A few minutes ago at the royal palace, a massive explosion erupts on the castle walls. "STICKY LAUNCHER!" someone yells as debris flies. "WHEN HE SEES YOUR LIFELESS CORPSE... HE'S IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING, ISN'T HE..." a voice taunts. "WHAT IS THE IDENTITY OF THE 'MOST EVIL TRUTH' THAT ASSAULTS LAW!I" Trebol looms in the foreground with his long hair and dripping snot-like substance, laughing wildly, "BEHEHEHEHE! HE'S STILL ALIVE!" He taunts the fallen figure, "HEY, HEY~ DON'T YOU THINK IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO THROW IN THE TOWEL ALREADYI" Doflamingo stands nearby with his feathered coat flaring, while Trafalgar Law lies on the ground coughing violently, bloodied and battered. "COUGH" "COUGH" sound effects punctuate Law's struggle as smoke and impact lines fill the scene.

Doflamingo continues his mocking monologue over the fallen Law. "YOU'RE IN WAY OVER YOUR HEAD AGAINST JUST ME... WHAT THE HELL MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD TAKE US BOTH ON AT ONCEI" he sneers. "TAKE A NAP, LAW..." "YOU SHOULD JUST..." "IT'LL TAKE STRAW HAT SOME TIME TO GET UP HERE..." Doflamingo's face fills a panel with a cruel grin: "YOUR ASS MIGHT HAVE BEEN SAVED, BUT... HE'S SOFT, RIGHT DOWN TO THE VERY CORE. IF HE HAD THE STOMACH TO JUST END THE LIFE OF A FORMER FRIEND..." Flashback images show Law's past as Doflamingo recounts, "THEN YOU MET CORAZON AND YOUR TIME LEFT ON THIS EARTH LENGTHENED... YET YOU BECAME HIS GHOST... DESPISING ME, YOU LIVED THOSE YEARS GRANTED TO YOU ONLY FOR REVENGE... YOU WERE BORN IN A WHITE HELL... AND FROM YOUR EARLY CHILDHOOD ON, YOUR FUTURE WAS SHROUDED IN DARKNESS..." Law remains prone amid smoke and debris, marked with "!!I" and "HEH HEH" reactions.

Law, still on the ground and bleeding, speaks with quiet resolve. "YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHY. A TRULY MEANINGLESS 13 YEARS IT HAS BEEN." Doflamingo points a ornate pistol directly at Law's head with a "TAP" sound. "YET IF YOU ARE TO MEET YOUR END...WHY NOT MAKE IT AT LEAST A LITTLE MEANINGFULI YOU WILL MEET YOUR MAKER TODAY, ABOUT THAT YOU CAN BE CERTAIN. AN UN-AVOIDABLE, WRETCHED DEATH." Doflamingo demands, "PERFORM THE OPE-OPE FRUIT'S ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE, 'IMMORTALITY SURGERY', ON ME AND THEN LEAVE THIS WORLD..." Law looks up as the gun presses closer. The scene shifts to a wide view of Dressrosa with a massive spiked structure. "GRANT YOUR WISHES, WHATEVER THEY MAY BE!" "IN EXCHANGE FOR THAT, I SHALL..."

Law lifts his head with a determined expression. "*COUGH* I'M IN." Doflamingo laughs, "HAA HAA" "ANYTHINGI IF YOU REALLY MEAN THAT, THEN THAT'S QUITE THE OFFER. IT'LL WORK TO BOTH OF OUR BENEFITS..." In a series of panels, Doflamingo's face twists with rage as he snaps, "SNAP" "AND GO LICK THE ASSHOLE OF EVERY LAST CITIZEN OF THIS POOR COUNTRY. HERE'S WHAT I WANT. RIGHT NOW, THIS MOMENT... BRING CORAZON BACK TO LIFE." Trebol chimes in from the side, "BEHEHE! YOU SURE KNOW A GOOD THING WHEN IT SMACKS YOU RIGHT IN THE FACE! SO DOFFY'S GONNA GET ENDLESS LIFE, EH!I" Doflamingo points upward with a fierce grin, "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT'S TOTALLY IN OVER YOUR HEAD HERE, DOFLAMINGO." The final panel shows Doflamingo's intense close-up with a gun clicking, "YOUR FUTURE IS THE ONE THA-" "YOU'LL NEVER BEAT THEM. YOU'LL NEVER GET CAESAR BACK. THE STRAW HAT CREW HAVE LEFT NOTHING IN THEIR WAKE BUT SHEER MIRACLES." Law's eyes widen in shock, "!!I"

A massive explosion erupts on a rocky battlefield as a towering figure with a bushy afro is blasted backward by a gunshot. SFX: ドン!!! The shooter, a small figure on the ground, fires again. Below, panels reveal Law in his Corazon coat marked with a large heart on the back. He pants heavily, HAA-, while an unseen voice questions the letters on his back: "THE NAME OF YOUR 'HEART PIRATES' TOO! WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO IMPLYI" Law replies, "CORAZON." Another voice demands, "JUST WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO IMPLY!I" A furious figure with glasses and a spotted coat lunges forward, shouting, "YOU... WHO SHALL NEVER SIT ON THE HEART SEAT!" Gunfire erupts with SFX: BANG BANG BANG as the afro figure is struck again amid smoke and debris.

Gunfire continues with SFX: BANG BANG as the afro figure reels from multiple shots. A voice shouts, "WHY DO YOU BEAR A HEART ON YOUR BACK, LAW!I" Law, bloodied and enraged, glares with gritted teeth, declaring, "LAW... CORAZON!" He swings his fist with SFX: ビシッ!!! while muttering, "HAA- HOW ANNOYING." SFX: SIGH. The scene shifts to a wide view of the ruined Dressrosa royal plateau as a voice warns, "YOUR CURSE... DIES WITH YOU TODAY!"

Allies rush forward shouting, "WE'RE COMING TOO!" and "KING RIKU! MY APOLOGIES FOR KEEPING YOU WAITING! I SHALL ACCOMPANY YOU!" A sign marks the PRESENT TIME FORMER ROYAL PLATEAU. Below, more fighters yell, "WE'VE STILL GOT PEOPLE TO SAVE!" and "DOWN TO THE CITY!" with SFX: わああああああ. A horned fighter looks determined. In a lower panel, Violet stands with allies including a blond man and a dark-haired swordsman. She states, "TREBOL AND DOFLAMINGO. IT'S TRUE THAT THE FAMILY'S STILL-STANDING POWERHOUSES... HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO TWO."

Violet continues, "OUR FORCES HAVE TAKEN A HIT AS WELL." SFX: ガサッ. A distant view shows the devastated city with SFX: わあああああ and figures reacting with "!I" and "BUT..." Close-ups capture Law's furious glare and the afro figure's shocked face amid debris. A massive explosion erupts with SFX: ボゴォォン!!! as rocks and smoke fly everywhere, the afro figure and another character caught in the blast.

High above the ruined city, Doflamingo stands on a rooftop and roars, "DOFLAMINGO OOO!" Below, Luffy faces a masked figure whose face is hidden behind a wide, eerie grin. The masked man speaks calmly: "I RELEASED BELLAMY A WHILE BACK... DID HE MANAGE TO FIND FREEDOMI" Luffy, teeth bared and eyes wide, snaps back, "TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH, STRAW HAT." Both fighters exhale sharply with repeated "HAA-" sounds. The masked man continues to taunt as Luffy launches forward in a blur of motion. "FWOO" echoes as Luffy charges. The masked figure shouts, "QUIT PLAYING DUMB! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE UP TO!" while impact lines and debris fill the air around them.

The masked man unleashes a massive technique. A huge spiderweb of sticky threads erupts outward with the cry "SPIDER'S WEB!" The web snares everything in its path as he yells, "YOU KNEW BELLAMY COULD NEVER RUN!" Luffy is briefly caught in the strands. The attacker laughs, "FUFUFU... SO HE CHOSE NOT TO RUN, DID HEI" while gripping the threads tightly. The word "GRIP" appears as the web constricts. The masked figure's wild hair and stitched face are visible as he maintains control of the trap.

Luffy begins stretching his arms for a counterattack. "GOMU GOMU NO..." he starts, then unleashes a rapid barrage. "GAT-LING!" and "HAWK" combine into a devastating flurry of punches that smash through stone and debris. The masked man is struck repeatedly amid flying rubble and smoke. Luffy is hurled backward, yelling "WHOA!" as the powerful thread slams into him and sends debris flying. The technique's force creates a dramatic splash of motion lines and impact effects.

HE SURE PUT A LOT OF FAITH IN YOU..." Luffy snaps back, "YOU'RE LYING!" An unseen voice states coldly, "YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THAT PLAIN AS DAY, NOI" "DEAD." "TRAFFY IS..." The massive Birdcage continues shrinking. "IT'S SHRINKING, ISN'T ITI" "THIS... CAGE OF THREADS..." "EHI!" Onlookers panic, "LOOK! THEY'RE MOVING!...EVER SO SLOWLY..." "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!I" "BE CAREFUL! GET BACK!!" "WHA!I" A massive figure looms over Law's battered form. "YOU BASTARDS, I'M GONNA...!" "FUFUFU! YOU DON'T SEEM LIKE ALL THAT MUCH BASED ON THAT DISPLAY BACK THERE... BUT NONETHELESS, COME. THERE'S TWO OF US HERE STANDING JUST FOR YOU. HE SAID YOU'D SHOW US A MIRACLE, STRAW HAT..." The enemy declares, "LISTEN CLOSELY, STRAW HAT-YA...!" "GAME TO END." "TIME FOR THIS..." "BEHE HEHE!"
