Opposing Forces

Inside the Galley-La headquarters, a fierce battle is underway. Lulu, with his hair sticking out, and Tileston, the massive shipwright, confront a mysterious assassin wearing a round bear mask and a checkered cloak. Lulu demands angrily, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ICEBERG-SAN IN THE BEDROOM!!?" while Tileston shouts, "DAMN YOU! WHAT DID YOU DO TO KAKU AND LUCCHI!!?" Tileston swings his massive wooden hammer down with a mighty "UWOOOO!!" but the bear-masked assassin stands his ground calmly. Clenching his fist, the assassin whispers, "TEKKAI." and says, "WHY DON'T YOU SEE FOR YOURSELF?" With a loud "GRIP" and a shattering crash, Tileston's giant hammer is completely pulverized against the assassin's hardened body, sending wooden shards flying everywhere. Tileston is left gasping in shock, "!!!?"

The shipwrights are stunned by the assassin's incredible defense. A bystander screams, "AAAH!! TILESTON-SAN'S GIANT HAMMER WAS... SHATTERED BY A FIST!!" Tileston, sweating and straining, finds himself completely immobilized as the bear-masked assassin grabs his wrist with a firm "GRAB!" Tileston thinks in disbelief, "I... I CAN'T MOVE!!? I NEVER LOSE IN STRENGTH...!!" The assassin mocks him, saying, "YOU SEEM CONFIDENT IN YOUR STRENGTH." With a sudden, brutal movement, the assassin lifts the massive shipwright and slams him headfirst into the wooden floorboards with a devastating impact. The floor shatters under the force of the blow, accompanied by a massive "!!!!" sound effect as Tileston is violently defeated.

Tileston lies completely unconscious and bleeding on the shattered floorboards, surrounded by debris and overturned furniture. The bear-masked assassin stands over him, completely unfazed. Nearby, Lulu is also down, and other Galley-La workers watch in absolute horror. One worker screams, "THREE OF THE CHIEF MECHANICS IN DOCK 1... ONE HIT...!!!" while others panic, shouting, "GYAAAAAA!!" and "OH CRAP!! LET'S GO GET HELP!!" They scramble to run away down the corridor. The assassin watches them flee with a sinister, silent gaze behind his mask.

Outside the mansion, a massive crowd of angry citizens and shipwrights has gathered. They spot the Straw Hats and shout, "HE'S FINALLY APPEARED!!" and "IT'S RORONOA ZORO!!" and "DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY!!" and "THEY'RE STRAW HATS!!!" Zoro, Nami, and Chopper are running for their lives as the crowd pursues them with torches and weapons. Chopper screams in terror, "WAAAH!!" Nami, running alongside them, asks in panic, "WHAT HAPPENED TO LUFFY!?" Zoro grumbles, "HOW THE HECK WOULD I KNOW?" Realizing they are surrounded, Zoro suddenly stops, draws his swords, and prepares to fight. He says, "DAMN IT...!! THERE'S NO POINT IN RUNNING!! IN ANY CASE, THEY SAW US JUMP OVER THE FENCE, SO..." Nami looks back at him in shock, asking, "AH!? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, ZORO?"

Zoro explains his plan to Nami and Chopper: "THERE'S NO POINT RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE! WE SHOULD JUST CHARGE IN THERE, AND FIND ROBIN!!" Chopper protests frantically, "BUT THEY ARE THE SHIPWRIGHTS!! THEY AREN'T OUR ENEMY!" Zoro, however, has already made up his mind. He assures them, "NO PROBLEM... I'LL HIT THEM USING THE BACKS OF MY BLADES...!" With a fierce battle cry, Zoro charges directly into the crowd of shipwrights, shouting, "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!" He unleashes a powerful non-lethal slash that sends multiple men flying through the air with screams of "AAAAAAAH!!" and "!!!". Nami watches the carnage in exasperation, sweating as she yells, "YOU'RE STILL CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES!"

High above the city streets, Luffy has finally managed to free himself from being stuck between two buildings. He lies on a rooftop, panting and chuckling, "HEH... HEH... HEH... I FINALLY GOT OUT... SO UNLUCKY..." He stands up on the edge of the roof, looking towards Iceburg's mansion with determination. "WHEW! THIS TIME I'LL DEFINITELY FLY RIGHT IN THERE... AND CATCH ROBIN!!" Stretching his arms far behind him to grip a distant structure, he prepares his signature slingshot move. He shouts, "GOMU GOMU... ROCKET!!" and launches himself through the air like a missile, flying directly toward the mansion.

Inside Iceburg's dimly lit bedroom, Nico Robin stands silently, her face partially concealed by her hood. Iceburg lies in his bed, heavily bandaged and bleeding from his mouth, but he chuckles weakly, "HEH... HEH..." Robin stares at him with a cold, unreadable expression. Iceburg speaks to her: "I WAS SURPRISED TO MEET YOU HERE... I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE YOU HERE, NICO ROBIN." Robin remains silent, her eyes fixed on him as the tension in the room builds.

Iceburg continues talking to Robin, recalling their past: "LAST NIGHT WAS THE FIRST TIME... BUT I HAD ALWAYS... WANTED TO MEET YOU..." Robin looks at him calmly and asks, "..... HAVE WE MET BEFORE?" Iceburg responds with a confused "....?" and a soft chuckle, "HEH HEH". Suddenly, Robin's expression sharpens into shock ("!!?"). With a swift, fluid motion, she draws two flintlock pistols from beneath her cloak and points them directly at Iceburg's head, the sound of her draw echoing through the quiet room.

Robin holds her guns steady, asking coldly, "IN ORDER TO KILL ME...?" Iceburg, staring down the barrels of her weapons, replies, "THAT IS CORRECT." He continues, "BEFORE YOU... DESTROY THE WORLD...!!" Robin reacts with a silent, tense stare. Iceburg explains his reasoning: "THE WORLD GOVERNMENT HAD MADE DOING SO ILLEGAL A LONG TIME AGO... SEEKING, STUDYING, AND DECIPHERING THE TRUE HISTORY... AS YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW." He chuckles weakly, "HEH... HEH..." as he lies in bed, completely at her mercy.

Iceburg questions Robin further: "HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE TRUE HISTORY? JUST KNOWING THAT THE GLYPHS EXIST IS NOT A CRIME... BUT IN THIS WORLD, THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON WHO CAN DECIPHER IT... AND THAT IS YOU!" Robin remains silent, her eyes narrowed. Iceburg points out, "THAT IS THE REASON, SINCE YOU WERE ONLY EIGHT YEARS OLD... THERE HAS BEEN A HIGH BOUNTY ON YOUR HEAD!" A small inset shows Robin's childhood bounty poster with her name "NICO ROBIN". Iceburg concludes, "YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS WORLD... THAT CAN RESURRECT... THE ANCIENT WEAPONS."

Robin acknowledges his words, saying, "... SO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT TOO... IF YOU ARE WITH THE CP9... THEN YOU MUST'VE LEFT THE STRAW HATS... AND ARE NOW WORKING FOR THE GOVERNMENT..." Iceburg responds, "IT'S WEIRD ON THEIR PART TO HIRE SOMEONE THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ARREST FOR SO LONG... BUT I DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR REASONS FOR DOING THIS." He looks at her seriously, adding, "BECAUSE ONCE THE WEAPONS ARE REVIVED... IT WON'T MATTER IF THE USER IS GOOD OR EVIL... ONE THING IS CERTAIN... THE WEAPONS WILL NEVER BRING PEACE TO THE WORLD..." A close-up shows a hand firmly gripping a flintlock pistol, ready to fire.

Robin finishes Iceburg's thought: "... INSTEAD, THEY WILL DESTROY IT." She looks down at him with a stern, unwavering gaze. Iceburg insists, "THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN BURIED, ALONG WITH HISTORY... SHOULD NEVER BE UNEARTHED!" Robin replies coldly, "YES. I AGREE. BUT YOU SHOULD MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. REGARDLESS OF HOW I CHOOSE TO STUDY HISTORY... YOU'RE JUST AN OUTSIDER, YOU HAVE NO PLACE SAYING ANYTHING." Iceburg counters, "--- THAT IS NOT SO... THE TRUTH IS, I'M VERY MUCH INVOLVED..."

Iceburg drops a massive revelation, his face sweating and bleeding as he declares, "BECAUSE I HOLD THE BLUEPRINT OF... THE ANCIENT WEAPON, 'PLUTON!!'" Robin's eyes widen in absolute shock, and she gasps, "...!! BLUEPRINT OF A WEAPON!?" Iceburg explains, "PLUTON WAS CONSTRUCTED ON THIS ISLAND LONG AGO... IT IS A WAR SHIP..." Robin stares at him, completely stunned by this unexpected information.

Iceburg explains the history of the blueprints: "BUT ITS POWER WAS SO GREAT, EVERYONE FEARED IT. BACK THEN, THE ENGINEERS OF THE SHIP WORRIED THAT THE WEAPON MIGHT ONE DAY FALL INTO THE WRONG HANDS. AT WHICH POINT, A POWER THAT CAN MATCH IT MUST EXIST IN ORDER TO STOP IT. THUS, THE BLUEPRINT WAS PASSED DOWN THROUGH GENERATIONS." He continues, "THE WORLD GOVERNMENT... WANTS IT SO BAD, THEY HAVE GONE THIS FAR JUST TO GET IT. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS, AND YOU ARE HELPING THE GOVERNMENT. HOW FOOLISH!" He reveals his thoughts on Robin: "TOM, WHO ENTRUSTED THE BLUEPRINTS TO ME, HAD ALWAYS BEEN UNEASY AROUND THE GIRL... WHO, ALONE, SURVIVED THE OHARA INCIDENT. SHE WAS SO YOUNG, BUT SHE HAD THE SAME DEVILISH MIND AS THE OHARA DEMONS... HAVING INHERITED THE WILL OF THE ENGINEERS BEFORE ME, IT IS MY DUTY TO STOP YOU. AFTER THE WORLD GOVERNMENT FOUND OUT ABOUT THE BLUEPRINT... I SHOULD HAVE JUST BURNED IT."

Iceburg expresses his regret: "BUT I CAN'T DO THAT... BECAUSE AS LONG AS YOU ARE ALIVE... THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE WEAPONS WILL BE AWAKENED FROM THEIR SLUMBER!!" Robin stares at him silently. Before Iceburg can act, Robin uses her Hana Hana no Mi powers. Multiple arms sprout from Iceburg's own body and bed, grabbing his arm and twisting his gun away with a firm "GRAB!" Iceburg groans in pain, "GUH!!" and "uu... UGH..." as he is pinned flat against the bed, completely immobilized by her sprouted hands.

Robin stands over the pinned Iceburg, pointing her gun directly at his face. She asks coldly, "IS THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY... BEFORE YOU DIE?" Iceburg, despite being pinned, chuckles weakly, "HEH... HEH..." and says, "ALTHOUGH... EVEN IF YOU DID KILL ME... WON'T YOUR BLUEPRINT STILL BE TAKEN?" Robin looks slightly surprised. Iceburg continues, "THEN I WILL... TELL YOU ONE MORE THING... THE GROUP THAT WAS REALLY DECEIVED... IS YOURS..." Robin looks at him with a questioning "?" as Iceburg gasps for breath.

The scene shifts to another part of the building. Franky is kneeling on the floor, heavily beaten, bleeding, and gasping for breath. He is holding a rolled-up scroll—the blueprints. Standing before him are two masked CP9 agents: a tall one with a bull mask and horns, and a smaller one in a dark cloak. The tall agent says coldly, "YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR US. NOW... HURRY UP... HAND IT OVER... BEFORE YOU GET BLOOD ALL OVER IT." Franky clutches the scroll tightly, his hands dripping with blood as he glares up at them.

Franky, covered in blood and wounds, chuckles weakly, "HEH... HEH... DAMN IT... I THOUGHT I COULD WIN, TOO..." He looks down at the scroll in his hands. He recalls Iceburg's instructions: "ICEBERG-SAN WANTED... ME TO... ESCAPE IMMEDIATELY... AND JUST SAVING MYSELF... LEAVING THAT THING BEHIND..." The tall, bull-masked CP9 agent stares down at him silently. In a dramatic close-up of the agent's masked face, Franky drops a shocking truth: "BECAUSE THAT THING... IS A FAKE..." The CP9 agent reacts with sudden shock, "!!?"
