The Birdcage closes in with only three minutes before it reaches the central district. The people scream, "Run!" while someone warns that its contraction speed is increasing and that the fateful moment is drawing near. The fighters realize the country will be carved up like a Christmas turkey before Luffy can recover. Since they have no other choice, the Colosseum fighters rally themselves to take down Doflamingo and the Birdcage along with him, shouting that they must try to do something themselves.

Doflamingo watches the fighters' efforts and calls them thick-headed idiots. He says, "This is me asking politely. Bring me Straw Hat... now..." The scene cuts to Luffy, Gats, and Law as chaos continues around them. Gats notes that there are still three and a half minutes until Luffy's recovery, but in that time they are going to suffer countless casualties. Luffy understands the problem but refuses to hand Gats over to a contender who cannot fight in the ring, insisting he will not hand the boy over.

Trafalgar Law appears with Luffy and is surprised that people thought he was running away. Luffy, battered and drained, says, "T-T-T-T-Trafalgar Law! The Hiti-Hiti-Buka..." Law asks if Luffy really thinks his Haki is going to come back. Luffy explains that he was told he needed ten minutes, which means they have three minutes and twenty seconds left. Law says he will take Luffy, since every last second counts in a fight like this. Luffy answers that it has been a while since Law babysat him and tells him to leave him with Gats.

In Southeast Town, Sevill, Bartolomeo prepares to help slow the Birdcage. He shouts, "Ready? Here we go, ladies and germs!" and promises that his barrier will not get cut. The fighters shout to follow Zoro-senpai's lead and push against the closing cage. Zoro, Bartolomeo, Cavendish, and other recovered fighters brace themselves against the threads. The resistance spreads from person to person as they try to buy the last few minutes that Luffy needs.

Chopper explains the healing seeds drifting through Dressrosa: "Dande-healion," a pun on dandelion and heal. He says they are the flowers that bloom from Princess Mansherry's tears. Across the city, the seeds float down and people suddenly regain enough strength to move. A man who had sprained his ankle wonders why he can walk again, while others hurry to escape the cage. Someone sees a man hauling himself along and asks how he turned into a sprinter. Chopper calls for everyone to do their best as the healing takes effect.

Cub explains that the seeds of the Dande-healions can bring miraculous "super healing" to people within a wide area because Princess Mansherry, saddened by the wounds her beloved Dressrosa has suffered, is crying continuously. He believes they will be able to save many lives, but the power has a major drawback: the super healing lasts only a few minutes. Once the time limit expires, everyone returns to their original injured state. This is only a life-support measure to help them survive the current crisis.

Citizens call the healing a miracle and say the pain has suddenly disappeared. Across Dressrosa, the wounded rise and push themselves forward again. Mansherry tells Cub, "This is how I fight!" She says she cannot use weapons and cannot beat up the bad guys, but her tears will not stop. Cub replies that this gracious fighting style suits her. Mansherry's resolve gives the country a way to keep moving, even if only for a few critical minutes.

The healed fighters begin coordinating. Hajrudin speaks to the crowd, and when someone questions his criminal record, he shouts for silence and tells the heathens to believe in his friends rather than anger the god any further. He directs those with strength to go to the eastern and western edges of the city, where others are pushing the Birdcage. Meanwhile, Rebecca keeps running and realizes that if the Birdcage truly cannot be moved, then she must find another way to protect everyone.

Rebecca decides that when the time comes, she too must act. She says she will not let all their efforts and actions be in vain by ending everything that way, with Doflamingo. She moves toward Doflamingo, but Viola intercepts her and calls out, "Rebecca! Why are you here? Don't you dare get any funny ideas!" Viola tells Rebecca that if she lets her get killed here, she could not possibly face Brother Kyros or her sister. Doflamingo asks Viola what she has come to do.

Viola says she has heard that the Donquixote Family is all but finished and asks why she, who used to be an executive, does not get a chance to get what is coming to her. She calls the timing convenient. Doflamingo remembers that Viola was always passionate and calls her Violet. Viola draws a blade and declares, "One of us dies today!" As they face each other, people in the central district beg to be let in because the Birdcage is closing in. Guards worry that everyone from around the country is gathering in this part of the city and that it is dangerous outside.

At the Northwest Smile Factory, the Birdcage presses against the factory and the fighters shout, "Roger, Fraland!" The factory is not enough by itself; it is only being pushed along with the cage. Zoro and the others keep pushing, shouting that they have to stop it. Beyond the factory, in front of the cage, people strain with a long "Puuuuuush!" Even though the factory's seastone shell resists the threads, the entire mass is still moving, forcing everyone to keep adding strength.

The contraction begins to slow down slightly, and someone asks, "How's that?!" Fujitora observes that now it has been mentioned, he can perceive something similar. Zoro notices the change as well. When Fujitora appears behind him, Zoro asks why he is there. Fujitora answers that he cannot really leave the insane alone to their own devices, and although he may not have much strength left in his old bones, he asks for the honor of assisting. He joins the line against the Birdcage with Zoro.

The call for help spreads. Fighters urge everyone to work together instead of letting Doflamingo cut them all up. Marines arrive as well, ordering all units to support the cage pushing, no matter who they are. Those who can use Haki are sent to the Birdcage, while those who cannot are sent to the factory. The people decide that at the very least they should help protect their own country. Even civilians ask to help push, and the crowd, Marines, pirates, and warriors all throw their strength into slowing the cage.

For a moment, the massive effort seems to succeed. The Birdcage slows and even stops for a second, stunning the people watching from the city. But then the threads creak and begin moving again. Doflamingo, panting and amused, laughs, "Hehe..." His power has not been fully stopped, only delayed. The page shows the city still trapped under the descending cage, with the factory and the fighters straining beneath it.

The fighters realize the Birdcage can really be stopped, even if only briefly. Someone shouts, "Don't let up! Keep pushing! We gotta buy as much time as we can!" because if it contracts any more, plenty of lives will be lost. The cage is slowed, but only one minute remains until Luffy's recovery. On another front, people ask whether everything is okay and how long until Luffy is back on his feet, while Rebecca cries out for Viola. The chapter ends with everyone waiting for Luffy, hand in hand, having bought him one last minute.
