Explosions rock the city. Massive blasts erupt with “ドゴン…”, “ゴゴゴゴゴゴ…”, and “ダラダラダラ”. Luffy stares in shock, shouting, “What's going on here…!I” A massive impact sends debris flying as someone yells “WHOA”. The ground shakes violently with “ドゴォオオ…!!” while a voice cries, “The whole place is falling apart!”

A wide view of the city skyline appears under dramatic impact lines. Crocodile stands with a hook raised, declaring, “I can't think of any other possible place!” His bandaged opponent retorts, “You really think it's in there!I” On a clock tower, Usopp shouts, “W-wait up, Vivi!” and “I'm going on ahead, Usopp!” while another figure says, “Alright! Let me write a message for the others when they get here!” Vivi urges, “Hurry then!” as small “トSC” sound effects mark the ticking clock.

Baroque Works agents burst in with triumphant cries: “KAHAHA! THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW WHERE YOU WERE!” and “YEEHAW! WE FOUND THE PRINCESS!” Usopp’s signal flare explodes overhead. Vivi gasps, “That's Usopp's signal!” and “Oh no, it's the B.W. again!” as an agent yells, “GAHH! We ended up calling the enemies too!” and “And since when was the palace so far away!I” Usopp screams “USOOOOOPP-” while riding a fast-moving figure. A voice wonders, “I wonder if they found the place!I” and another answers, “Good, it's close by!”

Chaos erupts inside the ruined building as a massive brawl breaks out. A large man in a black tank top marked "LA ROQUE" roars amid flying debris and panicked figures. Screams fill the air: "GAA AAH HHH!", "STOP!", "AHHH!". Overhead, "SCREECH!", "NOISE!", and frantic Japanese sound effects dominate the panel. A small masked figure on the left yells in terror. In the lower sequence, agents scramble after fleeing targets. "AFTER THEM!" one shouts. "They're getting away!" another cries. A bandaged man stammers "I... R-right!" as a voice commands "NOW, VIVI!!" while impact lines and motion effects show the desperate pursuit.

A massive explosion erupts with the giant onomatopoeia "ドゴォン!!!" and smoke filling the upper panel. Below, Luffy stands amid rubble, breathing heavily with "HUFF" sound effects around him. He faces Crocodile, who emerges from the dust with a menacing glare. Crocodile's close-up shows narrowed eyes and the line "YOU AGAINI" Luffy's determined stance and Crocodile's coat and hook are visible as tension builds between them.

Luffy and Crocodile confront each other in the destroyed hall. Crocodile speaks first: "STRAW HAT!I WELL, Why must you come after me again and again no matter how many times I kill youI" and "How... Are you still aliveI I've cornered you now, Croc...!" Luffy, bloodied and on the ground, mutters "STRAW HAT..." Crocodile's hand twitches as he asks "How did he..." Luffy rises, replying "The thing you've stolen... You still haven't returned..." Crocodile roars back, "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KILL YOU BEFORE YOU'RE SATISFIED!I"

Crocodile laughs mockingly, "Kuhahaha! What is it you want backI I've stolen so many things, you see. Or perhaps the rain!I Trust...I Is it lifeI MoneyI Fame...I The thing I stole...I" Luffy, face bloodied and intense, shouts "THE COUNTRY!" Crocodile reacts with surprise, "Country!I You're an odd fellow..." and declares, "I'm only about to steal the country now... By becoming its new king...!" while Luffy stands ready amid the rubble.

Luffy stands with his back to the viewer amid the ruined royal palace, rubble and broken pillars everywhere. A voice declares, "Her country was nowhere to be found!" Another replies, "No, when I came here, it was already stolen!" A small question mark floats near Luffy. Flashbacks show the once-lush town: "IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE WHILE AGO THAT THIS WAS A LIVELY TOWN FULL OF PLANT LIFE." The princess, face streaked with tears, pleads, "I HAVE TO PERSUADE THE REBELS, THERE CAN'T BE ANY NEEDLESS BLOODSHED!" She runs desperately with a weapon in hand as someone shouts "HURRY!" Luffy, wide-eyed and furious, confronts her: "WHAT'S WRONG WITH NOT WANTING PEOPLE TO DIE!I" and "If this were really her country..." The princess cries out, "PLEASE, PRINCESS... YOU HAVE TO STOP THOSE FOOLISH REBELS!"

Close-ups show Luffy's enraged face and the hooded figure's sweating, determined expression. The hooded man declares, "THEN SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SMILE A LOT MORE!" He delivers a powerful punch, impact lines and debris flying as a small figure tumbles away. Below, the hooded man continues, "What can you even accomplish without any water..." while a massive "ドゴォン!!!" echoes and another man reacts with shock, "!!!"

Crocodile's massive hook slams into Luffy's face in a brutal close-up, blood spraying and impact effects exploding outward with a huge "ゴゴォオ" SFX. Luffy is hurled backward. In a side panel, a small mushroom-shaped figure labeled "STEP" stands amid debris as more impact lines and "ガァン" SFX fill the air.

Vivi screams in anguish, "THEN ALABASTA COULD HAVE BEEN IN PEACE!" and "IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU..." Crocodile smirks, replying, "WHAT THE... HOW CAN HE KICK ME WITHOUT ANY WATER...I" while thinking "...I" In the background, rebels clash violently as Vivi cries, "IS WHAT WILL DESTROY IT IN THE END...!I" Crocodile taunts, "DOESN'T THAT BRING A TEAR TO YOUR EYEI THE VERY LOVE FOR THEIR COUNTRY," with a laugh "HAHAHA..." Luffy lunges forward desperately, shouting "WAI-" and "CROCO-DIIIILE!" as Crocodile's hook strikes again.

Luffy lunges forward and drives a powerful punch into the massive black form of Crocodile. The strike connects with a heavy impact, scattering debris and black particles. In the next instant Crocodile counters violently; Luffy is hurled backward through the air, body twisting from the force of the blow. Large onomatopoeia explode across the panel: ドゴォン オン ドゴォン オン. Luffy’s bandaged torso and determined face are visible mid-flight as the desert ground rushes up beneath him.

A massive explosion erupts, sending Luffy flying through clouds of sand and shattered stone while Crocodile’s body is flung in the opposite direction. Crocodile crashes down hard, slumping forward with a pained “KU… HA…!” and a large “SLUMP” effect. Blood drips from his wounds in close-up panels. Voices react in shock: “YOU USED YOUR BLOOD!I” “It… It can’t be…” “It…” The dripping blood continues to fall as the realization spreads.

Luffy stands with bloodied fingers raised, grinning fiercely as he declares, “BLOOD WORKS JUST AS WELL IN CLUMPING UP YOUR SAND, RIGHT!I” Crocodile, face twisted, laughs through gritted teeth: “KU… HAHAHA!” and “HA… HAHA…” In the lower panels Crocodile’s massive form looms over Luffy, growling, “LET ME REWARD YOUR PERSISTENCE IN CHALLENGING ME A THIRD TIME EVEN AFTER TWICE TASTING HELL…!” Luffy stares upward in the ruined underground crypt beneath Rainbase as Crocodile continues, “RAINBASE… THE PALACE… AND NOW THIS UNDERGROUND CRYPT… SO BE IT…”

Crocodile’s massive hook arm swings down in a deadly arc. Luffy dodges with a desperate “NGHH-” and “DODGE”. A metallic “CLINK!” sounds as Crocodile locks a new weapon into place. He snarls, “I WILL TREAT YOU AS A REAL PIRATE…” Luffy’s eyes widen in alarm: “But what is itI” “He took it off…” “A POISON-HOOK.” Crocodile’s voice echoes, “It seems you’re set on beating me no matter what. So I shall acknowledge you as a troublesome enemy.” The poison-dripping hook gleams as the fight intensifies.

In the collapsing underground chamber, a heavily scarred man with stitches across his face glares at Luffy and declares, "There is no fair nor unfair! Once the explosion occurs on the surface, it'll likely cause this place to collapse in on itself." He continues, "Amongst pirates, fights are all about who dies and who lives." Luffy stares back in shock, muttering, "Oh." The scarred man then shouts, "LET US SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL! THIS IS THE END." Massive explosions erupt around them with debris flying and the structure crumbling as Luffy leaps forward amid the chaos and the large onomatopoeia "ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ" shakes the page.

On a chaotic city street, a cloaked man points and yells, "Look! It's Roronoa Zoro!" Another figure reacts with "HuhI" as sound effects "アアアア" ring out. Nearby, a spiky-haired man growls, "That's what I should be asking you. JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!I WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE!I" while another snaps, "I haven't got any time to waste...! Damn it, even the marines are here..." A shocked man exclaims "WHAAAI" as a boy turns and asks, "Who, meI" In the background, cloaked figures stand over fallen bodies while voices shout, "WHAT'RE YOU, AN IDIOT!I TURN BACK AND HEAD RIGHT! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY! GO BACK TO THAT CORNER AND TURN NORTH TO GET TO THE PALACE SQUARE!"

Explosions and impacts "ドサ..ドサ..!!" and "ギャアアア!" erupt near a large cannon labeled "BAROQUE" as figures clash. Usopp, bloodied and wide-eyed, stammers, "Uhh... Th... Thanks...I I guessI" while a long-haired figure points and urges, "Quickly, Usopp!" In the next panel a short-haired woman with a headband grips weapons and shouts, "We'll back you up! So just hurry up and stop the bombing!" as background allies in cloaks fire and move into position amid the smoke and debris.
