800 LIES

The scene opens outside a large mansion. Klahadore sits on the ground, adjusting his glasses with a "SRET" sound. The young boys call out, "CAPTAIN.....!!". Usopp stands over him, enraged, as Klahadore says, "YOU SAID PIRATES ARE 'BRAVE WARRIORS OF THE SEA'? DON'T TWIST THE TRUTH... IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE THAT KIND OF SAVAGE BLOODLINE... THAT YOU LIKE TO LIE SO MUCH! AND USE VIOLENCE WHENEVER YOU ARE ENRAGED...". In the background, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Usopp's young crew (Ninjin, Piiman, Tamanegi) watch the confrontation unfold.

Klahadore says, "I BELIEVE YOU ONLY GET CLOSE TO OJOUSAMA FOR THE MONEY...". Usopp yells back, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!" Klahadore continues, "WHO CARES WHAT YOUR MOTIVE IS, THE FACT THAT YOUR FATHER IS A PIRATE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH REASON FOR ME TO KICK YOU OUT!" Usopp grabs Klahadore by the collar of his suit with a loud "GRAB!!" and shouts, "I DARE YOU TO SAY THAT AGAIN!". From a window above, Kaya looks down in distress, pleading, "USOPP-SAN, PLEASE STOP!!! PLEASE DONT USE VIOLENCE...!!!".

Kaya continues to defend Klahadore from the window, saying, "CLAHA-DOR.... ISN'T A BAD PERSON... HE'S JUST CONCERNED ABOUT ME... THAT'S WHY HE'S A LITTLE EXTREME...". Down below, Klahadore slaps Usopp's hand away with a sharp "SLAP!", breaking his grip. Klahadore yells angrily, "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! SAVAGES LIKE YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!". He glares at Usopp and adds, "I'LL LET YOU OFF THIS TIME, BUT I WARN YOU... DON'T COME HERE AGAIN!". Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and the kids watch the tense exchange.

Usopp turns his back and walks away, saying, "FINE... I UNDERSTAND... I'LL LEAVE EVEN WITHOUT YOU TELLING ME TO! I'LL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!". His young crew cries out, "CAPTAIN........!!". Kaya watches sadly, murmuring, "USOPP-SAN...". The kids turn their anger on Klahadore, yelling, "YOU BASTARD! CAPTAIN IS NOT THAT KIND OF PERSON! YEAH! STUPID! BAAAKA!! BAAAKA!!". Luffy joins in, yelling angrily, but Zoro knocks him on the head with a "KNOCK", asking, "WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING ALONG WITH THEM?". Klahadore glares menacingly at the group, shouting, "ALL OF YOU, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE NOW!". The kids run away screaming in terror, "YAAAAAA-AAAAAH!". Luffy struggles, yelling, "I'M GONNA KILL HIM!", while Zoro and Nami hold him back, saying, "HEY HEY!".

Inside the mansion, Kaya sits in her bed, hugging her knees and coughing, "COUGH COUGH...". A "KNOCK KNOCK..." is heard at the door. Klahadore enters the room carrying a tray of food, announcing, "OJOUSAMA, IT'S LUNCH TIME". Kaya turns away, refusing, "I DON'T WANT IT! I DON'T WANT TO EAT... IT DOESN'T TASTE GOOD!". Klahadore replies calmly, "DONT SAY THAT, THE CHEF IS GONNA GET MAD! HE TRIED HARD TO COME UP WITH SOME FOOD SUITED FOR YOUR HEALTH, OJOUSAMA".

Kaya looks upset and says to Klahadore, "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SAY IT LIKE THAT? I KNOW I KEPT IT FROM YOU, SECRETLY TALKING TO USOPP-SAN, IS MY FAULT... BUT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE CHASED HIM AWAY LIKE THAT...". Klahadore asks, "MAY I SIT?". Kaya replies, "PLEASE". Klahadore sits on a chair next to her bed and begins to speak softly, "I'VE BEEN IN THIS HOUSE......FOR THREE YEARS NOW. I CAN NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY...".

Klahadore recounts his past to Kaya. He explains, "THREE YEARS AGO, I WAS WORKING ON A SHIP, BECAUSE OF A SMALL MISTAKE, I WAS FIRED... AFTERWARDS, I GOT LOST WANDERING AND ENDED UP IN THIS VILLAGE". He continues, "I DIDN'T HAVE ANY MONEY, AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, BUT YOUR DAD TOOK ME IN... IF HE HADN'T DONE THAT, I WOULD BE DEAD NOW". Klahadore expresses his gratitude, "TO ME, YOUR LATE PARENTS WERE MY SAVIORS. AND YOU... ARE MY SAVIORS' DAUGHTER...". He lowers his head, adding, "I KNOW INTERFERING WITH YOU MAKING FRIENDS......IS NONE OF THIS LOWLY SERVANT'S BUSINESS...".

Klahadore continues his emotional manipulation, clutching his face in apparent distress. "BUT THAT USOPP GUY... HE HAS A BAD REPUTATION IN THE VILLAGE... IF... IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO YOU... I WOULD FEEL LIKE I HAD BETRAYED YOUR PARENTS!". Kaya listens silently. Klahadore asks, "I KNOW THAT WHAT I SAID BEFORE WAS A LITTLE EXTREME... DO YOU HATE ME BECAUSE OF IT?". Kaya reassures him, "....NO, I DONT HATE YOU... I SHOULD THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF ME, BUT YOU MISUNDERSTOOD HIM, USOPP-SAN IS NOT A BAD PERSON AT ALL!". Klahadore turns his back to her with a "SRET", coldly stating, "THAT DOESN'T MATTER". Kaya pleads, "YOU... WHY WONT YOU LISTEN TO MY EXPLANATION!?". Klahadore replies stubbornly, "SO WHAT IF I DON'T LISTEN!?".

Outside in the village, Zoro, Nami, Ninjin, and Piiman are sitting on a wooden fence. One of the kids asks, "WHERE'S LUFFY?". Another replies, "HE WENT CHASING THAT CAPTAIN! THE CAPTAIN MUST BE THERE! YES! AT THE SHORE. EVERYTIME SOMETHING HAPPENS, HE ALWAYS GOES THERE!". Zoro asks, "GOING TO CHECK IT OUT?". The kid answers, "NAH...". Nami asks, "HEY, WHERE'S YOUR OTHER BUDDY? OH! TAMANEGI, RIGHT?". The kids explain, "HE OFTEN SUDDENLY DISAPPEARS! YEAH! AND MAKES TONS OF NOISE WHEN HE SHOWS UP!".

Suddenly, Tamanegi comes sprinting towards them, crying and screaming, "WAAAAH WAAAAAH! THIS IS BAD! WAAAAAH WAAAAAH!". The others notice him, "AH! IT'S TAMANEGI!". Tamanegi stops, panting heavily, "BAD NEWS! HAAAH! HUF HUF! THERE'S A MAN THAT'S BACKWARDS!!". The other kids are confused, "THERE'S A WEIRD GUY, HE WALKS BACKWARDS!!! LIAR!". Tamanegi insists, "IT'S TRUE! LOOK!". He points down the road, where a tall, strange man in a dark coat and hat is indeed seen moonwalking backwards down the path.

The strange man, Jango, strikes a pose and says, "HEY! WHO SAID I'M A WEIRD GUY? I DON'T LOOK WEIRD AT ALL!". One of the kids retorts, "YES YOU ARE! ANY WAY I LOOK AT IT, YOU LOOK WEIRD!". Jango replies, "SHUT UP! I'M JUST A HYPNOTIST PASSING BY...". A text box introduces him as "HYPNOTIST JANGO". The kids are amazed, "HYPNOTIST? WOW! CAN YOU SHOW US YOUR SKILLS? YEAH! SHOW US!". Jango looks surprised, "WHAT?!".

Jango scoffs at the kids, "IDIOTS! YOU GUYS DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT A HYPNOTIST IS! THIS IS OUR FIRST MEETING, NO WAY I'M SHOWING YOU MY HYPNOTISM!". However, he immediately pulls out a pendulum ring on a string and says, "OK! YOU GUYS STARE AT THIS!". The kids sweatdrop, noting, "YOU'RE SHOWING THEM ANYWAY!". Jango swings the ring, instructing, "I'LL SAY 'ONE, TWO, JANGO' AND YOU WILL ALL FALL ASLEEP! LET'S START! OOONE.... TWO....... JANGO". Instantly, Jango himself falls backward, fast asleep, snoring "ZZZ... ZZZ...". The kids stare in disbelief, "HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING?".

At the shore, Usopp sits alone on the grassy cliff edge, looking out at the sea. Suddenly, Luffy drops down from the tree branches above with a "WAAH!" and lands next to him. Luffy grins, "HI! THERE YOU ARE!". Usopp is startled, "IT'S YOU! WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE NORMAL?!". Luffy looks at him and asks, "YOUR DAD... IS YASOPP, RIGHT?". Usopp's eyes widen in shock, "......... AH....!?".

Usopp asks in disbelief, "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?". Luffy smiles, "I'VE KNOWN HIM SINCE I WAS A KID!". Usopp is amazed, "REALLY? YOU KNOW MY DAD?". Luffy confirms, "YUP!". Usopp realizes, "YOU LOOK JUST LIKE HIM... NO WONDER I THOUGHT YOU LOOKED FAMILIAR... I JUST REALIZED THAT A MOMENT AGO. WHERE IS HE NOW?". Luffy replies, "DUNNO. BUT, I'M PRETTY SURE HE IS ON SHANKS THE RED-HAIRED'S SHIP! YASOPP IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PIRATES IN THAT CREW!". Usopp stammers, "RE... REALLY?".

Usopp is completely shocked by the revelation. "SO HE IS ON THAT RED-HAIRED... SHANKS' SHIP HUH? SHANKS THE RED-HAIRED!? WHY? YOU KNOW SHANKS?". Luffy nods, "OF COURSE! HE IS A GREAT PIRATE!". Usopp asks eagerly, "IS MY DAD REALLY ON THAT GREAT SHIP?". Luffy grins, "GREAT...? YEAH! HIS SHOOTING SKILL IS THE BEST, YASOPP NEVER MISSES ANYTHING WITHIN HIS RANGE". A flashback shows Yasopp shooting an apple with a loud "BANG!!". Young Luffy cheers, "WOW! AMAZING!". Yasopp boasts, "OF COURSE! EVEN IF IT'S BETWEEN THE EYES OF AN ANT, I CAN STILL SHOOT IT!".

The flashback continues with Yasopp drinking from a mug. He tells young Luffy, "LUFFY, I HAVE A SON... HE'S JUST ABOUT YOUR AGE...". Young Luffy complains, "I KNOW, YOU'VE TOLD ME A HUNDRED TIMES ALREADY!". Yasopp insists, "I'M GONNA TELL IT... SO YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES! AH! YES YES..!! I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF TO LEAVE HIM! THERE'S ONLY ONE REASON. BECAUSE THE PIRATE FLAG WAS CALLING ME!". Back in the present, Luffy laughs, "YASOPP WAS A REALLY POPULAR PIRATE!". Usopp smiles, touched, "IS THAT REALLY TRUE?".

Usopp confides in Luffy, "TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, EVEN THOUGH HE LEFT ME FOR THE SEA, I'M ALWAYS PROUD OF MY DAD! BUT THAT BASTARD CLAHADOR LOOKED DOWN ON HIM. HE LOOKED DOWN ON MY PRIDE!". Luffy agrees, "YUP! I DON'T LIKE HIM AT ALL! ARE YOU GIVING UP SEEING THAT OJOUSAMA?". Usopp replies, "DUNNO, MAYBE IF THAT BUTLER APOLOGIZES, AND BEGS ME, THEN I'LL CONSIDER!". Suddenly, Usopp notices someone down on the beach below the cliff. "THAT BUTLER? YEAH! THAT BUTLER... WHY IS HE HERE?".

Down on the beach, Klahadore and Jango are talking. Klahadore scolds Jango, "JANGO, I TOLD YOU NOT TO DRAW THE ATTENTION OF THE VILLAGERS, WHY DID YOU SLEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET?". Jango replies defensively, "........ HOW CAN I ATTRACT ANY ATTENTION? IT'S NOT LIKE I LOOK WEIRD OR SOMETHING!". Up on the cliff, Usopp whispers to Luffy, "THERE'S A WEIRD-LOOKING GUY WITH HIM... I'VE NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE, WHO IS HE?". Klahadore asks Jango, "SO... ARE YOU ALL PREPARED FOR IT?". Jango confirms, "OF COURSE! WE CAN START OPERATION 'ASSASSINATE OJOUSAMA' ANY TIME!". Overhearing this, Usopp and Luffy's faces contort in absolute shock and horror as they exclaim, "WHAT!!? ASSASSINATE!!?".
