Chapter 347 opens under the One Piece logo with the title "Rokushiki". The cover story reads: "Gedatsu's Carefree Life in the Blue Seas Vol. 31: 'That's Bantouhead Clerk, Gedatsu-sama'". Gedatsu fills the central illustration, sweating heavily and screaming with his mouth stretched wide, his strange hair curving like dark arches behind him. The cover story pauses the main plot for a gag-like beat, presenting Gedatsu in an exaggerated, panicked pose before the chapter returns to the crisis inside Iceberg's mansion.

Inside the shattered mansion, Luffy bursts into the scene and sees the impossible lineup before him: Robin stands calmly at the far side, while the masked figures have revealed themselves as people the Straw Hats already knew. From the side, someone shouts, "HEY!! LUFFY!!! WHERE'VE YA BEEN ALL THIS TIME?!!" Nami and Chopper stare in confusion and relief, asking, "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?" and crying, "ROBIN!! Others beg, "STOP IT, PAULIE!!!" but Paulie's betrayal and rage have already boiled over.

Paulie attacks with all the anger of a betrayed friend, swinging his ropes and calling, "PIPE HITCH KNIVES!!!" The ropes whip through the wrecked mansion with metallic "CLINK CLINK" sounds as he glares at Lucci. Lucci does not retreat. Standing in silhouette, he lets Paulie's charge come in and calmly names a technique: "SHIGAN." In the next instant, his finger drives into Paulie's body like a weapon. Blood bursts from the impact, Paulie's expression breaks into disbelief, and the watching room reacts with a shocked "!!!!?" The page turns the emotional betrayal into physical proof: CP9's bodies are weapons, and Paulie's ropes cannot reach Lucci before Lucci pierces him.

Paulie reels from the puncturing blow, blood spraying as voices cry, "PAULIE!!!" Lucci looks down on him and says, "YOU STILL DON'T GET IT...!?" Luffy, horrified by the attack, shouts, "HEY!!! I'M TREATING YA 'CAUSE I WAS LUCKY TODAY!!" with a request for "BLUENO, MORE BEER!!" Kalifa stood among coworkers while someone joked, "KALIFA, DON'T YOU FEEL ANY SHAME DRESSING LIKE THAT!?" and Paulie protested, "FORGET IT, PAULIE!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO LOOK!!" Now those harmless memories have become evidence of a long deception.

Lucci stands over Paulie and declares, "NO MATTER. YOUR LIFE WILL EXPIRE, EITHER WAY... THOUGH WE WERE FRIENDS..." Paulie, wounded and shaking with fury, screams back, "LUCCI!! YOU BASTARD!!!" The room has no time to breathe before Luffy launches himself into the space between them, yelling, "STOP IT!!!" Robin's expression hardens as she declares, "I WILL NOT LET ANYONE INTERFERE!!!!" The Straw Hats are shaken: "ROBIN!! WHAT'RE YOU DOING!!?" "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, ROBIN!?" Luffy stares in disbelief, and Usopp/Sogeking screams the question none of them wants answered: "ARE YOU REALLY... OUR ENEMY!!? ROBIN!!!"

CP9 prepares to leave the wrecked mansion. One of them says, "WE HAVE NO MORE BUSINESS IN THIS MANSION... ...AND WE DON'T HAVE BUSINESS WITH YOUR LOT, EITHER." Kaku addresses the Straw Hats with forced courtesy: "I'M SORRY, BUT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO STOP YOU RIGHT NOW... WE HAVE TO FIND A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON AFTER THIS, SO WE'RE IN A HURRY." Lucci asks, "KALIFA, HOW MUCH LONGER?" and Kalifa replies, "...2 MINUTES." Kaku clarifies, "THIS IS SUDDEN, BUT... IN 2 MINUTES, THIS MANSION WILL BE ENGULFED IN FLAMES." Luffy snaps, "WHAT!?" Lucci explains the logic: "FIRE IS A VERY CONVENIENT WAY OF DESTROYING EVIDENCE." Then comes the warning: "I SUGGEST YOU EVACUATE QUICKLY... IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BURN TO DEATH, THAT IS..."

CP9 stands together like a wall at the end of the ruined hall. The challenge is left hanging in two huge phrases: "IF..." and "YOU CAN." Below, Zoro interprets the situation grimly: "IT LOOKS LIKE THEY MEAN TO ELIMINATE US. NICO ROBIN SEEMS TO WANT TO STAY ON THE OTHER SIDE..."
