A large SFX "ドーン" echoes. Further narration: "THE BARREL TIGER CONTINUES ITS DESPERATE PURSUIT!" In the water, Nami, Usopp, and others ride in barrel-like boats amid giant corals. Nami says, "BECAUSE OF THAT, THE SEA CURRENTS ARE MOVING STRANGELY..." Usopp replies, "... HEY LOOK." Nami continues, "WE PROBABLY SHOULDN'T JUST BLINDLY CHARGE IN..." A voice asks, "WHAT'S THISI THE AREA IS COVERED WITH GIANT CORALS..." Someone shouts, "MOUNDA, WE'RE DEPENDING ON YOU!!" Another warns, "WE WASTED TOO MUCH TIME EARLIER, SO WE HAVE TO GET WIN IT BACK HERE." A shark-like boat charges forward with SFX "SHANN N!!!"

Foxy the Silver Fox leaps dramatically with SFX "ばんっ!!" and "ピピッ". Narration and dialogue declare: "HE IS OUR BOSS, FOXY THE SILVER FOX!!!" Foxy laughs "HEHEHEH..." while a voice warns, "THERE IS SOMEONE ON THE DRY LAND WAITING TO UNLEASH HIS WRATH. DON'T FORGET." SFX "ピピッ" and "ピピピッ" accompany his movements. A close-up shows Foxy's grinning face as he says, "NO ONE CAN SURVIVE MY EVIL SCHEMES!!!" An underling asks, "WHAT IS HE PLANNING!!I" Hambog replies, "GET AHEAD OF THEM, HAMBOG!!" and "OKAY, BOSS." In a bustling street scene, a large bearded man yells, "YO, BOY. WANT SOMETHING TO EAT!I" Luffy looks surprised as voices shout, "WHO ELSE WANTS TO FIGHT!I" "YAHOO. IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME NOW!!!" "WHAT EXCITING THINGS WILL HAPPEN NEXT!!I" and "GO GET THEM, BOSSっ~!!!!"

In a lively crowd, women flirt with Sanji: "EHEHEH♡ IT SEEMS THAT LOOSING ISN'T HALF BAD HERE~~~~♡" and "I LIKE YOU BEST, PRETTY-BOY CHEF. COME HERE.♡" Sanji responds enthusiastically, "REALLY!!! THANKS A TON!!! IT LOOKS DELITMOUTH ~~~~~" while holding plates and saying, "ALL FREE!!! HERE'S SOME INARI SUSHI AND KITSUNE UDON!!" Chopper stands nearby with cotton candy, asking, "EHI WHAT'S THATI IS IT SWEETI" A voice offers, "WANT SOME APPLEI" Someone calls, "YOU'RE UP NEXT ROUND RIGHTI SHOW ME SOME SPIRITS!!" and "THIS BROTHER SURE CAN DRINK!!!" A man complains, "HEY, WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF RUM HERE!" Chopper wonders, "HEHE. IS THIS A LITTLE AWKWARDI" Narration announces: "USING THIS OPPORTUNITY, CUTIE WAGON EXTENDS HER LEAD!!!" and "SHE IS ENTERING THE LONG CORAL AREA~~~~!!!!" On the water, voices shout, "WHAT ARE YOU DOINGI ROW!" "HEY, NAMI," "BARREL TIGER SUDDENLY SLOWED DOWN!" and "UH-OH. WHAT HAPPENED!I" with SFX "シャァァァ" and "ファン".

Usopp stares in shock, shouting "EH...I!I" as the chaos erupts. Mounda yells "MOUNDA!I" while another voice cries "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!I" and commands "CHARGE, MOUNDA!!! GO!!" The cutie wagon lurches violently. "WHAT IS HAPPENING!I" someone exclaims as "OOOH!I CUTIE WAGON SUDDENLY MOVED BACKWARD!!" fills the air. "STOP FOOLING AROUND!!" rings out amid "SHAWN!!!" and "IT TURNED AROUND..." Nami grips her weapon and declares with a smile, "I KNEW IT. THE CURRENT IS THE KEY HERE. IT'S OUR TURN. LET'S GO." Usopp panics, "NOT THIS WAY!!!" as the wagon spins again. A voice warns, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, MOUNDA!I CHARGE!!!!" while Mounda screams "SHA--!!!"

Narration explains the shifting currents: "ON THE OTHER HAND, THE BARREL TIGER HAS BEGUN TO MOVE FORWARD AGAIN. NOW THE TWO BOATS ARE BOTH TACKLING THE CORAL AREA!!" Opponents shout "NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THE CUTIE WAGON TRIES TO MOVE FORWARD, IT GETS PUSHED BACK!I HOW TRAGIC!!!!" and "AGAIN, MOUNDA!!" with "SHA!" effects. Nami reacts with "EH!I" as a sudden "ZUBAH!!!" sound erupts. "WAH!I WHAT'S THAT!I" someone cries. Below, a figure notes "TH... THIS IS..." while another warns "THAT DANGEROUS MAN... HAS MADE HIS MOVE!!!" as "FUEH FUEH FUEH!!!" echoes.

Smoke fills the scene as voices shout "WITHOUT THEIR EYES, THE BARREL TIGER... WILL RISK RUNNING INTO SOMETHING EVERY TIME THEY MOVE!!" and "WAH THIS SMOKE!" A striped figure yells "WHAT A DIRTY, DIRTY TRICK!!!" Foxy appears dramatically, laughing "FUEHHEHE-HEHE!!!" and declaring "GO ON! CHARGE WITHOUT YOUR SIGHT AND RAM INTO THOSE CORALS!! FUEHEHE HEHE!!! BEHOLD, MY WHITE SMOKE ATTACK!!" while an ally cheers "PURUFU FU!! SUCCESS!!" and another calls him "NOW THAT IS A MODEL VILLAIN!!!" The Barrel Tiger crew reacts in horror: "IMPOSSIBLE! THEY PASSED IT WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT!!" and "WUWUWUW. NOO!!!" as massive "ZUBAH-!!!" effects explode.

The cutie wagon remains stuck as narration states "YET, THE CUTIE WAGON REMAINS STUCK AT THE EDGE OF THE CORAL AREA!!!" and "NOT ONLY THAT, THE BARREL TIGER IS ZOOMING THROUGH THE FOREST OF CORALS AND MAKING AMAZING PROGRESS!!!" Nami questions "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!I" while the Barrel Tiger advances. Nami explains the strategy: "WAS TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT PATH AND THE CURRENTS WOULD TAKE US THROUGH. A CHAIN OF SMALLER WHIRLPOOLS ARE FORMED IN THIS AREA! ALL I NEEDED TO DO... BECAUSE OF THE GIANT WHIRLPOOL BEHIND THE CORALS, YUP. THIS PLACE IS THE MAZE OF THE CURRENTS!! THE BOAT IS MOVING ON ITS OWN!!I" She smiles confidently. Foxy rages "BASTARDS!!" as allies cheer "AWESOME!! WITNESS THE SKILLS OF OUR AMAZING NAVIGATOR!!" and note "WITH THAT, WE CAN LITERALLY PASS THIS PLACE WITH OUR EYES CLOSED."

The Barrel Tiger hurtles through raging waters as Usopp screams in terror. "USOP, STOP SCREAMING. DO LONG THINGS COME IN TWO, TOO!I GYAAAAAAAAAH NNNN!!!" A massive voice booms, "DON'T CELEBRATE JUST YET! THE TERRIFYING LONG WHIRL-POOL IS UP NEXT!!!" The crew stares in shock. "D... DID YOU PLAN ALL OF THIS IN THE BEGINNINGI OTHERWISE, THE WHIRL-POOL WILL SWALLOW US. SO CALM..." Nami shouts, "GET READY TO USE 'IMPACT.'" The barrel spins wildly out of control. "IYAAAAH!! THE BARREL TIGER IS STILL SPEEDING UP!!!"

The Barrel Tiger is launched skyward. "THEY FLEW OVER THE WHIRLPOOL AND ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LONG GAP!!!" Nami realizes, "NO... THEY ARE NOT JUST SPEEDING UP... THE ENTIRE BOAT FLEW!!!!" Robin watches calmly while Chopper panics, "ANDn NNNN!!!" The craft crashes down safely on the far side. "WHAT AN UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS!!!I THEY LANDED SAFELY!!! WILL THE INVINCIBLE CUTIE WAGON LOSE LIKE THIS!!!I"

Foxy's team launches a counterattack. "FUSION!! TURBO SHARKMAN!!! DON'T COUNT US OUT YET!!! IT'S ALL UP TO YOU NOW!" The blazing boat smashes through coral. "THE BLAZING BOAT SHATTERS ALL THE CORALS IN ITS WAY TO CATCH UP WITH THE LEADER! IT'S NOT OVER YET. THEY HAVE COMBINED THE STRENGTH OF THE FISHMAN WITH THE TAIL OF THE SHARK!!!" Nami stands on the shore watching the chaos. "I THINK I TWISTED MY WRIST... WHERE AM I!I USOP, WAKE UP!!! THE RACE IS HALFWAY DONE AND IN THE LEAD, WE HAVE THE EVER-STRUGGLING BARREL TIGER!!"

Nami spots a signpost. "LOOK. IT'S A SIGN! OKAY. LET'S TURN RIGHT NOW!! 'TURN RIGHTI'" The sign reads "ドーナツレース 右へ" (Donuts Race, turn right). Foxy's crew reacts in horror. "WHAT A FORMIDABLE FOE! IS THIS WOMAN UNTRUSTING OF EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD!I AMAZING! THEY SAW THROUGH BOSS' TRICK #18 'FAKE SIGN ATTACK'!!! NOT ONLY A IDIOT WOULD'VE FALL FOR THAT!I" The Barrel Tiger veers off course and flies into the air. "SHOOTING HIGH INTO THE AIR, IT'S THE LONG RIPPLE!!! WHERE ARE THESE PILLARS OF WATER COMING FROM!I WAAAH! WATCH OUT!!! ANYWAYS, THE RACE CONTINUES AND THE BARREL TIGER FACES A NEW CHALLENGE."

On the open sea, voices from the pursuing boats mock the Straw Hats. "NAMI THE NAVIGATOR IS ALSO VERY HEARTLESS AND CRUEL!!" "SHE PRETENDS THAT SHE DIDN'T SEE THEM!!" "EXCUSE ME, CAPTAIN OF THAT BOAT. PLEASE PITY US AND HELP US..." "AH... I CAN'T... MOVE..." "GRANNY... GRANNY...!!!! GRANNY..." "AND NOW, OUR BOSS STRIKES ONCE MORE..." Aboard the lead vessel an old woman snaps back, "YOU ARE ANNOYING, IDIOT I WOULD NEVER FALL FOR THAT!!" while a small sign reads "VERY PROFANE!!" Ahead, the race intensifies. "VICTORY SEEMS TO BE AT HAND FOR THE LEADER!!!!" someone shouts as a massive "GOAL" banner looms over the waves. "LOOK! OVER THERE!! IT'S THE FINISH LINE!!!!" cries a wide-eyed spectator. The barrel boat surges forward while the cutie wagon closes in. "OF THE DONUT RACEN~~~!I!I" "WHO WILL END UP AS THE VICTOR" "STEADY NOW...!!" "BUT WAIT, THE CUTIE WAGON IS CATCHING UP FAST!!!"

The barrel boat smashes straight through the fake goal banner in a massive impact. "SHE DID IT AGAIN!! NOT EVEN THE 'FAKE GOAL ATTACK' COULD STOP HER!!!" "IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!" A furious voice yells, "DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO QUIT IT ALREADY!!!!" while huge letters spell out the crash "バキィッ!!!" and a long scream "あぁぁぁぁぁ" echoes. In the next panels a pale figure demands, "DO YOU EVER BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU SEEI" only to be told "EXCUSE ME MISS. GO TO HELL!!!" "SHE HAS LOST IT!!" Nearby, the real finish line is discussed: "THE REAL FINISH LINE MUST BE CLOSE." "HEY, I CAN'T DO ANOTHER IMPACT, BY THE WAY." "I KNOW." "SHE IS A TOUGH FOE INDEED!!" On the shore, panic spreads. "WHERE IS EVERYBODY!I" "DID WE WIN!I" "PORCH'S TEAM HAS STOPPED AT THE FAKE FINISH LINE!!" "ANYHOW, A TRAGEDY HAS TAKEN PLACE!!!" "HER TRUSTING AND INNOCENT MIND SHINES BRIGHTLY IN COMPARISON TO CERTAIN SOMEONE'S. HOWEVER, SHE MUST REALIZE HER MISTAKE QUICKLY!!!"

The race is two-thirds complete. "THE RACE IS 2/3 DONE, AND THE BARREL TIGER IS STILL IN THE LEAD!!!" A swordsman on the barrel boat shouts, "MORE TERRIBLY, WE WILL LOOSE A FRIEND!!!" while a blonde companion adds, "IF I LOOSE TO IDIOTS LIKE THOSE, I WILL BE TOO ASHAMED TO STAY ALIVE!!" The boat smashes another fake goal. "WHAT!!I WHO COULD'VE DONE SUCH A LOWLY THING!!!" "DAMN IT! THIS IS A FAKE FINISH LINE!!" Nami stares ahead and cries, "IT'S TRUE. I CAN SEE IT! THE FINISH LINE IS JUST AHEAD!" From the pursuing vessel Usopp is called, "USOPP, SEE THAT!I CAN YOU HIT THAT BAMBOO TREE!I" "HOLD ON... THEY'RE CATCHING UP!!" "WE WON'T BE ABLE TO BEAT THEM IN SPEED." The barrel boat races toward the bamboo shore as motion lines show the frantic paddling.

The cutie wagon accelerates. "RAM THEM INTO BITS!!!" "FULL SPEED AHEAD!! KAPOUTI!!! MOUNDA!!!" "YES, SHOOT MORE!!" A voice answers "SHAH nnn!!! OK" while another cheers "YES~~~!! BINGO!!!" The wagon smashes into the bamboo structure with a huge crash "ボウウゥ!!!" and a long scream "IYAAAAAH!!!" A masked girl gasps "EH!I" as debris flies. Nami reacts in shock, "OH NO!!!" while the wagon crew yells "I WON'T FORGIVE THEM!!!" "NO MERCY..." The final panel shows the barrel boat occupants staring in horror as the cutie wagon looms overhead. "OH NO... KAPOUTE!!!" "CUTIE BATON!!" The wagon crashes down amid flowers and impact effects.

A massive explosion of roses erupts as a figure unleashes Rose Shuriken!!!! The attack fills the air with spinning flower blades and impact lines. A shocked man with a metal helmet yells, "WHATI A TRICK THAT SPAWN FLOWERS!I" Below, the race continues at full speed. A woman in the lead boat shouts "WATCH OUT!!!" as another screams "WUUAAAH!!!" amid flying debris and rose petals. The boat barrels forward while the crowd reacts with panic. In the final panel the finish line marked "GOAL" looms ahead. One rider yells "LET'S CHARGE!!!" Another adds "LOOK, THE FINISH LINE IS RIGHT THERE!!!" A third states "IT'S FINE. WE CAN MAKE IT!!" while a fourth warns "THIS IS BAD, SHE PUNCHED HOLES IN THE SHIP!!!" The boat races across the water toward the goal structure.

The frantic race pushes toward the finish. Voices shout "WE CAN'T LOOSE THOSE THREE!!!" "MOUNDA, CHARGE!!!" "OKAY, BOSS!!" and "GO NEXT TO THEM! WE MUSTN'T LOOSE!!!" A large speech bubble declares "THIS IS IT. DAVY BACK FIGHT ROUND 1..." The crowd cheers wildly with signs and raised arms, one yelling "YEAH! PORCH!!" while another announces "THE DONUT RACE* IS ABOUT TO END!!!" A massive starburst panel shows the boats nearing the finish line arch marked "AL" as spectators scream. In the final panel the crowd erupts in celebration: "NAMI~~~CHAN YOUR NIMBLE BODIES ARE ALWAYS SO BEAUTIFUL" with hearts, "YEEY!!!" and "NAMI WON!!!" while fans wave and cheer.

Foxy grins widely and declares "IT'S A BEAM!! HE SHOT A BEAM!!!!" while another voice notes "BOSS IS LIKE YOU... HE ALSO HAS DEVIL FRUIT POWER." In the stands a spectator laughs "HAHAHAH. NOT YOU'RE NOT." as others comment "HUHI WE'RE GOING TO WIN!" "TOO BAD. YOU GUYS CAME CLOSE." and "HEY, YOU!! YOU THREE ARE PRETTY TOUGH!!" A woman with short hair realizes "IT'S HIM AGAIN!!" Below, Foxy on a raised platform fires his attack. A large bubble reads "BEAM~~~ ~!!!" followed by the glowing label "NORO-NORO" as circular slow beams streak across the water toward the distant boats. The targeted crew reacts with shock: "!!I"
