On the streets of Pirate Island, civilians and pirates alike panic and flee as a massive figure looms. "HE'S A SAINT...!!" someone yells. Marines shout orders: "DON'T LOSE TRACK OF KOBY!! HUNT HIM DOWN!!" and "PLEASE KEEP GOING!! I'LL ACT AS A DECOY AND KEEP THEM BUSY!! WE WOULDN'T HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT YOU, CAPTAIN KOBY!!" Koby's allies urge him onward while thanking him. In a closer view, Avalo Pizarro laughs "NYAA HA HA HA!!" while a bearded man notes "NAH, TEACH ALWAYS GETS PISSED AT ME FOR CAUSIN' TOO MUCH DAMAGE!" Shiryu stands nearby. Text boxes identify "CORRUPT KING" AVALO PIZARRO, AN ISLAND MAN WHO ATE THE ISLAND-ISLAND FRUIT and SHIRYU OF THE RAIN, AN INVISIBLE MAN WHO ATE THE CLEAR-CLEAR FRUIT. Kuzan (Aokiji) appears, asking "TELL ME... SO, HERO..." Blackbeard lounges in a ruined throne room, laughing "ZE HA HA HA!!" while declaring "THE BLACKBEARD KINGDOM HAS A NICE RING TO IT, DON'T YA THINKI DO YOU LIKE MY IDEA OF MAKING PIRATE ISLAND A FULL-FLEDGED NATION!I IT CAN BE GOVERNMENT AFFILIATED, SO LONG AS I'M KING!!" Others react: "I THINK IT SOUNDS DELUSIONAL!" and "THERE'S NO WAY THEY'D ACKNOWLEDGE A COUNTRY OF CRIMINALS!"

Blackbeard continues "THE NAVY AND GOVERNMENT WOULD COLLAPSE BEFORE THEY ROLL OVER TO A COWARDLY TERRORIST LIKE YOU!!" while taunting Kuzan "BESIDES, I'M KEEPIN' YOU ALIVE TO BE A BARGAINING CHIP AGAINST THEM! C'MON, IT AIN'T NICE TO PISS OFF SOMEONE'S DREAMS!" Kuzan, sweating, declares "I'M A MEMBER OF SWORD!" and "ALSO... YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME..." The crew reacts in shock: "SWORDI THE HELL'S THATI" "WHO ARE NO LONGER RECOGNIZED ON PAPER." "SWORD MEMBERS ARE MARINES..." "HE'S ALREADY GIVEN UP HIS MARINE CODE." "IF HE'S SERIOUS, IT'LL BE A TOTAL BUST. THAT RULES OUT USING HIM, TEACH." "SWORDI" with sound effects like "ドン!!" and "ビキッ!!" A hooded figure with "正" on the back stands in the background.

A man in sunglasses and a dark hat stands before Marine Headquarters, explaining SWORD's structure. "For example, they can fight an emperor like you without authorization... And the Navy can always disavow their actions and cut them loose at any point. Everyone in SWORD has officially resigned their commission. That allows them to ignore certain command protocols..." In a lavish room, Blackbeard lounges with his crew. He laughs wildly, "ZE HA HA HA HA HA! I know which ones I prefer! While others don't hesitate to gnaw on your fingertips! OHHH, I GET IT NOW! SO THAT'S WHY SOME RATS SCURRY AWAY..." A crewmate mutters, "...Still, I ain't budging on this! Let's see how far this plan takes us!" Koby runs across a rooftop, panting, "HUFF. HUFF." A voice commands, "YES, SIR! WE CAN'T HAVE HIM SLIPPIN' AWAY AND RUININ' MY FUN! UNTIL THEN, KEEP HIM LOCKED UP!" Koby kicks a door, "CLANG CLANG," shouting, "BUT THAT DOESN'T CHANGE MY DUTY! I MAY HAVE TEAMED UP WITH A PIRATE..." Inside the prison, a figure in a top hat stands among cells as someone yells, "HE'S IN ONE OF THE DEEPER CELLS!! HEY! I'LL LET YOU OUT IF YOU FREE MORIA-SAMA!!" Koby bursts in, "WEEZ! WEEZ! STOP RIGHT THERE, KOBY!!" Panicked, he thinks, "GOSH, WHAT AM I THINKINGI! IT'S NOT LIKE THEY'D SEND ANYONE JUST TO SAVE ME, RIGHTI WHEN DID I START THINKING THE WORLD REVOLVED AROUND MEI I NEED TO GET A GRIP BEFORE I EMBARRACE MYSELF!!" An explosion rocks the port as attackers charge, "GXAAH!! THEY'RE CRAZY STRONG, WATCH OUT! COME IN!! THREE MARINES ARE ATTACKING THE PORT! WHATI! DID THEY JUST SAY THREE MARINESI! THERE'S NO WAY!"

Chaos erupts at the port as a massive clay-like Marine charges forward. Marines shout, "GYAAH!! STOP THEM!! DAMMIT!! OUR GUNS AREN'T WORKING ON THEM!! WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO PUSH US BACK TO THE TOWN CENTERI! WHO THE HECK ARE THESE GUYSI! THEY'RE SO TOUGH!!" A swordsman slashes, "WOAH! I CUT HIS HEAD OFF!" but the giant reforms, growling, "ENOUGH ALREADY!!" Observers panic, "IS HE MADE OF CLAYI! NO WAY... HE'S A LOGIAI! THAT STINGS..." The giant Marine smashes through buildings. Below, Blackbeard pirates watch, one laughing, "GYA HA HA HA, YEAH RIGHT! YOU'VE HAD ONE DRINK TOO MANY!! WHERE'D THAT KOBY GUY GOI! HEY... DID THAT BUILDING JUST MOVEI HMI WOBBLE"

Kujaku stands with a massive whip, scolding, "AND WIPE THAT DIRTY LOOK OFF YOUR FACE! NO BACK TALK!" A pirate reacts, "WHAT'S WITH THIS CRAZY BROADI...AND MOVE YOUR ASS! BE A GOOD BOY..." She cracks the whip, "IS SHE SCOLDING THE BUILDING... WITH A WHIP...I" Smiling confidently she says, "I'D BE HAPPY TO BREAK YOU IN!" and "AND WHY'RE YOU GUYS STARINGI" The pirates gape, "WHA-I A MARINEI WHATI YOU DON'T GET MANY MARINES AROUND HEREI" Kujaku's identity box appears: "NAVY HQ REAR ADMIRAL (SWORD MEMBER) KUJAKU* A TAMER WOMAN WHO ATE THE WHIP-WHIP FRUIT (GRANDDAUGHTER OF GREAT STAFF OFFICER TSURU)" As fighting intensifies, allies yell, "EVERYONE GET READY TO PUMP HIM FULLA LEAD! Gun barrels erupt with clouds of flowers instead of bullets. Pirates stare in shock as petals fill the air. "WOW.. THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!!" "WHAT THE HECKI" "...FLOWERSI" "FIRE!!!" A goggled pirate yells in confusion. From the side, a voice calls out, "HIBARI-SAN, IS THAT YOUI!" "THESE MUST BE GP FLOWERS! WHO THE HELL DID THISI!" "WAIT!! WHAT AM I SAYINGI!" "WHY'RE THE GUNS MAKING FLOWERSI!" Hibari, a young woman with headphones and striped leggings, aims a massive bazooka-like weapon. She declares, "I USED FLOWER BULLETS, SO THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO USE THEIR GUNS FOR A WHILE!" and adds firmly, "I AIN'T HERE TO HELP YA, I WAS GOING OUT FOR LUNCH AND JUST HAPPENED TO BE IN THE AREA! AND DON'T GET THE WRONG IDEA!" A label identifies her as "NAVY HQ COMMANDER (MEMBER OF SWORD) HIBARI".

A close-up shows a determined face. "WE'RE ALL SET." "SOUNDS LIKE KOBY'S SAFE TOO." Nearby, someone asks, "PRINCE! WHAT'S YOUR STATUSI" The reply comes, "YO." Prince Grus, a tall man in a fur-trimmed coat and cap, stands with a small clay-like golem figure beside him. He asks, "HOW ARE THINGS ON YOUR ENDI" Below, a panicked voice shouts, "DID THE BUILDINGS MOVE OR SOMETHINGI! WHAT THE HECKI! I DON'T REMEMBER THE TOWN CENTER LOOKING LIKE THIS!" Grus answers calmly, "ALL GOOD. AIM RIGHT FOR THE MIDDLE!" The golem is labeled "GOLEM". A box identifies Grus as "NAVY HQ VICE ADMIRAL (MEMBER OF SWORD) PRINCE GRUS A CLAY MAN WHO ATE THE SQUELCH-SQUELCH FRUIT". The massive clay foot stomps down as the command rings out, "BLAST OFF!!" In the cockpit, Grus and allies grin: "HE HE HE!" "EVERYONE, HANG ON TIGHT!" "PREPARATIONS COMPLETE!"

Pirates react in terror to a massive figure. "YOU'RE KIDDING... IT'S THE LEGENDARY HERO...!!" "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE, ISN'T HE RETIREDI!" "ISN'T THAT-I!" A flying battleship appears in the sky above the island town. "HMI" "WHA-I" "HUuuuuuUHI!" Vice Admiral Garp stands atop the airborne ship, laughing wildly, "BWA HA HA HA HA!!" Someone screams, "IT'S VICE ADMIRAL GARP!!!" Onlookers panic: "WAIT, IS SOMEONE STANDING ON ITI!" "IS THAT A NAVY BATTLESHIP FLYING UP THEREI!" "I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEIN'!!" Garp's ship hurtles downward as voices cry, "THIS IS NO TIME FOR QUESTIONS, LET'S BOOK IT!!!" "CRAP! THERE'S TOO MANY OF US PACKED IN HERE! WE'RE TRAPPED!" "IT'S NO USE! THERE'S NO WAY OUT OF THE CENTER NOW!" "SCREW RUNNING, NOWHERE ON THE ISLAND IS SAFE! WE NEED TO SET SAIL!!" "RUN FOR IT!!"

Garp's enormous fist smashes through the air with the cry "GALAXY FIST!!" The impact cracks the island apart, sending buildings and debris flying in a massive shockwave. "KA-BOOM!!" Screams echo: "UGYAAAAA AAAAAAH!!" "A HERO'S RAMPAGE!!" Garp's face fills a panel as he roars, "LISTEN UP, YOU PIRATE TURDS!! YOU SHOULD'VE THOUGHT TWICE BEFORE YOU KIDNAPPED KOBY!! HE'S THE FUTURE OF THE MARINES! HE'S ALSO MY IRRE-PLACEABLE PROTEGE!! NOT TO MENTION..." Pirates tumble through the destruction. One terrified face stammers, "WHY WOULD YOU GO THIS FAR FOR MEI! BUT... WHY..." The chapter ends with the title "ONE PIECE" and the note "CH.1080 / END BREAK NEXT WEEK".
