Tashigi shouts, 'WHAT ABOUT THE STRAWHATS!I LAW!I AND SMOKER- THEY'RE ALL GOOD AND DEAD, RIGHT!I' while struggling to see inside a cage. A voice replies, 'AND I'M ALSO HAVING TROUBLE SEEING INSIDE THAT CAGE!!!' Vergo states, 'THERE ISN'T A SINGLE PLACE LEFT ON PUNK HAZARD WHERE LIFE COULD POSSIBLY EXIST!!!' as massive black impact effects and white beams tear across the snowy mountain landscape. Tashigi asks, 'WHAT DO YOU THINK, VERGO...I' Vergo answers, 'IS PROOF THAT THOSE GUYS IN THE CAGE GOT AWAY...!! THE FACT THAT WE CAN'T SEE G-5...' and adds, 'MY MARINES ARE A COLLECTION OF VIOLENT IDIOTS... THEY COULDN'T ESCAPE ALL ON THEIR OWN.' An enraged Marine yells, 'WHAT THE HELL, VERGO! ARE YOU SAYING THEY ESCAPED!I' Vergo continues, 'DEPENDING ON HIS OBJECTIVE, IT MAY BE THAT I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE CARE OF HIM PERSONALLY. AT ANY RATE, I CAN'T LET LAW GET AWAY...' Inside a facility, a voice declares, 'THIS IS "SHINOKUNI"'S DEBUT EXPERIMENT!!!' while others shout, 'WHY AREN'T WE SEEING THEIR SOLIDIFIED FORMS!I!' and 'WHY AREN'T G-5 GUYS IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ENTRANCE!!!' Vergo reacts with 'HMM M!!I BUT WAIT!!' as large SFX 'ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ' rumble across the devastated landscape.

In a vast control room lined with monitors, a figure pants heavily, "HAA... HAA..." A screen displays a map as narration states, "WITH THE PIRATE 'STRAWHAT LUFFY' LEADING THE CHARGE..." Distant figures react with shock: "!I MASTER!!" A spiky-haired man with a scar across his face erupts in fury, sweat flying, "HOW DID THEY GET THROUGH THAT IMPENETRABLE SHUTTER!!! HOW'D THEY GET OUT OF THAT CAGE!!!" Another panel shows him wide-eyed, "...!!! WHAT THE!!I THEY'RE INSIDE!!!" Beside him, a massive armored figure with a dragon-like helmet roars, "THE ENEMIES HAVE ALL INVADED THE LOBBY OF A-BLOCK!!! AND THEY'VE ALREADY STARTED TO MOVE DEEPER INTO THE LAB!!!" Below, a small armored figure with a horned helmet clutches its head, "R'R'R'R'R!!!" while a tall armored silhouette stands firm. A voice declares, "THEY SEEM TO BE SCHEMING TO ESCAPE VIA THE INNER PASSAGE!!!" A "WHOOSH!!" effect bursts as the armored figure adds, "WE HAVEN'T ESTABLISHED THAT, BUT IN ANY CASE, THEY'RE ALL...!!!"

A blonde woman in a "HAPPY" tank top stands in a corridor, thinking, "BUT WHERE SHOULD I GO NOWI" Small figures flee with "ぉぉ ぉぉ" and "きゃきゃきゃ" sounds. She continues, "AND NOW I UNDERSTAND THE COMPOSITION OF THE DRUG...!!! I'VE GOT A SEDATIVE, TOO...!!!" A thought bubble reads, "I DON'T KNOW WHO GAVE ME THIS NOTE, BUT I GUESS THEY WERE TRYING TO TELL ME THAT THEY COULD ESCAPE ON THEIR OWN...!!! THANK GOODNESS, IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE'S SAFE...!!!" In another area, a winged figure reports, "THERE ARE ONLY A FEW OF US GUARDS IN A-BLOCK NOW, SIR. THE MAIN SQUADRON IS PREPARING FOR BATTLE IN THE INNER BARRACKS OF B-BLOCK!!!" A spiky-haired man with a C on his coat snarls, "WHAT ARE MY SOLDIERS DOING!! BUT I WON'T LET THEM GET THERE...!!! CLOSE UP THE ACCESSWAY BETWEEN A AND B-BLOCK!!!" He grins viciously, "SO THEY'RE HOPING TO ESCAPE, HUH...!I THEN THEY'VE GOT TO BE HEADING FOR GATE 66 IN R-BLOCK...!!!"

Vergo's face fills a panel, teeth bared, "AND DESTROY THE OUTER WALL OF A-BLOCK SO THAT SHINOKUNI CAN FLOW IN!!!" A diagram of Caesar's Lab appears, labeled "LABORATORY 3 (CAESAR'S LAB)" with sections D, R, C, B, and A marked, showing "ISOLATE A-BLOCK!!!" and "SHUT THIS GATE, HERE" as a hand points to a control. Small figures labeled "SHINOKUNI" and "etc" appear near A-block. A subordinate protests, "EH... MASTER...!I WHO CARES, JUST DO IT!!! AND DON'T FORGET TO SET UP THE SURVEILLANCE DENDEN MUSHI" while another warns, "EH!I BUT IF WE DO THAT, THEN OUR OWN GUARDS WILL ALSO...!!!" Vergo declares, "I DON'T YET THINK THEY GRASP THE EXTENT OF MY SCIENTIFIC ABILITY!!! AS OF NOW WE'LL FIX UP THIS EXPERIMENT AND MAKE IT RIGHT FOR THE BROKERS"

Vergo stands tall in a long coat, arms crossed, as a voice accuses, "THE ONE WHO LET LAW AND SMOKER SLIP AWAY AND WHO LOST TRACK OF THEM IS YOU AND YOU ALONE, CAESAR!!" Monet clings nearby with wings spread, exclaiming, "I CAN'T LEAVE THIS IN YOUR HANDS...!!!" Vergo replies calmly, "AT BEST, ALL YOU'LL CATCH WITH THAT TRAP ARE SOME SMALL FRIES. HMMI PLANNING TO DO SOMETHING, VERGO...!I" A close-up shows Vergo's stern face, "WELL, I'LL BE BACK AFTER CRUSHING THOSE BRATS...!!!" Monet responds, "RIGHT. I WAS NEVER A SWORDSMAN, ARE YOU..." A small panel shows her surprised, "HMMI THAT'S STRANGE. I CAN'T FIND MY SWORD...!!!" Vergo finishes, "YOU'RE NOT A SWORDSMAN, ARE YOU... I'LL CUT THEM ALL TO RIBBONS...!!!"

Luffy glares upward with wide eyes. "THOSE AREN'T ANIMAL LEGS...!!!" a voice cries. "I'VE GOT NO RESPECT FOR YOU!!" The towering gatekeeper pirate swings his massive machete and roars, "I'M THE GATEKEEPER TO B-BLOCK, FORMER PIRATE 'MACHETE ROON'". "IN THE NAME OF OUR BELOVED SCIENTIST, MASTER CAESAR..." he continues. "I WON'T LET YOU THROUGH, 'STRAWHAT'!! 'GUAHOAHOAHOAHOAHOA!!'" A small inset notes the inside of the lab: A-BLOCK. The brutal clash erupts as Luffy is struck with a thunderous "KUMA!!!" impact. "WHAT SORT OF '-TAUR' ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE...!!!" the gatekeeper howls amid flying debris and motion lines.

Luffy's face twists in surprise. "HUHI" he blurts. Above him, panicked figures tumble down stairs amid explosions and smoke. "GYAH HI!!" "OUTTA MY WAY!!!" they scream. The massive doorway between A-BLOCK and B-BLOCK slams shut with heavy mechanical force. "ACCESSWAY BETWEEN A AND B-BLOCK" is labeled above the striped barrier marked OPEN and CLOSE. Bodies and debris are hurled backward as the gate seals. "WHAT A GIANT PASSAGE!!!" someone yells amid the chaos. Warning beeps echo: "*BEEP* *BEEP*" "BEEP!!" "BEEP!!" "CLOSE" flashes on the control panel.

Beeps continue to sound throughout the facility: "*BEEP!!" "*BEEP*!!" "*POP*". A lone figure in a long coat stands in the distance. Law bursts into the scene, coat flaring. "LAW!! WHAT'S THIS BUZZER ABOUT!I" he demands. A close-up shows his intense expression. "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING..." he mutters. Trafalgar Law stands firm and replies, "THEY'RE TRYING TO SHUT US OUT... YOU SHOULD QUICKLY MOVE YOUR MEN FARTHER INSIDE. THERE'S ONLY ONE ROUTE TO THE NEXT AREA, B-BLOCK. IT'S A WARNING THAT THE GATE TO THIS BLOCK IS CLOSING."

A stern blond man growls, "THERE'S NOWHERE TO RUN!! THERE'S NO WAY WE'LL LET YOU ESCAPE FROM RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES!! 'STRAWHAT' CREW!!" G-5 marines brandish weapons in the background. "HERE WE GO...!!" someone shouts. A massive panel erupts with the cry "OUT OF OUR WAY!!!" Luffy charges forward through shattering debris. Marines yell "SO COLD!!" "THAT HURTS!!" "HOT, HOT!!" as chaos engulfs the corridor. An inset labels the location: INSIDE A-BLOCK: NEAR THE ENTRANCE, with a map showing blocks D, C, B, A.

Brownbeard carries a group of allies on the back of a massive, sedated dragon-like creature through the chaotic lab area. A voice calls out, "SORRY BROWNBEARD, BUT COULD YOU CARRY US A BIT FARTHERI" Someone laughs, "YOHO HOHO," while another shouts, "UOHHH!! WE SURE CAN COUNT ON THEM, THOSE THREE MUSKETEERS!!" The dragon growls, "GRRRRRR..." Brownbeard explains, "IT'S NOT FLYING NOW BECAUSE IT'S BEEN SEDATED," and adds, "BUT I DON'T THINK BRINGING IT INTO THE LAB WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA." G-5 marines react with panic and determination: "YEAH THAT'S FINE, BUT WHY'D YOU BRING THAT DRAGON WITH YOU!!! HAA... HAA..." and "WE THOUGHT THAT IF WE CAUGHT IT WE COULD FLY AWAY FROM THE GAS, BUT..." One marine declares, "THIS IS A RARE CHANCE!! WE'VE GOT TO STOP THEM!!!" Another responds, "IT'LL BE MY PLEASURE!!!" A woman with a ponytail stares at the dragon and says, "IT'S DANGEROUS!I" while thinking, "BUT IT'S MAKING SUCH A CUTE FACE..."

A fierce clash erupts as a swordswoman with glasses leaps into action against a swordsman. The swordsman warns, "I'VE ALREADY WARNED YOU," followed by a sharp "WHIP!!" sound. She replies, "EHHH... PLEASE GO ON AHEAD!!" while another voice growls, "SO YOU'VE BECOME A CAPTAIN THEN, YOU CON-WOMAN," and taunts, "BUT YOU'VE GOT NO FIGHTING SPIRIT...!!!" G-5 marines in the background yell in shock. The swordswoman urges, "PLEASE HURRY UP AND HEAD FOR THE INNER PASSAGE!!" A large marine captain shouts, "G-5!!! THIS IS NO TIME TO BE FIGHTING!!" as the group presses forward amid flying debris and impact lines.

Alarms blare with "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" as signs flash "SECTION B." A marine yells, "THE ONLY GATE OUT OF THIS AREA IS CLOSING!!" Tashigi warns, "WE WON'T BE ABLE TO ESCAPE PUNK HAZARD!!! NOW HURRY ON!!!" and "IF WE DON'T MAKE IT THROUGH THAT GATE..." Another marine shouts, "IS CAESAR TRYING TO TRAP US IN HERE!!" The group rushes toward the closing gate. Tashigi orders, "CARRY THE WOUNDED!!" while a marine captain bellows, "LET'S MAKE A BEELINE FOR THE GATE!!!" and "DO AS TASHIGI-CHAN SAID!!" Others cry, "THIS IS BAD!!! HURRY UP YOU BASTARDS!!!"

Brownbeard charges forward on the dragon as allies urge him on: "HANG IN THERE BROWNBEARD-CHI! MAKE A DASH FOR IT!!" Someone asks, "DID YOU HEAR THAT!I THE SITUATION NOWI" Luffy's voice is referenced as having asked about the situation. Robin appears, prompting, "UOH, ROBIN, WHEN DID YOU GET HEREI" Brownbeard laughs, "HAA, HAA... IT'S NO GOOD, THIS IS AS FAST AS I CAN GO!!!" Kin'emon declares, "WELL I'M NOT A SAMURAI, SO I'LL SAY IT... I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!!" while complaining, "WE'RE DOING NOTHING BUT RUNNING, THAT WE ARE!!" The gate continues closing with cries of "IT'S ALMOST COMPLETELY CLOSED!!!" and "HURRY, HURRY!!" Marines question, "COULD IT BE!I HAS HE BETRAYED MASTER!I" and "HEY, WHY IS BROWNBEARD WITH THE PIRATES!I"

The outer wall of A-Block of Laboratory 3 is struck as a massive experimental cannonball is fired. "OUTER WALL OF A-BLOCK OF LABORATORY 3!!" "AIMING!!" "EXPERIMENTAL-USE CANNON-BALL, STANDING BY!!!" "OUTSIDE THE LAB" The blast rocks the structure with a loud "SHIFT!!" Inside, G-5 Marines are hurled through the air by the explosion. "UWAAH HHHHH HHHH!!" Debris flies everywhere. Below, a large cloud of gas begins to rise. "*FLOAT FLOAT*" "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!" Tashigi stares in horror as the wall collapses. "THE WALL BROKE!! OH GOD... NO..." "EHH...."

Panic erupts as the killer gas floods the area. "THAT KILLER GAS IS COMING INSIDE!!!" Marines scream and flee. "RUN!! RUN!!" "IF WE DON'T MAKE IT, WE'RE AS GOOD AS DEAD!!!" "INTO THE GATE!!" Several soldiers are caught in the gas cloud, crying out. "HEY!!" "AAA AAA!!..." "HELP M..." "GYAH HHHH HH!!" The massive gate labeled "SECTION" looms ahead as the survivors rush toward it.

Tashigi is hurled through the air and crashes into the gate area. "MADE IT!!" "OOF...!!" Marines react in shock. "AND THERE'S NO WAY BACK OUT IS ALREADY....!!" "CAPTAIN-CHAN, HOW DID YOU FLY IN LIKE THAT!I DID SOMEONE THROW YOU!I AND SO VIOLENTLY!!" Tashigi, breathing heavily, demands passage. "HAA... HAA... PLEASE GET OUT OF MY WAY. THERE ARE STILL A NUMBER OF MARINES OUT THERE!!!!" "WOAH!!" "EH!!!I CAPTAIN-CHAN CAME FLYING THROUGH!!!"

Marines celebrate Tashigi's arrival. "WELL DONE, YOU GUYS!!! WE'VE RECEIVED OUR PRECIOUS CAPTAIN-CHAN, SAFE AND SOUND!!!" Tashigi refuses to abandon the others. "SAVING THEM IS IMPOSSIBLE!! CAPTAIN TASHIGI!!!" "DON'T BE STUPID!!! YOUR COMRADES ARE STILL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GATE!! PLEASE GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" "....!! CAPTAIN-CHAN, IT'S NO GOOD!! IT'S TOO LATE!!" A towering masked figure looms over the scene, declaring, "YOU'RE A REAL BUNCH OF SURVIVORS, BUT I WON'T LET ANYONE ESCAPE!!!" "SHURARA RARORARO RO!!! YOU SCUM!!!" "SHURA RARA..."
