In the dim basement of C-Block, a gloved hand reaches out as a voice calls 'MOMONOSUKEI' A reply comes, 'YES, THAT I AM!!' with heavy breaths 'HAA HAA'. Narration notes the location as 'THE BASEMENT OF C-BLOCK- THE "TRASH CAN"- LUFFY'S SIDE'. Nearby, two figures in Marine-like uniforms discuss, 'I HEARD THAT NAME SOMEWHERE' and 'WHERE WAS ITI'. One adds, 'I KNOW NOT, THAT MUST HAVE BEEN SOMEONE ELSE, THAT IT MUST. BUT NEVERMIND THAT, THOU...!!!'. Luffy suddenly appears, growling with drool, 'MMMI' as a dragon-like creature yells 'STOP THINE SALIVATING!!' with a loud impact sound.

The dragon creature, labeled 'Momonosuke (DRAGON)', roars at Luffy, 'TRY TO EAT ME AND I MAY RETURN THE FAVOR!! I AM NO FOODSTUFF, THAT I AM NOT!!'. Luffy retorts with 'PREPARE THINESELF!!' amid heavy breathing and impact effects. The creature snaps back, 'STOP THINE SALIVATING!!'. Luffy stares in shock, 'EHH!I THIS EEL IS ACTUALLY SPEAKING!! I AM NO EEL!!'. Nearby, the dragon questions, 'IS HE TALKING WITH FARTSI' while Luffy wonders, 'HMMI IS THAT "MOMONOSUKE" STUCK SOMEWHERE AROUND HERE'. The creature protests, 'OF WHAT NONSENSE DOST THOU SPEAK!!' as Luffy is knocked back with an 'OOF!!'.

Luffy declares excitedly, 'I'M LUFFY!! THE MAN WHO'LL BECOME KING OF THE PIRATES!!' The dragon replies, 'BUT WHO ART THOU, AND WHY HAST THOU COME HERE... DO NOT SPEAK SO FOOLISHLY... A SAMURAI DOES NOT STARVE AFTER A MERE TEN DAYS... TO SUGGEST THAT I WOULD HUNGER HAA... HAA...'. Luffy reacts with surprise '!!I'. The dragon continues, 'YOU SOUND PRETTY HUNGRY TOO, HUH.' with a stomach growl. Luffy looks puzzled as the dragon spits, 'P...P...P...P...!!'. The creature then says, 'I SEE. THOU ART ALSO AN OUTSIDER... WHATEVER YOU SAY, EEL. NOW HOW DO WE...'. Luffy stands firm, 'I AM MOMONOSUKE, THAT I AM!!'.

A massive impact rocks the lab as debris flies and a dark shape crashes down. "UH... UHHH!!!" someone cries while another voice shouts "WHAT THE!I" The floor buckles under the force. In the next tier of panels a small girl with pigtails stares in shock, "EH!I" as scaly limbs and a long tail thrash into view. A dragon's head emerges amid the chaos, roaring and flailing. Luffy gapes from the side, "WHAT'S GOING ON!!!I" while the creature itself wails "UWAH HHHHH HHHH!!!" A voice wonders in disbelief, "...!I D... DRAGON...!I"

The girl covers her mouth in alarm as the group examines a broken container. "THE 'ARTIFICIAL DEVIL FRUIT' THAT VEGAPUNK MADE. I HEARD IT WAS A FAILURE, BUT..." one figure notes while another confirms, "TAKE A LOOK. IT WAS DEFINITELY HERE." The dragon writhes in pain, "UWAHHHHHH," as the girl watches in horror. The creature then speaks in a trembling voice, "EH... I CAN REALLY T...TURN... BACKI TO MY PREVIOUS FORMI WELL, I'M NO ZOAN, SO I DON'T KNOW... BUT MAN, IS IT A LONG WAY UP TO THE TOP. I CAN'T EVEN SEE THE HOLE I FELL THROUGH. SO JUST GO BACK AND TURN INTO A HUMAN. AH, SO IT WAS A DEVIL FRUIT...!! YOU MUST BE AN 'EEL MAN.' IN SHORT, I TRULY AM HUMAN."

Luffy stands amid the wreckage, piecing things together. "THEY MAY THINK HIM A DOCTOR OF MEDICINE... BUT IN TRUTH HE IS A SCOUNDREL WHO INTENDS TO SEE THEM ALL DEAD. I CHANCED TO OVERHEAR SOMETHING FROM THAT CAESAR FELLOW...!!! SO THAT I MAY TELL THE CHILDREN!!! I ALSO WISH TO ESCAPE." The dragon's face twists as Caesar's voice echoes in flashback, "BUT IN THIS EXPERIMENT, THERE'S A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH OF THE DRUGS I CAN ADMINISTER. THEIR BODIES WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE IT. AND THE GIGANTIFICATION OF THE OTHERS IS PROCEEDING NICELY...!!! WE'VE GOT ANOTHER BUNCH OF GOOD, OBEDIENT BRATS THIS TIME. IT'S THE VERY NATURE OF EXPERIMENTS. NOT ONE WILL BE LEFT ALIVE!! Luffy's eyes blaze beneath his hat as he growls, "CAESAR..." Nearby, the dragon-child Momonosuke explains, "I ONLY THOUGHT TO HIDE MYSELF HERE WHILE EN ROUTE TO INFORM THEM, BUT..." Luffy turns to him, "MY FRIENDS ALREADY WENT TO SAVE THEM!! THE KIDS SHOULD BE FINE. THEY ALWAYS FOLLOW THROUGH!! SO DON'T WORRY!!" Momonosuke hesitates, "...EH...BUT HOW..." Luffy grabs the dragon's head, "I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE, AND YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!! ALRIGHT, MOMO!! I'LL CLIMB THE WALL, SO GRAB AHOLD OF ME!!" The dragon protests, "HEY GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF!! WHAT'S THE MATTER TO YOU, DYING OF HUNGER!I" while Luffy answers, "THAT BEING THE CASE, I WILL LEAVE THE MATTER TO THEM. SURELY YOU ARE NO PIR-..."

Luffy clings to the back of a massive serpentine dragon as it thrashes wildly through the air. The dragon roars in panic, "UWAHHHH!!!" while Luffy yells, "GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF!!!!" The beast's eyes bulge with shock as motion lines and impact symbols fill the panel. Luffy's face appears in a small inset, eyes sparkling with excitement as he exclaims "OOH." and "EH!I" The dragon continues its frantic flight, clouds and debris swirling around them. Smaller panels show Luffy's crew reacting below: "WE'RE FLYING!!" one shouts as the group is sent flying backward by the dragon's wild movements. Large stylized sound effects explode across the page: "ドビュン!!!" and "WAH HHHH HH!!" as the dragon and Luffy soar higher, the dragon's jaws wide open in terror and exhilaration.

Usopp, wearing a large white hat and goggles, speaks with concern: "WELL, I GUESS AS LONG AS ZORO'S THERE... WILL NAMI AND THE OTHERS REALLY BE ALRIGHT WITHOUT ME, BACK THERE!I" A map inset labels the location as "B-BLOCK, 2ND FLOOR, INTERIOR-EXAMINATION ROOM PASSAGE." Below, Kin'emon, Brook, and Usopp form the "Seastone Cuffs and Momonosuke Search Team!!" Brook apologizes dramatically, "MY APOLOGIES, SIR CORPSE!! WE MUST RELY ON YOUR SORCERY!!" while yelling "YOHoho! LET'S TAKE A LOOK ON THIS OTHER SIDE OF THIS WALL!!" Usopp calls out, "BROOK, LET US KNOW IF YOU FIND ANY SEASTONE CUFFS!!" and notes "ROBIN ASKED FOR SOME!!" In a lower panel, Zoro stands with a grim expression, sweat drop visible, as an explosion rocks the SAD production room marked "D-BLOCK - S.A.D. PRODUCTION ROOM" with loud SFX "ドゴォン!!" and "ダダーン!!"

A massive clash erupts as Law and Smoker battle Vergo, the panel labeled "Law and Smoker vs. Vergo." Vergo's powerful strike sends shockwaves and debris flying. In another section, a G-5 marine shouts "TO THE BISCUIT ROOM!! THIS WAY, EVERYONE!!" while pointing urgently. A map shows "B-BLOCK APPROACHING THE BISCUIT ROOM." Further panels depict panicked G-5 soldiers fleeing through corridors: "WE'RE RUNNING!!" and "CUT IT OUT, BRO!! WE'RE RUNNING!!" One marine yells "DON'T KICK ME!!" as they scramble past signs reading "B-02F" amid smoke and chaos. The group rushes desperately toward the Biscuit Room while the fight against Vergo rages above.

Sanji, Tashigi, and G-5 marines clash with the deadly gas "Shinokuni." A marine is sent flying with the cry "YOWC HHHHH HHHH!!" and "OOF!!! THERE'S NO NEED!!" The panel is labeled "Sanji, Tashigi, and G-5 vs. Deadly Gas, 'Shinokuni'." Sanji yells at the others, "STOP COMPLAINING!! JUST HURRY TO THE BISCUIT ROOM!!" In the lower section, Nami desperately warns everyone: "STOP, EVERYONE!! YOU MUSTN'T EAT THAT CANDY!!" while clutching a small figure. She shivers violently, exclaiming "COLD! IT'S LIKE A BLIZZARD IN HERE!!" and "MOCHYA!! RUUUUN AWAY!!" A note explains the gas's effects and the "YUKI-ONNA" reference. The map inset shows "B-BLOCK-3RD FLOOR-THE BISCUIT ROOM" as the group flees the freezing, candy-filled gas attack.

Robin clashes fiercely with Monet in a flurry of strikes, shouting "DON'T GET IN MY WAY" as Monet recoils with a pained "UHH HHHH HH!!" and large impact effects. In a nearby panel Monet crosses her arms desperately, thinking "IF I CAN SLOW THEM DOWN JUST A BIT...!!!" while yelling "NO!! OPEN YOUR EYES, EVERYONE!!" The children swarm her, pleading "DON'T HOG IT ALL!!" "WAIT, MOCHYA!!" and "GIVE US THE CANDY!!" On the left, Zoro commands "YOU GUYS GO AND TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS!!!" while declaring "OUR ENEMY IS A LOGIA!! LEAVE HER TO ME!!" Robin fights on with sword and wing-like effects amid motion lines. The scene erupts into chaos as the structure collapses around panicked children and fighters; a massive "COLLAPSE" label appears as debris flies. Luffy's voice laughs "LUFU!!" with a heart. Robin is called out with "ROBIN!!" A timer box warns "ABOUT 20 MINUTES!!" and "TIME REMAINING UNTIL THE DEADLY GAS, SHINOKUNI, FILLS B-BLOCK." At the bottom a caption reads "Vs. 'Yuki-Onna' Monet" beside the names "Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Robin."
