Panic erupts across Dressrosa as the Birdcage contracts. Civilians scream 'WAAA AAAH!' and 'KYAAH!' while fleeing. A man yells, 'RUN! MAKE FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICTS!' and 'THE LINE OF DEATH DRAWS EVER NEARER!' The country itself shrinks as buildings collapse. A desperate citizen shouts, 'THE CAGE IS JUST DRAGGING THEM ALONG WITH IT! THE BUILDINGS AREN'T BEING CUT!' Roronoa Zoro roars, 'THE COUNTRY ITSELF IS SHRINKING!' In the lower panels, an elderly man cries, 'THIS IS BAD! GET THE COLLAPSED GUYS UP ON THEIR FEET! WE AIN'T GONNA JUST SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR DEATH TO COME! ROGER!' Viola stares ahead and states, 'THIS IS THE TRUE HORROR OF BIRD CAGE, DEAR!' A small girl voice calls 'KYAAH~' with a heart. A sign notes the plateau holding the royal palace. Narration box reads 'BIRD CAGE IS GROWING SMALLER! SO THAT'S THE REASON FOR ALL THIS RUCKUS!'

Viola points toward the palace and declares, 'THE EPICENTER OF THIS SHRINKING IS MOST LIKELY... THE PLATEAU WHERE THE PALACE NOW STANDS! WHERE DOFLAMINGO IS NOW!' She continues, 'LOOK CLOSELY! THE CENTER OF THE CAGE IS SLOWLY SHIFTING! THIS IS THE CENTER OF THE COUNTRY! SHOULDN'T IT BE SAFEI' A diagram labels 'FORMER ROYAL PLATEAU' and warns the plateau will be ripped to shreds if the fight continues. Elsewhere, Franky asks, 'HURRYING OFF TO!I' while Kin'emon and others react. A woman screams 'KYAAAA AAAH! MOVE IT, HACK!' as a 'SLICE' effect targets the palace's current location. A close-up of a sweating woman says, 'SOONER OR LATER, HERE TOO...' In the final panel a man yells, 'WE'RE GONNA STOP THAT THING.' and another replies, 'I TOLD YOU!' with 'WHAA AAA!I'

In the sunflower fields before the palace, a doctor character says, 'IT'LL START TO HEAL. IF BLOOD STOPS FLOWING THROUGH IT, I REALLY HOPE IT ATTACHES PROPERLY, YOUR ARM.' The patient replies, 'I KNOW. I'M A DOCTOR.' A separate panel shows a dwarf-filled landscape labeled 'BEFORE THE PALACE SUNFLOWER FIELDS.' Cavendish speaks: 'YOU ALL WILL BECOME THE EYE OF THE STORM. THE RIPPLES FROM THAT SPLASH WILL BE FELT THE WORLD OVER. THIS FIGHT... ASSUMING YOU TWO MANAGE TO DEFEAT DOFLAMINGO...' He adds, 'WHILE I WAS UNDERGROUND IN THAT TRADING PORT, I REALIZED SOMETHING. THEY REALLY SURPRISED ME... THOSE DWARVES.' Below, the palace area shows impact effects and debris. A figure states, 'THAT'S WHAT WE'RE AFTER.' Another answers, 'YEAH.'

Luffy's face twists with intense focus as his body begins to inflate dramatically. "GEAR FOURTHI" someone exclaims in shock. "ZUZUZU" rumbles as his limbs swell. In a rapid sequence, Luffy bounces high into the air with a "FWOO", then lands powerfully with a "HAAAAA" and "TOSS", his massive form now coated in black haki patterns. A close-up reveals his enormous arm as he declares, "MUSCLE BALLOON!" with a resounding "K!!!" Doflamingo watches with narrowed eyes from the side.

Luffy's inflated Boundman form crashes forward with explosive force, "ZUZUZU...!!!" and repeated "BOCO! BOCO!" impacts shaking the ground. Doflamingo's eyes widen in surprise with a "I" as the massive black-and-white patterned limbs strike repeatedly, "DON!" "DON!" Luffy's face appears briefly in profile. Doflamingo smirks and taunts, "PUT ON A LITTLE WEIGHT THERE, HAVEN'T YOUI" while Luffy's leg slams down with "GOIN! GOIN!" and a fierce "HAA-".

Doflamingo wipes his face and laughs, "I THOUGHT YOU HAD SOME CRAZY ACE UP YOUR SLEEVE, BUT... GEEZ, THIS ISN'T EVEN FUNNY ANYMORE, FUFUFU!" He questions, "JUST HOW DESPERATE ARE YOU!I" as Luffy bounces wildly. Luffy explains, "YOU JUST USED THE ELASTICITY OF RUBBER TO GET BOUNCIER! FOR TWO YEARS, I FOUGHT WILD BEASTS... TO POUND THEM INTO SUBMISSION, THIS SIZE AND THIS ELASTICITY WERE NECESSARY. AS BIG AS MONSTERS." Doflamingo retorts, "HAVE YOUR WAY ANYMORE." Luffy lands in a powerful stance and announces, "GEAR FOURTH. BOUND MAN!" with heavy impact sounds.

Luffy's fist coils back with "TREMBLE TREMBLE" as he unleashes a devastating strike. "KONG" echoes as his arm extends. Doflamingo's eyes bulge in disbelief, "SUCH OBSCENE POWER!!" and "!!!!I" The massive punch named "GOMU GOMU NO... KONG GUN!" smashes into Doflamingo with a colossal "BANG" and "GUN!", obliterating buildings in a massive explosion of debris and smoke. Doflamingo stares in shock, muttering about the fist sinking into Luffy's body as the attack lands with overwhelming force.

Explosions rip through the city as a massive impact sends debris flying. A fighter is slammed hard, crying out "GAHH!" while another leopard-spotted warrior reels from a blow, gasping "GACK! UUGH!" In the chaos below, a huge serpentine form crashes down amid collapsing towers. Onlookers stare in shock: "HE JUST CAME FLYING DOWN OUT OF THE SKY!" "WHAT HAPPENED!I" "WH-WHA... IT'S DOFLA-MINGO!" A wounded figure wheezes "HAA" and "WHEEZE" as smoke and rubble fill the air.

Doflamingo glares with glowing eyes, snarling "I'D LIKE TO ASK THE SAME DAMN QUESTION..." A voice stammers "DO... DO... DOFLA-MINGO" while another demands "WHY ARE YOU HERE!I" Panic erupts as the Birdcage closes in: "THERE ISN'T ANYWHERE TO GO! THE BIRD CAGE IS COMING FROM THAT WAY!" "RUN! WE'RE GONNA GET KILLED!" Screams of "KYAAAH!" echo through the streets. Close-ups show narrowed eyes watching the destruction. A figure notes "CENTRAL DISTRICT, HUH... THAT'S ONE HELLUVA RECOIL..."

Luffy rockets through the sky using his rubber powers, shocking witnesses: "HE CAN USE HIS ELASTICITY TO FLY, TOO!I" In rapid sequence he coils, spins, and launches forward with "SHWOOP" sound effects and impact lines. His body stretches dramatically as he prepares an attack, declaring "GOMU GOMU NO" while buildings and clouds streak past in the background.

Doflamingo roars "RHINO" and "SCHNEI-DER!" as a massive dropkick slams into his face, sending him flying amid a huge explosion marked "ドゴォォン". Bystanders yell "WHO IS THAT HUGE GUY!I HE JUST DROPKICKED THE HELL OUT OF DOFLAMINGO'S FACE!" "ANOTHER ONE SHOWED UP!" Luffy bounces away like a ball with motion lines and "ビュン" effects while the city reels from the impact.

Luffy's massive Gear Fourth form towers over the ruined city streets as he slams a colossal punch into the ground. The impact shatters stone towers and sends debris flying while the narrator explains, "HE HARDENED HIS SKIN WITH BUSOSHOKU... AND WITH THAT INCREASE IN TENSILE STRENGTH, HIS POWER'S INCREASED MANY TIMES OVER!" A close-up shows Doflamingo's furious grin as he snarls, "DAMN IT! THAT PUNK...HE'S STILL NOTHING BUT PLAIN OLD RUBBER!" Luffy stretches his arm back and launches a powerful strike, shouting "GOMU GOMU NO" as the blow connects with explosive force.

Luffy rockets forward with blinding speed, the panel marked "FWISH!!" as he unleashes a twisting black limb. The attack is labeled "CULVERIN!" while a translator note reads "A CULVERIN IS A TYPE OF CANNON. KANJI READS AS PYTHON CANNON." Doflamingo counters with his string powers, yelling "ATHLETE THREAD!" as the threads slice through the air and clash violently with Luffy's stretching limb in a massive explosion of force and smoke.

Doflamingo's threads wrap around Luffy as he shouts "GET HIM! PYTHON!" Luffy's fist suddenly expands massively while the narrator declares "GEAR FOURTH EXPLODES!" Luffy roars "GOMU GOMU NO" and drives the enormous black fist forward with "CULVERIN!" Doflamingo is sent flying backward, crashing through the air as he yells "I DON'T THINK SO!" while Luffy's hardened form overwhelms him. Small panels show Doflamingo's shocked face and the words "HE'S STILL RUBBER!I" and "EVEN THOUGH HE'S HARDENED BY BUSOSHOKU..."
