MY NAME IS FRANKY

Nami is kneeling beside a heavily injured and bleeding Usopp in a city street. She looks concerned and says, "HE'S INJURED REALLY BADLY... BETTER NOT MOVE AROUND TOO MUCH..." She continues, "USOPP... WAIT HERE. I'LL GO BACK TO THE SHIP. I'LL GET HELP AND I'LL TELL CHOPPER TO TEND YOUR WOUNDS HERE." She stands up, adding, "I THINK THE FRANKYS' BASE IS JUST AHEAD, WE'LL DEFINITELY GET THEM BACK!!" Suddenly, Usopp weakly grabs her arm. He mutters, "DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE MONEY..." Nami gasps in shock, "<SFX> GASP", "!!!". She turns back to him, yelling, "DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE MONEY... CAN YOU HEAR ME, USOPP!? WAIT HERE!!" Usopp's face is battered, bandaged, and covered in blood as he lies on the cobblestone street surrounded by onlookers.

Nami runs away from Usopp, looking back over her shoulder as she yells, "I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!!" She then jumps onto a Yagara bull and speeds through the waterways of Water 7. She urges the creature on, "FASTER, YAGARA!! NII! NII!! NIII!!!" The Yagara splashes through the water, causing background citizens to panic and shout, "AH!! THAT BULL HAS GONE BERSERK!!" As she rides, Nami recalls a conversation with the Galley-La shipwrights. In a flashback panel, Iceburg, wearing his Galley-La hat, tells her, "WE CAN NOT FIX THAT SHIP. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PAY..." Nami looks distressed as she thinks, "WE WERE FINALLY... ABLE TO FIX GOING MERRY..."

Nami continues her frantic ride on the Yagara bull through the city's canals. She grips the reins tightly, thinking, "BE IT REPAIRING, REBUILDING, OR BUYING A NEW SHIP... WE'LL NEED THAT WHOLE 300 MILLION, IF WE WANT TO SURVIVE IN THE SEA BEYOND..." The Yagara speeds forward, crying out "NII NII!!" as it splashes water everywhere. Nami is determined, thinking, "WE HAVE TO... GET THAT MONEY BACK!!" The scene shifts to a wide view of the massive Galley-La headquarters at Dock 1, towering over the city. Nami's thoughts continue, "YOU'RE SERIOUS...!? THAT'S WHAT... THE CARPENTER SAID...?"

Back at the Going Merry, Sanji, Chopper, and Zoro are discussing the ship's condition. Sanji, smoking a cigarette, says, "THIS SHIP IS... THEY CAN'T REPAIR IT? EVEN IF WE PAY THEM?" Chopper looks devastated, crying out, "WHY... DID IT END UP LIKE THIS...?" Sanji replies, "I DON'T KNOW. I WONDER WHAT LUFFY AND THE OTHERS DECIDED... THOSE THREE PROBABLY CAME UP WITH A GOOD ANSWER AT THE SHIPYARD ALREADY." He looks at the ship and adds, "...ARE YOU SURE HE WASN'T JUST EXAGGERATING? JUST LOOK! THE SHIP LOOKS AS GOOD AS ALWAYS. DIDN'T IT MAKE IT ALL THE WAY HERE FROM EAST BLUE WITH US...?" Zoro, standing nearby, responds calmly, "THAT IS PROBABLY THE REASON WHY IT'S BROKEN. A PERSON GETS STRONGER WITH WOUNDS, BUT... FOR A SHIP, THE WOUNDS ONLY STACK UP AND WEAKEN IT MORE AND MORE." The Going Merry is shown docked, looking peaceful but worn.

Sanji looks frustrated and says, "I JUST CAN'T ACCEPT THIS... BUT I LIKE MERRY VERY MUCH!!" Zoro, sitting with his arms behind his head, replies, "...EVERYONE DOES... BUT THERE'S NO WAY TO SAVE IT..." Sanji thinks to himself, "I WONDER WHAT WOULD USOPP THINK IF HE HEARS THIS..." Chopper looks down sadly, thinking, "MERRY IS BROKEN... ROBIN IS MISSING... THIS AFTERNOON IS FILLED WITH TROUBLE..." Suddenly, Chopper spots someone approaching and yells, "!", "EVERYONE!!" Sanji turns and says, "EH? NAMI IS BACK!!" He then notices she is alone and asks, "HUH? WHY IS SHE ALONE? WHERE ARE LUFFY AND USOPP!? NAMI!! DID SOMETHING HAPPEN!?" Nami is seen running towards them in the distance.

The scene transitions to a new location, indicated by a caption box: "A CORNER IN WATER SEVEN NORTHEAST BEACH". Another box labels the area as the "SCRAP FACTORY". A large, eccentric building comes into view, with a sign above the door reading "FRANKY HOUSE". The building has a unique design, resembling a face with large circular windows for eyes and a star above the double doors. From inside the building, loud, excited voices can be heard shouting, "WOW!!!", "WOOW!!", "200 MILLION!?", "200 MILLION!!"

Inside the Franky House, the Franky Family is throwing a wild celebration. Zambai and other members are cheering enthusiastically. One member yells, "WHAT DO YOU THINK, BRO!!? IT'S AMAZING!! YOU GUYS DID VERY WELL!" A pair of hands is shown holding thick stacks of Beri notes, flipping through them as someone says, "WITH THIS MUCH MONEY... WE CAN BUY THE THING THAT WE ALWAYS WANTED..." The room is filled with eccentric characters. A member says, "THIS IS GREAT, BRO!! WE WAITED 3 YEARS FOR IT! IT FELT LIKE AN ETERNITY, THINKING ABOUT IT EVERY NIGHT..." Another adds, "WHEN WE GOT A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY, WE BET OUR HOPES ON THE YAGARA RACE... WE LOST EVERY PENNY!" Another chimes in, "WHEN WE GOT REWARD MONEY FROM BOUNTIES, WE HAD A BANQUET TO CELEBRATE... WE LOST EVERY PENNY!" In the center of the room, a large figure, Franky, sits on a throne-like chair, though his face is mostly obscured.

The Franky Family continues their raucous celebration. Members cheer, "WE GOT FROM HAVING ALMOST NOTHING... TO GETTING THE WHOLE 200 MILLION... IN AN INSTANT!! YOU GUYS DID AN AMAZING JOB!!" Franky, still seated, casually tosses a stack of money to the side and says, "THIS IS NOT MUCH, BUT... THESE 5 MILLION, TAKE IT. EAT! DRINK! SPEND IT HOWEVER YOU WANT!!!" The crew erupts in joy, throwing their hands up and yelling, "YAAAHOO!!" Suddenly, a massive explosion blasts the front doors of the Franky House open. Debris and smoke fly into the room. The family members are caught off guard, shouting, "!!!", "WHAT WAS THAT!?", "WAAAAH!!"

As the smoke clears at the entrance of the Franky House, the family members react with confusion and anger. "HM!?", "DAMN IT!", "WHO'S THAT?", "WHO DARES TO ATTACK THE FRANKYS!!?" Standing in the doorway is Usopp. He is heavily injured, covered in blood and bandages, and breathing heavily. He holds a weapon in his hand, looking determined despite his battered state. Zambai recognizes him and sneers, "AH! YOU'RE THAT WEAKLING!! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO STAND BACK UP!?" Usopp glares at them and demands, "...THE MONEY... GIVE IT BACK!!"

Zambai mocks Usopp, saying, "GIVE THE MONEY BACK TO YOU? SO YOU ARE ONE OF THE STRAW-HAT'S CREW? THAT'S RIGHT, BRO!! HE'S WITH THE STRAW-HAT LUFFY. I THOUGHT HE WAS STRONG BUT ACTUALLY... AHAHAHAHA." Usopp fires a projectile from his slingshot, yelling, "BUZZ OFF!! HE'S A WEAK PIECE OF CRAP...!!!" Zambai easily dodges the attack, laughing, "I CAN'T GIVE THE MONEY BACK TO YOU. TOO SLOW!" Usopp, bleeding profusely from his head and mouth, screams in desperation, "GIVE IT BACK!! WE NEED IT TO REPAIR OUR SHIP!! HEH... HEH... IT'S VERY IMPORTANT!! THAT MONEY IS FOR REPAIRING THE DAMAGES ON GOING MERRY! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!!"

Franky speaks up from his chair, his face partially visible in the shadows. "CALM DOWN... AHAHAHA!! YOUR SHIP IS VERY IMPORTANT TO YOU EH?... BUT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR SHIP, THIS MONEY IS OURS NOW!!" He continues, "AND SADLY FOR YOU, WE DON'T GET PROSECUTED FOR ROBBING FROM PIRATES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, GO AHEAD AND GO TO THE MARINES! YOU'LL JUST GET ARRESTED. TOO BAD FOR STRAW-HAT LUFFY! HE HAS A WORTHLESS CREW..." Franky stands up, revealing his large, star-patterned forearms and speedo. "I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THE DIRTY MONEY. WHO CAN'T EVEN KEEP MONEY IN HIS HANDS!!" He turns to leave, telling his crew, "PLAY WITH HIM IF YOU LIKE, GUYS. I'M GOING SHOPPING WITH THIS MONEY. AHAHAHA. I CAN'T WAIT..."

Usopp launches an attack at Franky's back, yelling, "EAT THIS! CERTAIN-DEATH... FIRE STAR!!" The projectile hits Franky, causing a large explosion, "<SFX> BOOM!!!". Franky slowly turns his head, his face now clearly visible, looking menacing with his metal nose and sunglasses. He says coldly, "REMEMBER THIS, LONG-NOSE FREAK. MY NAME IS FRANKY. IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE THIS CITY ALIVE... DON'T AGITATE ME." The Franky Family members laugh at Usopp's futile attempt. "AH...", "YAHAHAHA", "GOOD BYE.", "THANKS FOR THE 200 MILLION." They grab Usopp, who struggles and yells, "LET GO!!" A family member mocks him, "WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT KIND OF WEAPON DO!?"

Usopp reaches out desperately as Franky walks out the door, flanked by Mozu and Kiwi. "GIVE IT BACK!! WAIT!!" The Franky Family members mercilessly beat Usopp inside the house. "GU...", "WAA~~HAHAHAHAH!!" Usopp is struck repeatedly and then violently thrown out of the building, crashing onto the ground outside. The final panel shows a wide exterior view of the Franky House. Usopp's agonizing scream echoes across the area, "GIVE IT BACK-------!!! WAAAAAAAH"

Back at the Going Merry, Nami is preparing to stay behind. She is packing a suitcase and holding two pistols, looking resolute. She says, "I'LL STAY HERE AND WAIT FOR ROBIN TO COME BACK. I'LL ONLY BE A BURDEN IF I GO ANYWAYS. PLUS, IT'S SCARY." She aims the pistols and adds, "I'LL PROTECT THE SHIP AND THE 100 MILLION BERI. PLEASE TAKE CARE, EVERYONE..." Meanwhile, Sanji, Zoro, Chopper, and Luffy are walking through the streets of Water 7. Sanji yells, "STOP! STOP! DIDN'T NAMI SAY THAT USOPP IS SOMEWHERE AROUND HERE!?" Zoro questions, "ARE YOU SURE THAT WE'RE AT THE RIGHT PLACE?" Sanji snaps back, "LIKE YOU'RE THE ONE TO TALK! SHUT UP!" Luffy calls out, "USOPP!! NII!"

Chopper suddenly notices something on the ground and points, "LOOK! BLOOD!" Sanji looks worried, "DID HE GO ON HIS OWN!?" Zoro realizes, "... NO WAY... HE WENT THERE...!?" Sanji hears something, "HM?" A loud scream, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!", comes from above. Suddenly, a body falls from the sky and crashes violently onto the pavement in front of them with a loud "DOHN". It's Luffy, who has just landed hard. The crew rushes over. Luffy yells, "HELP!! LUFFY!?" Sanji angrily asks, "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?" Zoro demands, "WHERE DID YOU JUMP DOWN FROM!?" Luffy, coughing, explains, "I TRIED TO FLY DOWN LIKE THE CARPENTER GUY AND FIND USOPP..."

Chopper realizes something and says, "AH! THAT'S RIGHT. USOPP DISAPPEARED!!" Sanji deduces, "HE WAS KIDNAPPED ALONG WITH THE MONEY..." Zoro states firmly, "WE KNOW. COME! WE'RE GOING TO THEIR PLACE RIGHT NOW. USOPP GOT BEATEN AND THE MONEY GOT STOLEN." Sanji wonders, "DID HE FEEL RESPONSIBLE AND... WENT TO THE FRANKYS' PLACE ALONE?" Chopper gasps, "EEH!?" The scene shifts to the four of them standing over Usopp's unconscious, battered body lying on the ground near the water. Sanji asks quietly, "IS HE STILL BREATHING... CHOPPER..?" Chopper, in his Heavy Point form, replies, "HE'S ALIVE. NO PROBLEM. HE'LL BE OKAY. EVEN THOUGH HE LOST CONSCIOUSNESS..."

Usopp is shown lying face down on the ground, completely unconscious and severely beaten. Luffy stands over him and says softly, "WAIT HERE A LITTLE BIT, USOPP." The next panels show close-ups of the crew's faces, all radiating intense anger. Chopper growls, "GIEH...!!", Zoro cracks his knuckles, "CRACK CRACK", and Sanji exhales smoke, "SYU PO...!!". Luffy looks furious. The four of them walk purposefully towards the Franky House. From inside the building, the Franky Family can be heard continuing their party: "HEY! GO GET MORE FOOD!", "WE HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY!!", "THE RUM TASTES ESPECIALLY GOOD TODAY!" Luffy declares darkly, "LET'S CAUSE TROUBLE IN THAT HOUSE... AND THEN SEND IT FLYING WITH A KICK...!!!"
