A massive creature devours everything in sight with sound effects "ガッ ガッ ガッ ガッ ガッ ガッ ガッ!!" and "ガシャン!". Onlookers react: "HE'S BEEN EATING LIKE THIS FOR 30 MINUTES NOW....!!", "HOW LONG IS HE GOING TO EAT...I", and "WOW!! IT'S DISAPPEARING LIKE IT'S GOING INTO AN ANT LION PIT...". The creature continues gorging as plates and food vanish rapidly.

The massive eater continues devouring with explosive sound effects "ガブッ ガブッ!!" and "ガレェガガガッ!!!" as a swordsman is sent flying. Close-ups reveal a bandaged man and a long-haired figure with glasses reacting in shock: "HE HAS AN INCREDIBLE WILL TO LIVE!" and "THAT'S SEVERAL DAYS' WORTH OF FOOD FOR ALL OF KAMA LAND...". The creature swells enormously while emitting "HAA" sounds. A crowd gathers at a stone archway, gasping "WHAT IS THAT...!I" and "HERE HE COMES...!!" as a figure bursts forth from the tunnel.

Luffy bursts out dramatically, roaring "I'M GOOD!!!" in a massive close-up. Onlookers exclaim "WHAT A GUY!! HE'S INHUMAN!!!", "UWOOOH!!! HE ABSORBED THE ENERGY!!!", "HE RECOVERED FROM THE POISON IN ONLY TWENTY HOURS!!!", "IT'S A MIRACLE!!!", and "HE TOOK MAGELLAN'S POISON AND SURVIVED!!!". Bon Clay cries "BON-CHAN!! YOU'RE OKAY!!!" while Ivankov declares "A MIRACLE... 'MIRACLE' DOESN'T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE IT...". Luffy grins widely amid the cheering crowd as the scene erupts in celebration.

Explosions and chaos erupt as the massive pipe structure collapses in a massive ズダーン impact, sending figures flying through smoke and debris. Luffy, battered and wide-eyed, shouts desperately toward the wreckage. Nearby, Emporio Ivankov stands with arms crossed, explaining, "HE'S JUST EXHAUSTED... IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF HIS WOUNDS." Voices call out in concern: "IVA-CHANI" and "ARE YOU OKAY!I HANG IN THERE!!!" Luffy yells, "BON-CHAN...!!! HEY...!!!" Ivankov replies firmly, "THEN THANK MR. 2, BON CLAY...!!! IF YOU WANT TO THANK SOMEONE... I ONLY LENT YOU A LITTLE STRENGTH USING MY POWERS. BUT HE..." In the final panel Luffy beams with relief, declaring, "WE LIVED!! THANKS FOR SAVING US!!!" as the rescued prisoners cheer.

Luffy, covered in wounds and sweat, recounts Bon Clay's sacrifice: "TELLING YOU TO LIVE...!!! HE NEVER STOPPED YELLING... HE STOOD HERE AND SUFFERED ALONGSIDE YOU. A massive impact erupts as a rabbit-like figure and others appear; Luffy cries out, "I'M IN YOUR DEBT!!!" while another voice shouts, "...BON-CHAN, THANK YOU!!!!" The panel shows Luffy being pulled upward amid swirling smoke and motion lines.

Luffy stands alone on a barren stretch and asks, "WHERE WERE YOU BORN...I" Ivankov’s massive features fill the frame, sweat flying, as he declares, "AND THAT AMAZING WILL...!!! HE'S DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL!!!! IT'S DEFINITELY POSSIBLE!!!!" and "NOT KNOWING MAKES IT MORE REALISTIC!! HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE KIND OF GUY WHO WOULD LIE ABOUT THIS!I AND HE'S A SUPERNOVA IN THE PIRATE WORLD."

Ivankov’s face fills a close-up, sweat dripping, as he realizes, "I KNEW IT...!!!" while a distant figure sits on ruins under a blazing sun labeled "DRAGON..." Luffy stares in shock, eyes wide, replying "!!!" and "EAST BLUE." Ivankov continues, "MAYBE IT'S JUST WHAT YOU WOULD CALL AN ANIMAL INSTINCT. IS YOUR HOME THAT WAYI" and "... IS THAT SOI YOU PICK UP ON SOME WEIRD THINGS. I'VE NEVER NOTICED THAT MYSELF." A cloaked silhouette stands opposite him. Ivankov presses on, "WHEREVER YOU ARE... YOU'RE FACING THE SAME WAY... WHENEVER THE WIND BLOWS," while a woman with wild hair watches. Luffy stands small against the ruins as Ivankov warns, "IF THAT WERE TRUE... IF THIS STRAWHAT BOY IS REALLY DRAGON'S SON..." Inazuma appears, saying "N-NUFU, EXCUSE ME..." and "STOP PRYING INTO MY PAST, IVA...!!!" Ivankov grins, "PERHAPS YOU HAVE FAMILY IN THE EASTERN SEASI HMMI"

Guards report to Magellan that three prisoners entered Level 5 in perfect disguise. Magellan questions the blood-stained head covering found there after Straw Hat Luffy's escape. Domino tells Magellan he is late for the Level 6 lift. Hannyabal panics that his job is on the line. At the front gates, Magellan orders the prisoner handover at 9 a.m., warning that Impel Down's reputation will be stained if they fail. A guard replies that the delay is unreasonable.

Marines at the Impel Down front entrance vow not to let their guard down while transporting Portgas D. Ace to Marine HQ. They prepare five battleships commanded by five vice-admirals. On Level 5, Emporio Ivankov declares that stealth is unnecessary and his strength is overflowing. Luffy shouts to run forward as they charge past startled guards. Ivankov yells that one or two minutes could make all the difference.

On Level 5, wolves prowl and growl with GARURURU sounds. A figure in the distance is spotted. Prisoners recognize it as Ivankov, who should be dead. Wolves attack with GYOBU!!! and massive bites. Luffy and Ivankov fight back fiercely amid flying debris and impact lines as Ivankov shouts MOVE IT!!! DON'T GET IN MY WAY!!!

Emporio Ivankov unleashes "DEATH WINK"!!! with a massive shockwave that sends wolves flying amid BOGYAU!!! and impact effects. Inazuma appears and uses scissors to unlock a door, saying INAZUMA! THE LOCK! Guards ahead are spotted. In the monitor room, a guard yells that the giant man and unidentified men are moving from Level 5 to Level 6.

Panic erupts across Impel Down as guards react to the chaos. "HE SHOULD HAVE DIED FROM THE WARDEN'S POISON..." one shouts. Another adds, "AND THE INTRUDER FROM YESTERDAY, STRAWHAT LUFFY, IS WITH HIM!!!" A wide-eyed officer demands, "WHAT'S GOING ON HEREI HOW DID HE SURVIVE ALL THESE YEARS!!I" while another realizes, "THE OKAMA KING WHO DISAPPEARED YEARS AGO... IVANKOV!!I" Below, more guards spot the group racing toward Level 6. "THEY'RE MAKING A BEELINE FOR LEVEL 6!! THEY MUST BE AFTER FIRE FIST ACE!!" "WHAT'S GOING ON!!I" "THE REVOLUTIONARY FROM SOUTH BLUE, INAZUMA!!!" "AND THAT'S A LEVEL 5 PRISONER WHO DISAPPEARED!" Hannyabal barks orders with fury: "THE VICE WARDEN IS SERIOUS HERE!! TELL THEM TO HOLD OUT UNTIL SADI-CHAN AND THE DEMON BEAST GUARDS ARRIVE!! PUT THE LEVEL 6 GUARDS ON HIGH ALERT!! ACTIVATE THE TRAPS IN THE PASSAGE IMMEDIATELY. AT THIS RATE, THEY'LL RUN RIGHT INTO EACH OTHER!!! INFORM WARDEN MAGELLAN AND ALL THE FLOORS!! THAT'S ALL, HURRY!!!" Magellan glares ahead as a guard reports, "DOMINO AND WARDEN MAGELLAN ARE HEADING FOR LEVEL 6 NOW." Another blurts, "THEY WERE ALIVE!!I" while Hannyabal wonders, "COULD HE BE A FAKE!I"

Luffy sprints desperately through the prison corridors, shouting, "I'M COMING, ACE!!!" His feet pound the floor as he gasps, "MAKE IT IN TIME, PLEASE MAKE IT IN TIME!!!" Sweat flies from his face amid motion lines and "HAA... HAA..." breaths. A close-up shows a stern figure declaring, "YOU WILL NOW BE TRANSPORTED, PORTGAS D. ACE." Ace walks forward in chains through the massive Level 6 gates as the voice continues, "NOW THEN..." A sign marks "Level 6." The final spread reveals Ace's intense close-up, beads of sweat on his scarred face, declaring, "MARINFORD!!! TO THE EXECUTION SITE."
