Massive destruction rocks Arlong Park as the building explodes in a cloud of smoke and debris. Giant onomatopoeia “ゴゴゴゴオオ...!!” shakes the sky. Below, a battered Zoro sits up, hand to his head, asking “THE HELL'S GOING ONI SO FREAKIN' NOISY...”. He then throws a punch with a sharp “ゴンッ!!” impact and reacts with “UGH!” as more “オオオ” and “パァ...” sounds fill the air.

A crowd of villagers and Straw Hats stares in shock at the ruined Arlong Park. Voices cry out: “ARLONG PARK... IS DESTROYED...!”, “BROTHER...!”, and “...JUST WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED IN THEREI”. Luffy stands wide-eyed in the foreground as someone says “LUFFY...”. Another panel shows the aftermath with the line “...AFTER THAT DESTRUCTION, I CAN'T POSSIBLY IMAGINE THAT...”. A final voice asks, “WHICH ONE OF THEM WON!I”.

A massive structure collapses in a cloud of debris as a heavy impact echoes with the sound "ボコ.....!!". Luffy bursts through the wreckage in mid-air, coat flaring and body surrounded by explosive impact lines and flying rubble. Below, Luffy, Usopp, and Nami stand together; Luffy throws his head back and bellows "BHHHHR-RUWWW-THERRRR! (BROTHER)" while Nami looks up and calls "LUFFY...!".

Luffy's face is streaked with sweat and grime as droplets fall; a worried voice asks "IS HE ALRIGHT...I" while small SFX "ボタ... ボタ..." mark the dripping. Luffy suddenly lunges forward with tremendous force, shouting "NAMI!" amid a storm of motion lines and debris as the ground erupts. Nami watches with a concerned expression and a quiet "......", then the scene widens to show Luffy standing among villagers who stare in shock.

Luffy's face fills the frame, teeth bared and eyes fierce as he roars "YOU'RE MY CREW-MATE, GOT IT!I" with heavy speed lines and sweat drops flying. In the next instant he crashes downward, body twisting violently as he smashes into the ruined ground amid a massive explosion of impact effects, cracks, and flying debris.

Nami wipes a tear with a determined smile and declares "GOT IT!" while a small SFX "ポロ..." lingers. Genzo clutches her in relief, exclaiming "IT FEELS LIKE I'M DREAMING... I'D NEVER IMAGINE THAT SUCH A DAY WOULD ACTUALLY COME..." as nearby villagers shout "GEN!", "HE DID IT, SIS! HE WON!" and "HE WON!". The final wide panel shows the entire crowd celebrating wildly as the ruins of Arlong Park collapse, with the triumphant cry "ARLONG PARK HAS FALLEN!".

Luffy grins widely with closed eyes, laughing "SHISHI SHISHI!" A lively celebration erupts on the island path lined with palm trees as villagers dance and cheer with raised fists. Suddenly a tall figure in a long coat kicks through the air with dramatic impact lines and SFX, shouting "THAT'S ENOUGH CELEBRATING!" while "CHI CHI CHI CHI!" rings out. The Marine captain in a mouse-eared "MARINE" hat stands smugly and declares, "WHETHER BY SHEER LUCK OR NOT, I'D HAVE NEVER GUESSED THAT THE FISHMEN WOULD ACTUALLY BE DEFEATED BY A BUNCH OF NO-NAME PIRATES. WHAT A LUCKY DAY FOR ME TODAY! I'D LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR SHOWING ME A MOST EXHILARATING BATTLE." Nami and Luffy turn toward him in surprise as he continues, "IT'S HIM..."

Captain Nezumi raises his hand and orders, "SO THROW DOWN YOUR ARMS! I, CPT. NEZUMI OF THE 16TH BRANCH OF THE MARINES, SHALL HEREBY TAKE CREDIT FOR YOUR VICTORY! BUT THANKS TO YOU, THE MONEY THAT I HAD TO HAND OVER TO ARLONG, AS WELL AS ALL THE RICHES OF ARLONG PARK NOW BELONGS TO ME!" The Straw Hats react in shock with "!!!I" and motion lines. Zoro glares furiously as massive "AGHHH!!" sound effects explode around him. A voice complains, "WHEN PEOPLE ARE BUSY CELEBRATING. IT AIN'T NICE TO BE SUCH A WET BLANKET," while Luffy shouts "ZORO!"

Nezumi laughs maniacally in close-up with sweat drops and jagged effects. In the ruined square, Sanji, Usopp, and Zoro stand among fallen bodies while one man groans "IS HIS MOUTH STILL ALIVE...I" Nezumi sprawls dramatically, yelling "GO AHEAD! LAY EVEN ONE FINGER ON ME ID YU DARE! I SWEAR YU WON'T GED AWAY WIDDIT!" Nami kneels by the injured, saying "HUHI AND DEFILING BELLEMERE'S ORANGE FIELDS... THIS IS FOR SHOOTING NOJIKO," as Luffy turns with a surprised "HUHI" and a large SFX "ばすっ!" sounds nearby.

Nami delivers a powerful spinning kick to Nezumi's face with massive impact lines and "!!!!!I" as he reels back. A subordinate cries "CAPTAIN!" amid flying debris and SFX "ザバア". In the aftermath, a battered Nezumi protests "HE STILL NEEDS ABOUT 1000 MORE BEATINGS!" while Nami smiles and replies "THANKS, NAMI! I FEEL BETTER ALREADY!" Nojiko watches with a serious expression.

Nami stands over the defeated Arlong and delivers a powerful kick to his head. "AND ONE MORE THING! THAT'S THIS ISLAND'S MONEY ALONE! AND YOU'RE NOT TO TOUCH ANY OF THE MONEY LEFT HERE IN ARLONG PARK! NOW GO CLEAN UP AFTER THE FISHMEN! THEN HELP REBUILD GOSA VILLAGE!" Arlong is sent flying with a massive "BUHAAAA!" Nami glares down at him and demands, "GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!" In the next scene Luffy lies sprawled on the ground and vows, "I SWEAR I'LL GET BACK AT YOU FOR THIS!" Nami turns to him sharply. "LISTEN WELL, YOU ROTTEN PIRATES! ESPECIALLY YOU, STRAWHAT-BOY! YOU SAID YOUR NAME WAS LUFFY, DIDN'T YOU!I LET ME JUST SAY THAT YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR JUST DESERTS FOR ANGERING ME! AND YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN, RIGHT!I"

The Straw Hats and villagers watch as Luffy is thrown into the water with a splash. Marines and townspeople react in shock: "W-WHAT DO WE DO, GUYS!I WHAT HAPPENS IF HE REALLY DOES GET BACK AT US!I" "THAT'S NOT WHAT HE MEANT, DUMBASS." "HOW'D HE KNOW THAT I DESERVE TO BE THE PIRATE KINGI" "HE SAID YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR JUST DESERTS." "I'LL REMEMBER THIS!" A Marine captain wipes his brow. "YOU JUST NEVER KNOW... TO THINK WE'D BE SAVED BY PIRATES..." The celebration erupts as Usopp, Luffy, and the others charge forward waving flags. "LET'S GO TELL EVERYONE ON THE ISLAND...! THAT ARLONG PARK IS NO MORE!" "ALRIGHT, GUYS! WE CAN'T JUST HOG ALL THE GOOD NEWS FOR OURSELVES!"

At Belle-mère's grave on the hill, marked by a wooden cross, narration and voices reflect on the long struggle. "IT TOOK OVER 8 YEARS, BUT AT LONG LAST, EVERYONE IS FREE AGAIN! IT'S FINALLY DONE, BELLEMERE." Genzo, Nojiko, and Nami stand before the grave. Genzo wonders aloud, "DO YOU THINK THAT IF BELLEMERE WAS ALIVE, THAT SHE'D STOP ME FROM BECOMING A PIRATEI" Nami, kneeling with flowers, answers firmly with a bright smile and tongue out, "NOT AT ALL! NOPE!"

In Cocoyasi Village, Sanji and Zoro rest on a bench while Usopp lies bandaged and screaming "UGYAA AAA!" Nearby, Luffy sits with the injured Usopp as the doctor treats him. Luffy insists, "BECAUSE PIRATES GOTTA SING, YOU KNOW." The crew discusses needing a musician and doctor. Genzo and Nojiko walk together laughing. Genzo clutches his stitches, "BELLE-MÈRE'S DAUGHTERS! YOU TWO ARE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, AHAHAHAHA!" Nojiko smiles, "HAHAHA, HOW COULD I NOTI"

At Marine Base 16th Branch, Captain Nezumi contacts headquarters through the Den Den Mushi snail phone. "THIS IS CPT. NEZUMI OF THE MARINE'S 16TH BRANCH SPEAKING! MARINE CODE #00733!" he reports urgently. The snail, labeled "ROGER," relays the call: "DO YOU HEAR MEI" HQ responds, "I CAN HEAR YOU JUST FINE EVEN IF YOU DON'T YELL." Nezumi continues, "I'M CALLING ABOUT AN URGENT REQUEST!" The marine at the other end confirms the line. Nezumi then states, "HE AND HIS 4 CREW-MEMBERS, PENDENMUSHI OF THE MARINES' 16TH BRANCH," and warns, "LISTEN UP! THERE'S A STRAWHAT-WEARING PIRATE BY THE NAME OF 'LUFFY!'" A close-up shows the furious marine officer gripping the receiver as he declares, "LUFFY, YOU SAID... ARE HEREBY TO BE LABELLED AS ENEMIES OF THE GOVERNMENT!"

Nezumi bows before the Den Den Mushi and formally requests, "I FORMALLY REQUEST A BOUNTY TO BE PLACED ON THEIR CAPTAIN'S HEAD!" He adds, "NOT ONLY HAVE THEY DEFEATED THE ARLONG PIRATES, BUT CONSIDERING THEIR VIOLENT NATURE..." The marine at HQ reacts with surprise. Nezumi insists on a clearer photo while the snail processes the report. He then declares in a massive panel featuring Luffy's grinning face, "I ASK THAT YOU PLACE A BOUNTY ON HIS HEAD FOR ALL NATIONS OF THE WORLD! LISTEN TO ME! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY HEINOUS PIRATE! HE IS TO BE TAKEN DEAD OR ALIVE!" The wanted poster-style image of Luffy dominates the frame as the bounty request is finalized.
