Buster Call

A hand drops numbered keys: “NUMBER 5.”, “NO!!”, “NUMBER 1… NUMBER 3…”, “NUMBER 4…”. Keys clatter with “チャリン…”. A woman in a dark outfit and high heels slams a large man’s hand down, locking the cuff with “CLACK!!”. She shouts “They’re off!!!”. The man yells in pain. Close-ups show the woman’s determined face and the man’s shocked expression. She gasps “HAA…”, stares in disbelief, and says “I-IT’S THE REAL KEY!!I” while the man protests “NO WAY~!!!”.

The large man in a Hawaiian shirt struggles, shouting “NO WAY…!!!” and “HEY, PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER.” A voice replies “… YOU MEAN,”. Marines react in panic: “NO, IMPOSSIBLE!!! I BET YOU SOMEHOW STOLE THE KEYS AND RAN!! DAMN IT!!!” and “YOU DEFEATED ALL THE MEMBERS OF CP9 IN THE TOWER OF JUSTICE!!I”. A massive gate opens with the text “NICO ROBIN’S HAND-CUFFS!!!” and “I UNLOCKED”. Franky and a long-nosed man stand below; the long-nosed man yells “THIS IS FRANKY!!” and “HEY, NAGAPPANA*!!” (*Long nose).

Close-ups show a spiky-haired man grinning fiercely, a masked figure with a long nose, and a bloodied blond man shouting "ALL RIGHT!!!" In the next tier, a dark-haired woman points at herself and declares, "YOU ARE TRULY LUFFY AND THE OTHERS' NAKAMA!!" A masked man replies, "IF YOU'RE TO EXPRESS YOUR GRATITUDE, DO IT LATER, TO EVERYONE WHO WORKED HARD TO COLLECT THE KEYS." She answers, "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!!" From afar, the woman calls "THANK YOU!!" while a large man with a fur collar shouts "NAGA-HANA-KUN," The woman extends her arms and activates "SEIS FLEUR." The masked man reacts in shock: "EH!I" "WHAT!I" as multiple arms sprout around him with the sound "NOKOKI..." In the distance, the woman stands before a massive gate and answers "YES." while impact lines and "Lルっ..." mark the technique's effect.

A massive slap strikes the masked man with "SLAP!!!" and "HOGEY!!!" sending him flying amid impact stars and debris as distant figures watch. The woman states, "I WON'T... HOLD BACK!!" Nearby, a blond man in a cowboy hat yells, "OKAY!! GUYS, COME OVER HERE, QUICK!!" while another calls "I'LL PREPARE THE ESCAPE. CHIEF, SIR!!!" A small bird flies past with "!" and "I HEARD SOMETHING JUST NOW." Below, the masked man lies sprawled as someone shouts "CATCH HER AGAIN!!!" Another voice cries, "NO!! THE CRIMINAL'S KAIROUSEKI HANDCUFFS ARE OFF!!" A figure on a ledge says "ROGER." and orders "HURRY AND COME DOWN, SOGEKING!!"

A colossal explosion erupts from the sea near the city with the massive onomatopoeia "ボキャマーン!!!" sending smoke, water, and debris flying as a voice reacts "!!I" In the lower panels, armed Marines raise rifles in alarm. One shouts "....!!!" Another exclaims "WHAT!I" while a third mutters "EH...I" The masked man and a curly-haired figure stare in shock at the blast.

Explosions rock the island as narration reads "BOMBARDMENT FROM THE WARSHIPS...!!I" with the sound "わあああああ" A figure yells "THE FENCE...!!!" while another cries "CAN'T BE!!" as a masked man is blasted into the air. On a cliff, two silhouettes stand amid smoke; one states, "IF THERE ARE MANY WARSHIPS COMING THIS WAY TO RAZE THE ISLAND WITH A FIRESTORM OF BOMBS..." Another replies, "THAT WAS A HUGE-ASS EXPLOSION!!" and "THE FENCE AROUND THE ISLAND IS BROKEN....!!" Further panels show the central tower and gates with the text "THE HUGE GATES BLOCKING THE CURRENT WERE CREATING THOSE WHIRLPOOLS." A voice notes, "IT'S ALL BECAUSE THE GATES OF JUSTICE WERE FULLY OPEN FOR THE ATTACK...!!!" and "THOSE SHIPS WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET IN, BUT THEY'RE ALL GONE NOW." The final caption reads, "UP UNTIL A MINUTE AGO, THERE WERE WHIRLPOOLS."

Marines stare in horror at the unfolding disaster. "THAT'S INSANE..." one gasps. Another yells urgently, "THIS IS URGENT!!! JUMP DOWN FROM THERE!!!" as Soge-king is spotted. A massive explosion rocks the Tower of Justice, sending debris flying with a thunderous "DON" impact. "!!I" Reactions ripple across the scene. Below, frantic voices cry out "USOPP!!!" while others shout "THE TOWER OF JUSTICE!!!" and "UWOOO!!!" as the structure crumbles under bombardment.

Marines watch anxiously from afar. "I WONDER IF THEY'RE OKAY!!!" one mutters. "LOOK!! IT HIT THE TOWER OF JUSTICE THIS TIME!!!" another exclaims. The bombardment intensifies with a massive "うわあああああ" roar. "THIS IS A BOMBARDMENT!!!" a Marine shouts. "I KNEW IT...!!! THAT WASN'T JUST A NORMAL EXPLOSION EARLIER, EITHER!!" Another orders, "HURRY AND GET OFF THE ISLAND!!!" Further blasts tear apart the Tower of Justice with "ドゴッ...!!" and "ガララ..." sounds as chunks collapse into the sea.

A bloodied figure plummets through smoke, muttering "EHI POF" as debris rains down with "ドドドドド..." impacts. On the rocky shore, two figures stand amid rising smoke. "HEY... TELL ME THIS ISN'T TRUE..." one says. Distant explosions continue with "ガララ" and cross-shaped flashes. Suddenly a massive blast erupts near the pair with "ズゴォォン!!!" A close-up reveals Usopp's face twisted in panic as he screams "HEY!!! USOPP~~~~!!!"

Franky leaps into action. "WE'LL HEAD OVER THERE NOW!!" Robin calls. "FRANKY, ROBIN-CHAN, WE'RE SAFE HERE!!" someone replies. "DON'T YOU HAVE THE KINDNESS TO CATCH THE HERO WHO RISKED HIS LIFE AND JUMPED OFF OF THE ROOF!!I" a voice demands as a figure is caught mid-fall with a "ズゴッ" impact. "YOU'RE ALIVE, DAMN IT!" Sanji shouts. "CATCH THEM BEFORE THE BOMBARDMENT GETS SERIOUS!!!" Marines yell "YES, SIR!!!" Nami asks, "CAN I COUNT ON YOUR FIGHTING POWER!I" "OF COURSE." The group prepares to move. "GO~~~!!!" Usopp urges. Nami wonders about the convoy on the bridge as the escape plan forms.

A massive vibration shakes the area as a cannon-wielding man with an afro and a blonde woman react in alarm. "IT'S FINALLY GONNA BEGIN." "I JUST FELT A HUGE VIBRATION....!!" "BOMBARDMENT, BOMBARDMENT!" "NYAA NYAA" "HAA HAA" read the balloons while a sign notes "A shortcut to the Gates of Justice Underground passage." The scene shifts to the Bridge of Hesitation interior where a huge explosion erupts with the SFX "ドゴォーン" amid collapsing structures. A panel labels "Luffy vs Lucci." In the lower section, Luffy is shown mid-air with intense motion lines and the SFX "*RAZOR" as he shouts "KAMISORI.." while clashing against Lucci.

Lucci is hurled backward by a powerful strike, the SFX "エッッ!!" and "エッ!!" marking the impact. Luffy presses the assault with rapid punches, creating shockwaves and the SFX "!!!" as Lucci blocks desperately. The leopard-man counters with a fierce kick, sending Luffy flying amid debris and the SFX "ドガガガ.." Luffy lands hard with "POOON.." and "HAA" while Lucci looms over him. Lucci delivers a crushing blow, the SFX "ズバババ.." and "RHHH!!" ringing out as Luffy grunts "UGH!!"

Lucci stands amid rubble, muttering "... SO IT'S LIKE DOPING..." and "I SEE..." with heavy breaths "HAA" and "ZEH ZEH." Luffy, bloodied and determined, listens as Lucci explains: "FROM ENTRAILS TO BLOOD VESSELS, IS MADE OF RUBBER." "BUT THAT WON'T BE A PROBLEM IF EVERY PART OF THE BODY." "INTO PIECES IF IT WERE A NORMAL BODY." "YOU USE YOUR LEGS AS A PUMP TO ACCELERATE YOUR BLOOD CIRCULATION..." "CREATING BLOOD PRESSURE THAT COULD TEAR YOUR HEART." Luffy's eyes widen in realization. "IT REALLY IS A TECHNIQUE JUST FOR RUBBER MEN." In the wide shot Lucci continues, "IT'S NOT A SMART THING TO DO....!!" "YOU'RE HACKING AWAY YOUR LIFE!!" "EVEN THOUGH YOUR PHYSICAL ABILITIES INCREASE BEYOND THEIR LIMITS, YOUR STAMINA IS UNABLE TO KEEP UP WITH THOSE REINFORCEMENTS...!!"

Luffy's face fills the panel, sweat and wounds visible as he grins fiercely. "IN FRONT OF MY EYES!!!" "IT'S BETTER THAN LOSING SOMETHING." Lucci replies from the rubble, "YOU'RE GETTING YOUR HOPES UP TOO MUCH!!!!" Luffy shouts back, "ANYTHING I CAN!!!" "I'LL DO" while charging forward. Lucci, in leopard form, warns, "... WITHIN A FEW MINUTES, A BURST OF SHOTS WILL START..." "YOUR NAKAMA IN THE TOWER OF JUSTICE WILL DIE." "DID YOU FEEL THE EXPLOSIONS EARLIERI" "WARSHIPS FROM THE MARINE HEADQUARTERS PROBABLY A TEST FIRING." Luffy continues his desperate advance through the destroyed bridge.

Luffy stands tense in the collapsing underground passage as a voice calls out "RANKYAKU." Narration warns, "ANYONE IS RUNNING IN THE UNDER-GROUND PASSAGE TO GET HERE...... IN CASE." Luffy's eyes widen in alarm. A massive explosion erupts with the giant sound effect ドオン!!!, blasting rubble everywhere as "ZPABABA!!!" echoes. A huge, furry, horned figure stands amid the wreckage, a small creature squeaking "SQUEK" nearby. The figure declares, "YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING RIGHT, STRAWHAT... YOU... AND WHOEVER IS IN THERE WILL SURELY DROWN. THE SEAWATER WILL FLOOD INTO THE PASSAGE," while seawater begins rushing in with a loud ザバーー sound. Luffy reacts with shock, "!I"

Luffy roars in fury, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!I" The large furry figure replies calmly, "TO SAVE AND ESCAPE WITH EVERY-ONE WILL COME TRUE. LET ME LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HOW MUCH OF YOUR FOOLISH WISH," with a sly grin. Elsewhere, a Marine issues orders: "ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CATCH NICO ROBIN AND GET HER ON THE CONVOY. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. WARSHIPS ARE COMING!!!" Explosions and impacts erupt with SFX ビュルルル ポシャーン ギャア as soldiers scramble. A sign marks the "Bridge of Hesitation." On the bridge, figures react in panic: "H-HEY, DON'T RUN! WAIT!!!" "UWAA-AAAH!" "IT'S... TOO LATE ALREADY..." "ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BRIDGE!!" "I SEE SHADOWS" "AH...!!!" "HUH!I"

A massive Buster Call fleet of Marine warships advances across the sea, their sails marked "MARINE." A voice announces, "BUSTER CALL WILL COM-MENCE!!!" Another declares, "A FLEET OF WAR-SHIPS!!!" The enormous vessels surge forward with dramatic motion lines and impact effects オ...オ... The lower panels show close-ups of stern Marine officers, including a tall man in a cap, a cigar-smoking man with a dotted cloak, a scarred man with a stern glare, a man with a topknot, and a dark-haired officer with a serious expression, all watching the operation unfold.
