DIVINE COMEDY

Enel's hand reaches out, crackling with electricity. A massive bolt of lightning strikes Nico Robin directly. She is thrown backward, her body smoking and arching in pain from the intense shock. Wiper watches with a shocked expression, a cigarette clenched in his teeth. Zoro glares angrily, sweat on his face, while Nami looks on in absolute terror, screaming "NO...".

Zoro quickly moves in and catches the unconscious Nico Robin before she hits the ground, the sound "FWAP" accompanying his action. He gently lays her down amidst the rubble. Zoro looks up with a furious glare, stating, "SHE'S A WOMAN..." Enel stands calmly, his expression completely unbothered, and simply replies, "I NOTICED."

Zoro spins his swords rapidly, "FWUP FWUP", and charges at Enel. With a sharp "SHLING", Zoro slashes Enel across the chest. Wiper watches in disbelief, yelling, "YOU REALLY ARE INSANE!!!" Despite the deep cut, Enel doesn't bleed or flinch. He just smiles down at Zoro and comments, "...HM... NICE STRONG ARMS."

Zoro continues his assault, pushing Enel back with a powerful strike, "SHWUP!". Enel is sent flying backward but continues to laugh, "YAHA HAHA...". Seizing the opportunity, Wiper aims his large bazooka directly at Enel. He fires a massive blast, shouting "'BURN BAZOOKA'!!!". The projectile hurtles towards the laughing Enel.

The bazooka blast hits, but Enel unleashes a massive burst of energy, shouting "'KALI*'!!!" (with a note that Kali means flash). A blinding explosion of lightning and fire erupts. Wiper is shocked, exclaiming, "!!? HE DEFLECTED THE BAZOOKA'S BLAST...!!" Enel floats effortlessly within the smoke, laughing "YAHAHAHA!!". Zoro is caught in the devastating shockwave, grunting "UGH!!!" and "UNGH..." as he is thrown back by the impact.

Enel stands completely unharmed, his drums floating behind him. He says, "IS USELESS AGAINST ME. YOU STILL DON'T GET IT? THE PATHETIC TRICKLE OF POWER YOU WIELD". He looks down dismissively, "TSK TSK TSK...". Nami is trembling in fear, realizing the scale of his power. "SUCH AN UNBELIEVABLE POWER. WE COULD HEAR THE THUNDER...!! PROOF THAT THE HEATED AIR EXPANDED WITH THE SPEED OF SOUND...!! THAT'S HOW MUCH ENERGY THERE WAS!!! A MAN WHO CAN CONTROL LIGHTNING...!!". Zoro, battered but still standing, draws his swords again and asks, "WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO INVITE?". Enel replies calmly, "WHY DID YOU SUDDENLY START ATTACKING ME? I WAS SIMPLY INVITING YOU TO COME TO FAIRY VEARTH...".

Zoro leaps into the air, attacking Enel again. "WE HAVE NO INTEREST IN THAT DREAM WORLD OF YOURS!" Enel easily dodges the strike, laughing "YA-HAHA." Nami screams in panic, "NO, ZORO!! YOU CAN'T BEAT HIM!!". Enel smiles menacingly, "IT SEEMS THAT YOU NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON... ON WHAT A GOD IS!!". He raises his hand, and a massive, dark column of lightning descends from his drums, striking Zoro directly.

Enel relentlessly shocks Zoro with high-voltage electricity. "I WILL USE MY OVERWHELMING STRENGTH TO TEACH YOU WHAT 'HOPELESSNESS' FEELS LIKE." Zoro struggles to stay standing, gritting his teeth. "...!!! NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO WIN." Zoro falls to his knees, overwhelmed by the pain. "NGH... LOSING ALL HOPE AND DYING ARE TWO STRANGELY SIMILAR THINGS..." Finally, the intense lightning engulfs Zoro completely, and he screams in agony, "WAAAH!!".

Zoro collapses face down onto the ruined stone floor, his body smoking from the severe burns. Nami screams his name, "ZORO!!!". Enel stands over him, declaring, "DEATH IS THE MOST TERRIFYING THING!!! FOR MORTAL MEN...". He continues his lecture on fear. "THAT'S WHY WHEN MEN PRAY TO GOD, THEY KNEEL DOWN AND BURY THEIR HEADS TO THE GROUND!! IT CAN'T BE HELPED. MEN BEG WHEN THEY ARE TERRIFIED. IT'S IN THEIR NATURE." Wiper watches the display of overwhelming power, sweating and gritting his teeth. "ACK!!! HOW CAN HE BE SO STRONG!?"

Wiper drops his bazooka to the ground with a clatter. He suddenly charges at Enel and grabs him tightly around the waist and shoulder. Nami watches in confusion, "EH?". Enel is caught off guard, looking down at Wiper. "...!? HM? WHAT ARE YOU DOING...? COMMITTING SUICIDE...?". Wiper holds on firmly, his face bruised and determined, panting heavily.

Wiper glares up at Enel with intense determination. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT KAIROUSEKI IS, ENEL!!?" Enel's confident expression vanishes, replaced by shock. "!" "KAIROUSEKI... THAT'S THE STONE USED TO SEAL DEVIL FRUIT POWERS...!!". Wiper explains his trap, "I ADDED SOME TO MY SHOOTER, AND IT'S DRAINING YOUR DEVIL FRUIT POWERS." Enel struggles to break free, but his body feels weak. "...!!! MY STRENGTH IS BEING... DRAINED." Wiper pulls back his right hand, revealing a Dial hidden under his bandages, ready to strike.

Enel panics, realizing the danger. "DON'T DO IT!!" Wiper yells back, "SHUT UP!! I'LL BE HAPPY TO DIE IF I CAN TAKE YOU WITH ME...!!". Enel tries to reason with him, "DON'T YOU WANT TO LIVE!? I KNOW YOU JUST WANT VEARTH...! YOU'RE TRYING TO USE 'REJECT'? YOUR BODY CAN'T TAKE IT!!". Ignoring the warning, Wiper thrusts his hand forward, pressing the Reject Dial directly against Enel's chest. "EAT THIS!! 'REJECT'!!!". The massive impact hits Enel, his eyes rolling back as the devastating force transfers into his body.

A colossal shockwave erupts from the Reject Dial, shattering the surrounding stone ruins and sending debris flying everywhere. Wiper falls backward, his arm smoking and his body heavily damaged by the recoil of the Dial. Enel lies motionless on the ground, his eyes blank. As the dust settles, a flashback begins. A bearded Shandia elder speaks, "'TRUTH IN THE HEART...' 'AND THE MOUTH SEALED...' 'WE ARE THOSE WHO RECORD HISTORY.'"

The flashback continues in the ancient Shandia village. The Shandia Chief addresses his people. "800 YEARS AGO, THAT STONE TABLET" "PONEGLYPH?" "WAS WHAT THE WARRIORS OF SHANDORA TRIED TO PROTECT FROM THE INVADERS WHO SOUGHT IT." A Shandia woman listens intently. "THAT WAS THE WILL OF OUR ANCESTOR... THAT THEY WOULD QUIETLY GUARD THE CITY RUINS AND THE PONEGLYPH... THE SURVIVORS DECIDED BUT WE LOST MANY GREAT MEN IN THE PROCESS." A young Wiper, alongside young Kamakiri, Braham, and Genbo, yells angrily. "I KNOW. 400 YEARS LATER, THE ISLAND FLEW UP TO SKYPIEA. AND THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE STOLE IT. SO THE LAND OUR ANCESTORS TRIED SO HARD TO PROTECT... WAS BRUTALLY TAKEN AWAY!!"

The flashback shows the Shandia Chief sitting before his warriors. "THAT'S RIGHT, UPPER YARD IS OUR HOMELAND... BUT IT'S ALSO A PLACE WHICH HOLDS A HISTORY LOST IN THE DARKNESS... EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN THE SKY NOW, THE PROUD FLAME OF SHANDORA SHALL NEVER BE PUT OUT." The scene shifts to the Shandia warriors charging fiercely into battle through the forest. "RESTORE THE FLAME... OF SHANDORA!!!" The flashback fades, returning to the present-day ruins of Shandora, silent and covered in clouds.

Back in the present, Enel lies completely still on the ground. Zoro and Nami watch carefully. Wiper is on his knees, panting heavily from the toll of the Reject Dial. "HAA... HAA...". Nami asks hesitantly, "IS HE... DEAD...!?". Suddenly, Enel's body begins to spark. He slowly rises to his feet, his entire body crackling with intense electrical energy, towering over the battlefield once again.

Nami looks around at the devastation, seeing the unconscious bodies of her friends. "ROBIN...!! STRANGE KNIGHT...!!". Suddenly, a massive surge of lightning erupts from Enel's body, illuminating the ruins. "!!?". Wiper, still exhausted, watches in horror. "HAA... HAA...". Zoro and Nami are frozen in shock as the blinding light and power overwhelm the area. "AH..."

Enel's body pulses with electricity, "KZUM KZUM KZUM", as he fully revives himself. Nami realizes the horrifying truth, her hand over her mouth. "... HE RESTARTED HIS OWN HEART...". Wiper groans in despair, "HNNG......!!". Enel stands tall, a sinister smile on his face. "IT'S THE 'TERROR'... THAT 'GOD' INCARNATES. IT'S NOT 'GOD' THAT PEOPLE FEAR...". The chapter ends with the text "29 VOLUME 29 (END)".
