The dwarves are startled to see their supposed hero frightened: "Eh!? The hero is flustered!!" Usopp immediately turns cowardice into performance. He claims, "Well... the thing is... that shaking just now was actually my Haki!!" The dwarves accept the lie with complete faith, connecting it to the legend they have heard: "Haki!? The technique with which you defeated 50,000 foes at Fishman Island!? That's our hero!!" Usopp's false identity as Usoland grows stronger with every lie.

The Tontatta Kingdom welcomes Usopp and Robin with food, treating Usopp as the great Usoland. The dwarves explain that the meat is "Fighting Fish," a relative of the giant goldfish, and it is so large that it will feed everyone in the kingdom for months. Usopp realizes with alarm that these tiny people really caught the fighting fish from earlier and wonders how insanely powerful they are. Gancho even says that one member of their Usolanders squad, Luffyland, could eat it all in one bite. Then Robin notices a familiar statue and directs Usopp's attention to it, connecting it to the picture book they saw on Jaya.

Robin identifies the statue: "That statue... is it of Montblanc Noland!?" Gancho confirms it. He explains that Noland was a big human botanist who visited the country 400 years ago. At that time, the Tontatta ancestors were suffering because bad big humans were wrecking their island, and Noland appeared, fought those enemies, and led the dwarves to victory as the legendary hero of Tontatta. Leo proudly points to his chestnut-shaped head as proof of his lineage, insisting that this connection is real. Usopp has exploited the story by claiming descent from Noland, and the dwarves were moved when he guessed the name and explained his supposed bloodline. Robin quietly judges him: "You're really a bad person..." Usopp answers that she is welcome, since the lie saved her too and earned them food, souvenirs, and a way onward. Gancho calls it fate.

Gancho and the Tontatta declare that 400 years have passed and that on this very day they have sworn to bring their war with Doflamingo to an end. To them, another legendary hero has appeared at the fated moment. Usopp only manages a confused "Hmm?" before the dwarves explain the plan. As soon as he is done eating, they will take the underground passage and head for the Flower Fields. There, on the fated final battlefield of Dressrosa, the commander of the Riku Royal Fighters and his men are waiting. The Tontatta will crush Donquixote Doflamingo, and with Usoland backing them up, they believe they will be unbeatable. They beg Usopp to take the lead and guide them into battle.
