In a ruined Wano town square, a woman with dark hair and a rose in it reacts with shock. A voice exclaims, "AH! I WAS RIGHT!!" Another shouts, "YOU'RE MOMONOSUKE'S... YOUNGER SISTERII" She replies, "I AM GLAD I MUSTERED UP THE COURAGE TO SAY SOMETHING!! WHAT A GAMBLE THAT WAS!!" A narration box states, "THE TRUTH COMES OUT AFTER 20 LONG YEARS..." She continues, "...SINCE A STRONG AND KIND SAMURAI FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD APPEARED..." and "...AT THE SAME TIME THAT RUMOURS OF THE KOZUKI FAMILY'S RETURN BEGAN TO CIRCULATE THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY..." She declares, "SO HE IS STILL ALIVE!!" and "SO YOU DO KNOW MY OLDER BROTHER!!" An ally responds, "HOLD YOUR HORSES!! LET ME PROCESS ALL THIS FIRST..." The woman asks about Kin'emon, Raizo, Kanjuro, and Kikunojo. Someone replies, "THAT IS A RELIEF!!" She identifies herself: "I'M AN ALLY. AN ALLY." A voice warns, "AH! BUT YOU COULD ALSO BE AN ENEMY THAT IS TRYING TO CAPTURE MY BROTHER!!" She answers, "IT MUST MEAN THAT YOU ARE HELPING MY BROTHER...!!"

Kin'emon stands with arms crossed, listening as Hiyori explains, "AND STAYED 8 YEARS OLD. AND THAT'S WHY HIS YOUNGER SISTER IS NOW 26 NOW..." She adds, "I THINK I GET IT NOW. SO THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED..." and "MOMO WAS SENT 20 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE..." Hiyori continues, "O-TOKO IS ONE OF THE FEW FRIENDS I HAVE THAT KNOWS THE TRUTH. HER CHEERFUL ATTITUDE HAS HELPED TO PUSH ME FORWARD..." while hugging the child and laughing, "AHAHAHA!!" She reassures, "DON'T WORRY!! I ALREADY KNEW!" In the background, several figures including a masked person react with surprise. Hiyori recalls, "INSIDE THE RAGING FIRE I SAW MY BROTHER AND EVERYONE ELSE VANISH..." and "ON THAT SAME DAY... The curly-haired man beside her asks sharply, "WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST GO WITH THEMI" In the next panel she explains, "BECAUSE... IN CASE THE PLAN FAILED, THEY WANTED TO ENSURE THAT THERE WAS A WAY FOR THE KOZUKI BLOODLINE TO SURVIVE...!!!" The scene shifts to a warm interior where a small child stares in shock. "A KAPPA!I" Hiyori narrates, "TOOK CARE OF ME WITH SUCH IMMENSE PATIENCE......BUT MY FATHER'S RETAINER, KAWAMATSU THE KAPPA... THAT MUST'VE BEEN TOUGH." Kawamatsu, cloaked in a dark robe with a sun crest, sits with the child and Hiyori as she replies gently, "YES. I AM SURE THAT IT IS HARD FOR YOU TO BELIEVE THAT SUCH A DEMON EXISTS... BUT HE IS PROUD OF THAT FACT..."

Hiyori smiles softly while recounting happier memories. "HE ALWAYS TRIED TO CHEER ME UP... EVEN THOUGH I HAD REMAINED MUTE SINCE THAT DAY..." Flashbacks show the kappa dancing wildly as the child laughs. "PRINCESS! THIS IS THE KAPPA DANCE!!" and "PRINCESS!! PLEASE HOLD ON!!" On the day the castle burned, enemies surrounded them, but Kawamatsu dug an escape tunnel. "SO I ROASTED IT AND ATE IT!! KAPPAPPA!" "I CAUGHT A FISH IN THE RIVER EARLIER... AH, IT'S NOTHING BUT A STOMACH-ACHE!!" Kawamatsu went hungry so the child could eat. "LITTLE BY LITTLE, HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE ME LAUGH...!!!" SFX: GIGGLE and GROOOOWL. Hiyori clasps her hands, eyes shining. "HE MUST BE WAITING SOMEWHERE FOR THE FINAL BATTLE!! BUT KAWAMATSU WAS A VERY STRONG SAMURAI! WE WERE SEPARATED FROM ONE ANOTHER... WHEN I WAS 13... SO... Hiyori beams with joy. "I AM SO HAPPY... TOO HAPPY!" A sweat drop forms as the man reacts, "HUHI WHAT'S WITH THAT FACEI" She steels herself, "BUT I WILL NOT CRY... BECAUSE I AM THE DAUGHTER OF A SAMURAI!!" The scene widens to show the devastated capital. "ARE HERE TOO!I" "THE DOGGY AND THE KITTY..." "I HEARD THEY DIED..." A banner unfurls: THE NINE RED SCABBARDS. Portraits of Kin'emon, Kanjuro, Raizo, O-Kiku, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi appear as the man notes, "WE'VE GOT THESE SIX PEOPLE, ALONG WITH MOMONOSUKE... BUT I HAVEN'T MET THE LAST THREE YET..." Hiyori laughs uncontrollably. "AHAHAHA!! BIG SIS, YOU'RE HILARIOUS!!" She holds up a torn piece of paper. "I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THOSE THREE ARE OR WHETHER THEY ARE SAFE... BUT RIGHT NOW, THE CAPITAL IS IN CHAOS BECAUSE OF THIS PICTURE... SO THEY WILL DEFINITELY APPEAR WHEN THEY SEE IT!! ONE OF THEM IS KAWAMATSU, THE MAN I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT... AND THE OTHER TWO ARE DENJIRO AND ASHIURA DOUJI!!"

The curly-haired man frowns. "THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, THE MEETUP LOCATION, WAS LEAKED... AND NOW OUR ALLIES ARE BEING CAPTURED ONE BY ONE... NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT, IT'S NOT A GOOD SITUATION. Lord Orochi demands silence and questions why the prisoners possess a forgotten rebellion symbol. A bound man with an X over his face insists he knows nothing of any rebellion. Fukurokuju holds up the symbol and declares, "YOU HAVE FAILED." The scene shifts to the Flower Capital's Rasetsu District, where Orochi's forces drag captives through the streets. "SO YOU ALL WERE LIVING OFF THE CAPITAL'S RESOURCES WHILE WAITING FOR THE CHANCE TO REBEL!! GET IN THERE, YOU TRAITORS!!" A large sign reads "RASETSU DISTRICT - PRISON AKA THE PRISONER SHOWCASE*". Crowds gather as prisoners are thrown into the massive wooden prison gates. Voices cry out, "THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE SITUATION..." and "CAPTAIN... WILL DEFINITELY BELIEVE US..." while onlookers react in horror at the spectacle.

In the chaotic Rasetsu District, Madilloman and Alpacaman are called out amid the prisoner mines. Madilloman shouts "PACA-CACA!!" while brandishing weapons. A massive Gifter named Madilloman, labeled "ARMADILLO SMILE USER", aims guns and yells, "HEEEEY, PUT YOUR GUN AWAY, MADILLO-MAN!!" The armadillo-like figure retorts as seastone bullets are mentioned: "THIS IS THE LINE OF FIRE FOR YOU TWO. WE HAVE SEASTONE BULLETS, MADE EXCLUSIVELY IN THE WANO COUNTRY!!" An alpaca Gifter stands nearby. The crowd watches the standoff near the prison gates as tension rises.

Orochi laughs maniacally, "ARE THEY BLIND...I THIS WON'T BE BLIND... MUHAHAHA!! THIS IS AN EXECUTION!!" as the match begins. Madilloman charges with guns while a voice orders, "RUN TO THE RIGHT!I" Luffy appears, eyes wide, shouting instructions. "GRAMPS!! RUN TO THE RIGHT... BEND YOUR KNEES... AND JUMP!!" The armadillo Gifter fires wildly. An old man leaps as the shots explode around him. Madilloman yells, "BEND MY KNEES!!" while the alpaca Gifter reacts in shock. The old man dodges with surprising agility amid the gunfire and debris.

The old man leaps high as Madilloman crashes, "BUHG!!! JUMP!!!" Luffy cheers, "GOOD JOB, GRAMPS!!" The alpaca Gifter panics, "WHAAAAAAT!I SERIOUSLY!I GRANDPA HYOU IS SO AGILE!!" Luffy points and commands, "NOW THE LEFT SIDE!!" The old man, identified as Grandpa Hyou, lands and retorts, "YOU SEE THE FUTUREI WHAT WAS THAT!I CAN..." Madilloman is sent flying with a massive impact, screaming "NGHHHHHHH!!" as the crowd reacts to the sudden reversal.

Luffy clashes with a massive armored fighter whose body is covered in tough dragon-like scales. The fighter blocks every strike as Luffy shouts, "I CAN'T HIT HIM!! WHAT'S UP WITH THIS GUY!I" Background fighters yell "LEEEEFT!!" and "YOU BAAAAS-TARD!!!" while impact lines and "JUMP JUMP" and "ギャキン!!" SFX fill the air. The scaled fighter counters with "AS IF THAT'D WORK, YOU FOOL!! ARMADI-GUARD!!" and stops Luffy's punch cold. Luffy is sent flying, yelling "WHAAAAAAT!!!I" He lands and realizes, "NO, I DID IT WRONG....!! THIS IS JUST NORMAL ARMAMENT..." The scaled fighter stares in confusion, thinking "HUHI HE'S NOT HITTING ME...!!I" as Luffy mutters "HUHI"

Luffy is grabbed and spun wildly by a wild-haired fighter using "ALPACA STYLE!! CHE CHE CHEEE!!" The alpaca fighter shouts "YOU'RE FINE AS HUUH!I" while Luffy yells "HOW ABSURD!! PUT ME DOWN!!" and "THIS IS MORE FUN." The scaled fighter watches as the alpaca fighter declares, "IT'S NOT LIKE I DON'T WANT TO PUNCH THEM!!... BUT I WON'T KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL I TRY!" Luffy responds, "IF I CAN DO THAT, I THINK I'LL BE ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH KAIDO'S TOUGH SCALES....!!" The alpaca fighter continues, "EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE CAUGHT... AND FORCED INTO AN EXECUTION GAME... YOU'VE BEEN STOPPING YOUR PUNCHES SHORT, SHOUTING OUT 'I DID IT WRONG', OVER AND OVER... WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU...!I" while declaring "THE HEAVIER, THE BETTER!! I'M TRAINING!!"

The old man explains Haki to Luffy: "...THIS HAKI YOU SPEAK OF MUST BE WHAT OUTSIDERS CALL IT..." and "AND IT'S STILL COLOUR OF ARMAMENT HAKI, BUT..." while performing "ASHIGARA DOKKO!!!!" He continues, "AND WHEN WE DO NOT WANT TO CUT SOMETHING, OUR SWORD WILL NOT CUT THE THINNEST OF PAPER! THE SWORD BECOMES ONE WITH THE SWORDMASTER!" and "SO THAT WHEN WE WANT TO CUT SOMETHING, OUR SWORD WILL CUT EVEN THE THICKEST OF STEEL." The old man tells Luffy, "STRAW HAT-MAN....!! HERE IN WANO, WE ALSO HAVE AN ABILITY LIKE THAT. IT IS TRANSFERRED TO A SWORD FROM THE USER'S BODY..." Luffy cries out "AH! GRAMPS!" as the old man says, "PLEASE WATCH THIS!! I DO NOT KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO TEACH IT TO YOU, BUT... A LONG TIME AGO... I LEARNED THAT TECHNIQUE FROM A SWORD-MASTER."

Luffy watches in shock as the old man prepares a powerful strike, thinking "HE'S GONNA SWING THE SWORD IN HIS RIGHT HAND WITH EVERYTHING HE'S GOT!!" The alpaca fighter yells "TELL ME WHAT WILL HAPPEN!!" The old man swings, unleashing a massive "FWISH!!" slash that explodes into debris and impact lines. In the chaotic aftermath of the clash, Alpaca-Man is sent flying backward with a massive impact as Luffy shouts in shock. "ALPACA-MAN!!" A voice taunts from the side, "MUHAHA!! LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE STILL GOT SOME LIFE LEFT IN YOU, GRAMPS!!" The attack is deflected with a loud "GABH!!" as Luffy yells, "HE DEFLECTED IT!!!" Onlookers react in the crowd, one asking, "...SO GRANDPA HYOU REALLY IS HYOUGORO OF THE FLOWER...I" Another exclaims, "HE DEFEATED ONE OF THE GIFTERS!!" while others shout, "WHOAAAA!! GRANDPA HYOU DID WHAT!I" Hyogoro, breathing heavily with sweat pouring down, thinks to himself, "...WAS THAT IT...I" and considers, "IF SO, I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU...!!" A note highlights "EVEN GREATER POWER...!!" as he pants, "HUFF... HUFF..." and asks, "WHAT YOU WERE TRYING TO DO..." Luffy stares up with wide, excited eyes and begs desperately, "PLEASE TEACH IT TO ME!!" Someone in the background yells, "THAT'S THE ONE!!!" as another voice cries, "WHOA!!"
