Deep underground, the ruins begin to violently shake and crumble. Loud rumbling sounds, depicted with large sound effects like "DOOOM...", "DASH...!", and "RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE", fill the air as debris falls from the ceiling. Luffy looks around in confusion, exclaiming, "What's going on here...!?" He starts running to avoid the falling rocks, shouting, "WHOA" and "The whole place is falling apart!" A massive chunk of the ceiling crashes down behind him with a deafening roar of "DOOOOM...!!", sending up a huge cloud of dust and debris.

Outside in the city of Alubarna, a bright flare shoots high into the sky, leaving a trail of smoke and a loud "OOOOOOO" sound. Sanji and an unidentified royal guard look up at it. Sanji says, "I can't think of any other possible place!" The guard asks, "You really think it's in there!?" Nearby, Vivi runs toward a tall clock tower. The guard calls out, "W-wait up, Vivi!" and she replies, "Hurry then!" as the clock ticks "tic toc tic toc". Elsewhere, Sanji runs past Usopp, calling out, "I'm going on ahead, Usopp!" Usopp, who is kneeling on the ground drawing a symbol, replies, "Alright! Let me write a message for the others when they get here!"

At the top of the clock tower, Baroque Works agents Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day are celebrating their discovery. Mr. 7 laughs, "KAHAHA! THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW WHERE YOU WERE!" Miss Father's Day cheers, "YEEHAW! WE FOUND THE PRINCESS!" Below, Vivi stops in her tracks, gasping in shock with an "AH-". Sanji, running through the streets, looks up at the flare and realizes, "That's Usopp's signal! And since when was the palace so far away!?" Vivi panics, waving her arms frantically, "GAHH! We ended up calling the enemies too! Oh no, it's the B.W. again!" Meanwhile, Usopp is riding on Chopper in his Walk Point form. A voice yells "USOOOOPP-". Usopp says, "I wonder if they found the place!?" Chopper replies, "I'm sure they did!" Sanji, running nearby, says, "Good, it's close by!"

Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day open fire from the clock tower, sending a barrage of bullets toward Vivi. She screams "GAAAAHHHH!" and ducks as the bullets hit the ground around her, creating a loud "NOISE!" She yells "STOP!" and "AHHH!" Sanji quickly intervenes, leaping up and delivering a powerful kick to Mr. 7's face. Miss Father's Day yells, "AFTER THEM!" and "They're getting away!" Sanji lands and tells Vivi, "NOW, VIVI!" Vivi hesitates for a moment, saying "T... R-right!" before sprinting away toward the clock tower.

Back in the underground crypt, a massive cloud of dust and debris erupts from a powerful impact, accompanied by a loud "DOOOOM!!". As the dust settles, Luffy stands tall amidst the rubble, panting heavily with "HUFF HUFF". Crocodile, looking battered and shocked, stares at him and mutters, "YOU AGAIN?"

Crocodile glares at Luffy, demanding, "STRAW HAT!? WELL, Why must you come after me again and again no matter how many times I kill you? How... Are you still alive?" Luffy confidently replies, "I've cornered you now, Croc...!" On the ground nearby, a heavily injured Nico Robin weakly mutters, "STRAW HAT..." King Cobra, also lying injured, watches in disbelief, thinking, "How did he..." Luffy points an accusing finger at Crocodile and says, "The thing you've stolen...! You still haven't returned..." Crocodile loses his temper, screaming furiously, "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KILL YOU BEFORE YOU'RE SATISFIED!?"

Crocodile bursts into arrogant laughter, "Kuhahaha! What is it you want back? I've stolen so many things, you see. Or perhaps the rain!? Trust...? Is it life? Money? Fame...? The thing I stole...?" Luffy stares him down with intense determination and shouts, "THE COUNTRY!" Crocodile is taken aback for a moment before smirking, "Country!? You're an odd fellow... I'm only about to steal the country now... By becoming its new king...!"

Luffy stands firm, telling Crocodile, "Her country was nowhere to be found! No, when I came here, it was already stolen!" As he speaks, memories of Vivi's struggles flash through his mind. He remembers Vivi crying, "IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE WHILE AGO THAT THIS WAS A LIVELY TOWN FULL OF PLANT LIFE." He recalls her desperate pleas to stop the rebellion, "I HAVE TO PERSUADE THE REBELS. THERE CAN'T BE ANY NEEDLESS BLOODSHED!" and her tearful face asking, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH NOT WANTING PEOPLE TO DIE!?" He also remembers Kohza yelling "HURRY!" and Chaka pleading, "PLEASE, PRINCESS... YOU HAVE TO STOP THOSE FOOLISH REBELS!" Luffy clenches his fists, his face full of anger, and says, "If this were really her country..."

Another flashback shows Vivi crying silently, covering her mouth with her hand. In the present, Luffy leaps high into the air, rearing his leg back for a powerful attack. He yells, "THEN SHE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SMILE A LOT MORE!" Crocodile watches him approach, unimpressed, and says, "What can you even accomplish without any water..." as he prepares to defend himself.

Luffy's foot slams directly into Crocodile's face with tremendous force! The impact sends a shockwave through the air, and blood splatters from Crocodile's mouth. Crocodile's eyes widen in absolute shock as the attack connects, bypassing his sand logia intangibility. Luffy lands solidly on the ground, leaving Crocodile reeling from the unexpected blow.

Crocodile stumbles back, blood dripping from his mouth. He is completely bewildered, thinking, "WHAT THE... HOW CAN HE KICK ME WITHOUT ANY WATER...?" Flashbacks of Vivi and Kohza appear, with Vivi yelling, "THEN ALABASTA COULD HAVE BEEN IN PEACE! IF IT WEREN'T FOR YOU," and Kohza shouting, "IS WHAT WILL DESTROY IT IN THE END...!" Crocodile regains his composure and taunts Luffy, "DOESN'T THAT BRING A TEAR TO YOUR EYE? THE VERY LOVE FOR THEIR COUNTRY, HAHAHA..." Enraged, Luffy charges forward, screaming, "CROCODIIIILEE!" Crocodile barely has time to react, uttering, "WAI-" before Luffy is upon him.

Luffy delivers a brutal, blood-spattering punch straight to Crocodile's jaw. Without giving him a moment to recover, Luffy follows up with a devastating left hook directly into Crocodile's stomach. The sheer force of the blows sends shockwaves through Crocodile's body, and he is completely unable to turn into sand to avoid the damage.

The force of Luffy's punches sends Crocodile flying backward, crashing violently into a large stone pillar. The impact shatters the stone, creating a massive cloud of dust. Crocodile slumps to the ground, coughing and gasping for air, "KU... HA...!" As he looks up, he notices blood dripping from Luffy's clenched fist onto the floor. Crocodile's eyes widen in realization as he stammers, "IT CAN'T BE... IT... YOU USED YOUR BLOOD!?"

Luffy holds up his blood-soaked fist, glaring at Crocodile. "BLOOD WORKS JUST AS WELL IN CLUMPING UP YOUR SAND, RIGHT!?" Crocodile stares at him for a moment before breaking into a low, menacing laugh, "KU... HAHAHA! HA... HAHA..." He slowly stands back up, his expression turning deadly serious. "LET ME REWARD YOUR PERSISTENCE IN CHALLENGING ME A THIRD TIME EVEN AFTER TWICE TASTING HELL...! RAINBASE... THE PALACE... AND NOW THIS UNDERGROUND CRYPT... SO BE IT..."

Crocodile lunges forward, swinging his massive golden hook at Luffy. Luffy barely manages to dodge the attack, grunting "NGHH-" as the hook smashes into the ground. With a loud "CLINK!", Crocodile removes the golden casing from his hook, revealing a sinister, multi-pronged weapon underneath. "I WILL TREAT YOU AS A REAL PIRATE..." he declares. Luffy looks at the new weapon, confused. "He took it off... But what is it?" Crocodile explains, "It seems you're set on beating me no matter what. So I shall acknowledge you as a troublesome enemy. A POISON-HOOK."

Crocodile continues, his face grim, "Amongst pirates, fights are all about who dies and who lives. There is no fair nor unfair! Once the explosion occurs on the surface, it'll likely cause this place to collapse in on itself." Luffy simply responds, "Oh." The two stand facing each other in the crumbling ruins. Crocodile raises his poison hook and declares, "THIS IS THE END. LET US SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

Up on the surface in Alubarna, a group of Marines spots Zoro running through the streets. "Look! It's Roronoa Zoro!" one yells. "Huh?" Zoro stops, surrounded by Marines pointing their rifles at him. "JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" "WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE!?" Zoro glares back, "That's what I should be asking you. I haven't got any time to waste...! Damn it, even the marines are here..." Suddenly, Tashigi appears behind the Marines. She points her sword and yells at Zoro, "TURN BACK AND HEAD RIGHT! YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY! GO BACK TO THAT CORNER AND TURN NORTH TO GET TO THE PALACE SQUARE!" Zoro is completely baffled by her directions, shouting, "WHAT'RE YOU, AN IDIOT!?" and "WHAAA? Who, me?"

The Marines charge past Zoro, attacking the Baroque Works agents in the area and taking them down with a loud "GYAAAA!" Usopp and Vivi run past the chaos. Usopp looks back, confused, and says, "Uhh... Th... Thanks...? I guess?" Vivi urges him on, "Quickly, Usopp!" Tashigi stands ready with her sword, calling out to them, "We'll back you up! So just hurry up and stop the bombing!"
