is the only way..." From somewhere deeper, the apology reaches a name older than the present crisis: "I must apologise... it seems that the promise can no longer be fulfilled... Joyboy..."

A sudden command tears through the darkness: "Stop!!!" Luffy's fist halts in shock, and he cries, "Ahh!!!" then, "Who's there?!!!!" Shirahoshi is frantic: "Luffy-sama!! Please, you must stop...!" She calls again, "Luffy-sama!" as enormous shapes move around Noah. Luffy, still panting, has no time to understand who has spoken, only that the order has come from something vast enough to reach him at the ship.

Shirahoshi catches Luffy in her arms and cries, "You must stop this at once!!!" Luffy protests, still focused on the island below: "Cry-Hoshi!!! Get out of the way!! If I don't destroy this ship, the island will be--!!!" Shirahoshi answers, "Aaah hhh!! No!! You don't have to do this!!!" Luffy snaps, "Of course I do!! What about all the people down there?!!!" But Shirahoshi looks upward and says only, "The Noah..." as the truth begins to settle around them.

The Sea Kings have arrived. Their enormous bodies crowd around Noah, chains and smoke curling around their heads as they hold the ship in place. Luffy is stunned, panting, and Shirahoshi gasps, "Uwaaaaahh!! Luffy-sama got angry with me...!!" then, "Hey!! This isn't the time for crying!!" She struggles to understand: "The Sea Kings!! But how...?" One voice answers what everyone is seeing: Noah "...has already stopped...!!!" The ship is no longer falling, and the crisis has shifted from destruction to wonder.

Shirahoshi sees Luffy up close and panics over his injuries: "Luffy-sama...!! Your wounds are wide open... you're covered in blood!" Luffy, exhausted, answers, "...All... all right then... I guess the ship has stopped..." and lets her hold him. The Sea Kings speak among themselves, acknowledging him: "Well, damn... that's quite some human..." and "A strong human indeed..." They know the timing mattered: "If we had arrived any later, the island may have been saved... but the Noah would have been shattered beyond repair...!!"

The Sea Kings explain why they came. One says, "Thank goodness we made it. Thank goodness Princess Shirahoshi... called us all here in time..." Shirahoshi is shocked: "?! What...?! I didn't do anything... I was just so sad...!!" The Sea Kings answer, "But you did. You got caught up in the Straw Hat boy's powerful emotions... and you made a wish." Down below, the citizens stare in disbelief: "What in the world...?" "What's going on...?!!" and "The Sea Kings have stopped the ship!!" The Sea Kings continue, "You wished that, just as he protects the island... you could have the strength to come to his aid. Our power is your power. We answered your call... and lent him our strength."

The news reaches the island all at once: "The Noah is stopped!!!" and "The Noah has not been destroyed!!!" Someone admits, "I really don't know how to explain what just happened...!! But one thing is for sure..." The enormous ship remains intact above the island, held away from disaster, and the people finally understand the result: "But Fishman Island is safe!!!!" The plaza erupts. Citizens cheer, cry, and throw their arms up while Shirahoshi cradles the unconscious Luffy and the Straw Hats look on. The chapter closes with relief spreading across Fishman Island: Noah has stopped, and the island has survived.

This page is an SBS question corner rather than chapter story. It opens with a reader pretending to predict Oda's words, "I WILL START THE SBS," then moves through joke questions about Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru, merchandise such as a New World Nami hugging pillow and Franky's arm, why Oda's avatar is a fish, and how many takoyaki servings a kraken would make. It is useful publication context but not part of the Fishman Island scene.
