Sanji passionately defends his dream, insisting, "IT EXISTS! JUST THINK." He begins to explain the legend: "EAST BLUE, WEST BLUE, NORTH BLUE, SOUTH BLUE. THE VARIOUS TYPES OF FISH FOUND IN EACH OF THOSE 4 SEAS ARE SUPPOSEDLY ALL FOUND IN ALL BLUE..." He imagines a vibrant underwater scene filled with diverse sea life. Another adds, "JUST USE YOUR HEAD A LITTLE AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND! IT'S ALL A BIG LIE COOKED UP BY A DREAMER COOK!" The head cook interrupts, "ALRIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH FOOLISH TALK. LET'S GET BACK TO WORK. SANJI, BRING THE PLATES. IT'S TIME TO WASH'EM." Sanji looks annoyed and stays silent. The cooks then start eating the leftover food from the plates they are clearing. They complain, "OH MAN, WHAT A WASTE. LOOK AT ALL THE LEFTOVERS. DAMN, THEY BARELY TOUCHED THIS STUFF. AND I WAS SO CONFIDENT ABOUT THIS DISH... THE RECENT GUESTS ARE TOO WASTEFUL."

He argues, "WE'VE GOT PLENTY OF FOOD, ANYWAYS. NOT ONLY THAT, WE'RE GONNA BE ARRIVING AT THE PORT IN JUST 2 DAYS." An older, chubby cook chewing on a fish bone tells him, "IT'S BECAUSE YOU SAY STUFF LIKE THAT, YOU'RE STILL JUST A KID. DON'T FORGET THAT WE'RE COOKS OF THE SEA. YOU NEVER KNOW JUST WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN ON THE SEAS. NEVER A BAD IDEA TO BE A LITTLE FRUGAL. SO WHADDYA SAY? WANT SOME?" Sanji angrily refuses, "NO!" Suddenly, terrified screams of "KYAAAAA!" and "WAAAAAAH!" erupt from outside. A pirate ship with a duck figurehead is seen approaching the passenger ship.
