DENDEN-MUSHI

Jango is shown standing on a beach, hiding behind a tree and looking out at the ocean. In the distance, a pirate ship is sailing away. A massive geyser of tears shoots up into the sky from the dense jungle of Little Garden, accompanied by a booming sound. The giant Brogy is shown from a low angle, his mouth wide open in a colossal wail. Tears stream down his face like waterfalls as he cries out in overwhelming emotion. The sound effect "OHHHHHHH OHHHHHHH" fills the air around him, emphasizing the sheer volume and power of his sorrow. The surrounding palm trees and jungle foliage are dwarfed by his massive size and the explosive force of his tears.

Brogy continues to bawl loudly, his massive tears flooding the ground around him and creating a literal downpour. "OHHHHHHH OHHHHHHH," he wails, his mouth still wide open. Below him, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Vivi stand in the jungle, watching the incredible spectacle. Karoo the duck quacks in surprise. Luffy points up at the giant and says with a grin, "Hey, look! You can see a rainbow behind him!" Zoro, looking slightly overwhelmed, remarks, "It's like looking at a waterfall!" Nami covers her ears with her hands, wincing, "Even his crying is ear-splittingly energetic...!" Usopp, who is also crying streams of tears in solidarity, yells, "I understand completely, Master Brogy!" Vivi also covers her ears, looking distressed by the noise, "My ears..."

Suddenly, the other giant, Dorry, who was presumed dead, sits up behind Brogy. "Seems I've passed out for a bit..." he says, rubbing his head. Brogy turns around, his eyes wide with complete shock. Usopp's eyes bug out of his head in disbelief as he stammers, "You're...!?" Dorry looks down at his massive sword, which is now heavily notched and broken. "Because of our weapons... The weapons...!? Ah! That's right!" he realizes. Down below, Luffy cheers excitedly, throwing his arms up, "Mister! Mr. Dorry!" The rest of the crew, including Zoro, Nami, Vivi, and Karoo, look on in amazement as they realize Dorry has survived the seemingly fatal blow.

A close-up reveals Dorry's massive, ancient sword stuck in the ground, its blade heavily chipped and broken from the impact. Dorry explains the reason for his survival: "Of a duel between giants that's been going on for a hundred years... Even Elbaf's weapons couldn't withstand all the stress," Usopp, crying tears of profound joy and relief, says, "It's a miracle." Overcome with emotion, Brogy grabs Dorry in a massive, crushing hug, squeezing him tightly. "GABABABABABA! Thank god you've survived, my dearest friend! GABABABABABA!" he laughs and cries simultaneously. Dorry, feeling the pain of his injuries, complains, "Don't hug me so much, Brogy, you're hurting my wounds..."

Brogy laughs heartily, throwing his head back, "GABABABA! Let us thank the god of Elbaf! What a splendid day this is!" Zoro smiles knowingly and comments, "A miracle? It's only expected... If anything, it's a miracle those weapons still look like weapons even after 100 years of constant usage. Not to mention the wielders themselves still wanting to fight after so long..." Dorry yells angrily, "Stop touching my wounds! GEGYAGYAGYA!" Brogy retorts, "You know that's not the reason, you big ol' fool!" Dorry suddenly punches Brogy squarely in the face with a loud smack. "Ha. Are you that happy about finally landing a blow on me, and making me pass out?" Brogy gets angry, rubbing his face, "Why're you starting a fight already!?" Dorry glares at him, "I intend to crush you flat, alright!" Brogy yells back, "You intend to start something!?" Nami watches the two giants bicker with a sweatdrop, exasperated by their immediate return to rivalry.

Meanwhile, deep in the jungle, inside Mr. 3's wax house, the Denden-Mushi continues to ring loudly. Sanji stands nearby, smoking a cigarette and looking thoughtful. He mutters to himself, "Mister.. Zero...?" He recalls a previous conversation, thinking, "Didn't Vivi say that Mr. 0 was the enemy boss' codename...? If I remember correctly..." He looks down at the ringing snail, realizing the implications. "Which would mean that the man on the other side of this Denden-Mushi right now is...!" The snail's eyes look impatient as it continues to emit its ringing sound, waiting for someone to answer.

Sanji continues to ponder the situation, thinking, "One of the Royal Shichibukai...!?" The Denden-Mushi finally speaks, mimicking a deep, authoritative voice, "Mr. 3...! So that must be the owner of the Denden-Mushi here... What is your status, Mr. 3? It's already been quite some time since I sent you my orders." A shadowy figure with a hook hand and a scarred face is briefly shown speaking into a receiver. Sanji sits down at the wax table, pouring himself a drink from a pitcher. He pieces the clues together in his mind: "This is the enemy's secret hideout, and a guy called Mr. 3 is on this island to hunt down Vivi. Alright, I think I understand the current situation now..."

Sanji finishes pouring his drink, the ice clinking in the glass. The voice on the Denden-Mushi demands, "What are you being so silent for?" Sanji sweats slightly, realizing the danger of his position. He thinks, "Damn it... I really shouldn't have been caught up in some hunting game...! I hope the guys are all safe..." He clicks his tongue in annoyance. The voice presses him, "I'm asking you a question. Have you eliminated Princess Vivi and the Strawhat Pirates or not?" Sanji picks up the receiver, adopting a smooth, confident tone to impersonate Mr. 3. "Yes, I've carried out my mission alright. All the people who know of your secret are now no more, so there is no more need for further pursuit."

The shadowy figure, Crocodile, sits in a lavish, dimly lit room with a large crocodilian pet, a Bananagator, resting behind him. He touches a flower in a vase on his desk. "I see. Good work..." he says. "The Unluckies are headed your way right now. Once they confirm your mission's success, they'll hand you a certain package." Sanji, still playing along, asks, "The Unluckies? A package?" Crocodile confirms, "That's right. An Eternal Pose to Alabasta... Once you receive it, head to Alabasta with Ms. Golden-Week immediately. You will await further details, once you arrive at Alabasta. The time has come... We must now carry out the most crucial step of our plan."

Suddenly, two strange animals appear in the doorway of the wax house: an otter wearing sunglasses and a spotted hood, and a vulture wearing an aviator cap and goggles. These are the Unluckies, Mr. 13 and Miss Friday. Sanji looks over at them, surprised. "The hell...?" The otter glints its sharp claws menacingly, and the vulture clicks a pair of guns attached to its wings. Sanji, still holding the receiver, says, "What's the matter? No, it's n-" before he is interrupted by their sudden hostile actions.

The Unluckies launch a sudden, coordinated, and fierce attack. The vulture swoops down rapidly, firing its guns, while the otter leaps forward, slashing wildly with its sharp claws. Sanji is forced to dodge frantically, leaping backward as the wax table and chairs are completely destroyed by the assault. Debris flies everywhere. "Whoa! Gah! What the hell are they!? Aghh!" Sanji yells as he evades the deadly strikes, realizing these animals are highly trained assassins.

Sanji quickly recovers and retaliates, delivering a powerful, sweeping kick directly to the otter's face. "Trying to kill me, are you now? Four-eyed monkey! That's some big balls you've got, you damned, dirty..." The otter is sent flying backward from the impact of the blow. However, the vulture swoops in again from above, clicking its guns and preparing to fire another volley at Sanji.

Sanji spins gracefully and delivers another devastating kick, this time striking the vulture out of the air. "Didn't I, tell you... to quit it, you overgrown chicken!" he shouts as the bird crashes to the ground. Sanji lands smoothly and picks the Denden-Mushi receiver back up, dusting himself off. Crocodile's voice comes through the snail, asking suspiciously, "What happened?" Sanji replies calmly, maintaining his cover, "Oh, never mind that. It's really nothing. One of the Strawhats turned out to be just barely alive, but I just finished him off for sure so worry not." The defeated Unluckies lie twitching and unconscious on the floor behind him.

Crocodile's hand tightens around the stem of the flower he was touching. "One of them.. was alive...? Didn't you just say, you had carried out the mission successfully...? So in short, you had given me a false report at that time..." He crushes the flower in his grip, causing it to wither instantly and drop into his glass of water. Sanji replies smoothly, "Ah, well I thought I had. But one of the buggers was a lot more tenacious than I thought..."

Sanji continues his bluff, "Well... I suppose that's true if you want to get technical... But I really did finish him for sure just now. So there's really no need for further pursuit. Capiche?" Crocodile's shadowed face looks annoyed but he accepts the report. "Fine... Just head for Alabasta straight away then." Crocodile sits at his ornate desk. "This will be the last time I contact you by Denden-Mushi. I can't afford the Marines to intercept any of our calls. From hereon, all orders shall be delivered the traditional way. That is all. Godspeed, Mr. 3..." Crocodile hangs up the receiver with a click. He then addresses a woman sitting nearby, "Ms. All-Sunday. Send Mr. 2 to Little Garden."

Crocodile's face is shown in a menacing close-up, his eyes narrowed. "His orders are to lie in wait amidst the route between Alabasta and Little Garden, and assassinate Mr. 3...!" Sanji realizes the call has ended and lowers the receiver. "He hung up..." Back in Alabasta, Ms. All-Sunday (Nico Robin) smiles slightly, amused by her boss's ruthlessness. "Rather violent, aren't you, Sir "Mr. 0" Crocodile." Crocodile stands up, his large fur coat draped over his shoulders. "I still have more than enough capable officers... Do you really wish to talk back to me?" Robin replies calmly, "No, no. I'll carry out your orders at once..."

Crocodile glares menacingly, his scarred face looking dangerous. Back at Little Garden, Sanji looks down at the unconscious Unluckies. "So what the hell were these things?" He notices something on the ground that they dropped. "Hm? This is..." He picks up an hourglass-shaped compass labeled "ALABASTA". It's the Eternal Pose. Meanwhile, out on the Grand Line seas, a Marine ship with "SMOKER MARINE" written on its sail is shown. A Marine on deck reports urgently, "Captain! Cpt. Smoker! We've just intercepted a highly peculiar call!" Smoker's voice replies from inside the ship, "What!?"
