The announcer, Itomimizu, rides his large bird, Chuchun, and speaks into a microphone to hype up the crowd. "AND NOW... WHAT WE ARE ALL WAITING FOR..." he begins. "THE WINNER WILL BE GREETED BY CELEBRATION AND THE LOOSER BY THE DEEP COLD SEA. IT'S THE DAVY BACK FIGHT! THE LOOSER WILL LOOSE A FRIEND!!! THE FIRST ROUND, DONUT RACE, IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!!!" The Foxy Pirates cheer wildly, shouting, "WUOOH NNN!!! PORCH-CHANNNN". A large starting gate marked "START" stands in the water. Behind it, the two competing boats are lined up. The Foxy Pirates' boat, the Cutie Wagon, is manned by Porche, Kapoti, and the shark Monda. The Straw Hat Pirates' boat, the Barrel Tiger, holds Nami, Robin, and Usopp. Itomimizu continues, "BOTH SIDES ARE WAITING BEHIND THE STARTING LINE." The Foxy Pirates taunt their opponents, yelling, "DROWN THAT FREAK WITH THE LONG NOSE, KAPOUTI!!!" Usopp angrily yells back, "OH SHUT UP!!!" Itomimizu adds, "BUT FIRST... THE OBJECTIVE:"

Itomimizu explains the rules of the Donut Race. "IT'S VERY SIMPLE. JUST GO AROUND THE ISLAND ONCE!!!" A map of Long Ring Long Land is displayed, showing a circular path around the ring-shaped island starting and ending at the "START AND GOAL" point. He adds a crucial detail: "OH. BY THE WAY... GUN, CANNON, SWORD... ANY WEAPON IS ALLOWED!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE A PIRATE!!!" The Foxy Pirates cheer enthusiastically, raising their weapons in the air. On the shore, Zoro questions the nature of the event, asking, "WHAT KIND OF A BOAT-RACE IS THIS?" Sanji furiously threatens Usopp, yelling, "I'M WARNING YOU, USOP! IF ANY OF THE LADIES GET HURT, I'LL SLICE YOU INTO PIECES AND FEED YOU TO THE FISHES!!" Luffy cheers them on, shouting, "DON'T LOOSE!! USOP! NAMI!! ROBIN!!" Chopper adds, "I'M SO EXCITED!!!"

Foxy and Hamburg laugh confidently on the shore. Foxy says, "HEHEHEHE. THOSE FOOLS. WE ALWAYS USE THE RULES TO OUR ADVANTAGE!! DO YOU THINK THAT THIS RACE WILL LAST MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES, HAMBOG?" Hamburg replies, "PFFF! NOPE!! FUFU!" On the Cutie Wagon, Porche is eager to begin, saying, "STOP TALKING AND START THE RACE ALREADY! WE'RE GOING TO WIN!!" Kapoti suggests a violent strategy, "SO WE CAN ALSO WIN IF WE DESTROY THE OPPONENT..." Porche replies, "UH... I'LL LEAVE THAT TO YOU." She then mocks the Straw Hats, "TSK-TSK-TSK. LOOK, THEY ARE BLUFFING ~~~" Kapoti agrees, "THEY CAN BLUFF ALL THEY WANT PORCH-CHAN. WE WILL SINK THEM IN THREE MINUTES. RIGHT, MOUNDA!?" Monda the shark replies, "SHARK!!" Itomimizu announces, "RACERS, CATCH!! USE THESE ETERNAL POSTS SO YOU DON'T GET LOST!!" He throws two eternal poses towards the boats. Nami looks confused, asking, "LOST?"

Porche catches her eternal pose with a "PAH". Nami also catches hers. Porche advises, "REMEMBER NOT TO GO TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE ISLAND. BE SAFE, AND... GOOD LUCK!" Nami questions the need for the pose, "LEAVE THE ISLAND? WHY WOULD WE DO THAT? THE SHORTEST PATH IS ALONG THE RIDGE!" Usopp warns her, "NO. IT WON'T BE THAT EASY." Nami insists, "EVERYONE, WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE ISLAND AS SOON AS THE RACE STARTS." Usopp asks, "WHY NOT?" Foxy raises a starting pistol and says with a sinister grin, "HEHEHE... WHY?" The Straw Hats on the shore cheer in anticipation. Foxy fires the gun, shouting, "READY~~~ NNN DONUT!!!"

The race begins with a massive explosion of water as the boats launch forward. Itomimizu announces, "THE TWO SHIPS CHARGE FORWARD SIMULTANEOUSLY!!! AT THE SAME TIME, THE FOXY PIRATES ENGAGE IN SUPPORT FIRE!!" The Foxy Pirates on the shore are firing cannons at the Straw Hats' boat, creating huge blasts in the water. The Cutie Wagon speeds ahead, pulled by Monda. Itomimizu continues, "THE BARREL TIGER GOT BLASTED AWAY AND THE CUTIE WAGON TAKES THE LEAD!!!" Porche cheers, "GO!! CHARGE, MOUNDA!!! YEE EHA!!!" Usopp and Nami scream in panic, "WUAH!!", as cannonballs explode around them.

Usopp frantically rows the Barrel Tiger, yelling, "T... TURN! TURN!!! WE'RE GOING TO OVERTURN!!!" Nami complains about the unfair tactics, "THEY ARE BREAKING THE RULE!! THE AUDIENCE SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ATTACK!!!" The Cutie Wagon sails smoothly ahead. Porche laughs, "AHAHAHA, EXCUSE ME. I'LL BE TAKING THE LEAD. DON'T SINK SO FAST THOUGH!! LET'S HAVE SOME FUN~~~~" The Barrel Tiger stabilizes, and Usopp sighs in relief, "PHEW! WE'RE SAFE." However, Nami warns, "NOT YET. SOMETHING IS FLYING OUR WAY." A massive boulder is hurled through the air towards them. Usopp yells in shock, "WHERE DID THAT BOULDER COME FROM!?" Foxy is seen laughing maliciously, "HEHE. SINK!!!!" Nami realizes, "IT MUST BE FROM THE AUDIENCE AGAIN!!"

The giant boulder crashes into the water right next to the Barrel Tiger, creating a huge splash. Usopp yells, "ROW FAST!!" Itomimizu announces over the microphone, "INTERRUPTION FROM THE AUDIENCE IS COMMONLY ACCEPTED IN A PIRATE-VS-PIRATE GAME." Usopp cries out in frustration, "I CAN'T ACCEPT THIS!!" Robin calmly notes, "IF THEIR FRIENDS CAN PROVIDE SUPPORT... SO CAN OURS." Nami looks surprised, "EH?" On the shore, Sanji is furious, violently kicking Foxy Pirates out of his way. He screams, "HOW DARE YOU MOTHER FUCKING SONS OF BITCHES DO THAT TO NAMI-CHAN AND ROBIN-CHAN, YOU ASSHOLES!!!!" The Foxy Pirates scream in terror, "WAAAH!!!"

Sanji delivers a powerful kick to a massive cannon, destroying it and sending the Foxy Pirates manning it flying. He yells, "YOU PUNKS!! I'M GOING TO DICE YOUR HEADS INTO FISH EGG SAUCE!!!" Usopp cheers from the boat, "SANJI!" Nami says, "GOOD! WE'RE CATCHING UP! THEY HAD A HEAD START, TOO. LET'S CUT THEM OFF ON THE NEXT TURN!" On the Cutie Wagon, Porche notices them gaining ground and says, "HOHO... KAPOUTI, SHOW THEM YOUR FISH-MEN KARATE!!" Kapoti agrees, "SURE THING!" He strikes the water with a powerful chop, yelling, "SEA SPLITTER!!!" A massive wave of water shoots towards the Barrel Tiger.

Kapoti's "SEA SPLITTER" wave hits the Barrel Tiger, breaking one of the seats. Usopp and Nami scream, "WAAAA AAAH!!" Usopp yells, "WE LOST A SEAT! WE NEED TO REBALANCE!!!" Kapoti laughs mockingly, "HEHEHE-HEH..." Usopp aims his slingshot and fires, shouting, "BASTARD, EAT THIS!! CERTAIN-DEATH FIRE STAR!!!" The projectile hits Kapoti but bounces off harmlessly with a "POHN!!". Kapoti mocks him, "USELESS!!" Usopp curses, "D... DAMN HIM...!!!" Robin crosses her arms and uses her Devil Fruit power, saying, "EIGHT-WHEEL FLEUR!!!" Multiple arms sprout from Kapoti's body, grabbing him. He yells in confusion, "WHAT'S THIS!? WAAAH"

Robin's sprouted hands forcefully flip Kapoti backward, causing the Cutie Wagon to capsize. Porche screams, "KAPOUTI!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" The Foxy Pirates on the shore are shocked. One yells, "LOOK! THAT MUST BE THE POWER OF A DEVIL FRUIT!!" Another says, "THAT BITCH! SHE'S A DEVIL FRUIT USER!" Nami cheers, "GOOD JOB!! NOW IS OUR CHANCE!! USOP! SWIM AND PULL THE SHIP ALONG!!" Usopp retorts angrily, "WHY DON'T YOU DO THAT!?" On the shore, Luffy cheers enthusiastically, "AWESOME!! KICK THEIR ASS!!" Sanji yells to the rest of the crew, "FOLLOW ME. GO! GO!!!"

Foxy and Hamburg watch the race from the shore. Foxy says, "HEHEHE... THOSE NEWBIES ARE GETTING BETTER AT THIS. COME, HAMBOG. LET'S SHOW OFF OUR TALENTS!" Hamburg replies, "YES, BOSS!" Itomimizu announces, "THE RACE JUST STARTED, AND IT'S ALREADY A MESS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE COURT!! BUT THAT'S WHAT THE DONUT RACE IS ALL ABOUT!! IN THE LEAD IS THE CUTIE WAGON AND THE BARREL TIGER IS RIGHT BEHIND IT! THE GAME HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN!!" Porche yells at her crew to recover, "KAPOUTI, MOUNDA, HUSTLE!!! ROW! ROW!!" On the Barrel Tiger, Nami holds up a dial and says, "LOOK! IT'S A BREEZE DIAL!! GOOD IDEA! USE IT. QUICK!!" Usopp activates it, but it only produces a small puff of air. Nami yells, "GET BACK TO ROWING, IDIOT!!" Usopp argues, "IT WORKED IN SKY ISLAND!! THERE'S NOT ENOUGH POWER WITH ONLY ONE DIAL OR SOMETHING... THEN USE JET DIAL!!" Nami replies, "WHERE WOULD I GET THAT!? IT'S EXTINCT! WE HAVE TO WIN SOMEHOW! ONE OF OUR LIVES IS AT STAKE!!!"

Nami continues her dramatic plea, "THAT'S TRUE. IF WE LOOSE... THEY WILL TAKE ME AWAY FOR SURE BECAUSE I AM TOO CUTE." Usopp yells back, "THEY WON'T WANT YOU. WE MUST NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!! GO BACK TO ROWING!" He then notices Robin reading a book and yells, "ROBIN!? WHY ARE YOU READING AND NOT ROWING!!" Robin replies calmly, "I AM ROWING." Usopp looks over the side and sees Robin's sprouted hands rowing with oars. He says, "I SEE YOUR OTHER HANDS ARE ROWING... YEAH. IF ROBIN HAD BEEN DOING THIS WE WOULDN'T BE BEHIND." Nami says, "I WILL TRY HARDER FROM NOW ON THEN!!" Usopp mutters, "HEH. THAT IS SOME HONESTY..." Nami asks, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, USOP?" Usopp is strapping a dial to his hand and says, "EXPERIMENT." On the Cutie Wagon, Porche laughs confidently, "AHAHAHAHA. AT THIS RATE... WE WILL WIN WITHOUT BREAKING A SWEAT. NOT BAD. HM... BUT I WANT TO RETURN THE HUMILIATION... TO THAT WOMAN. I WON'T BE SATISFIED WITH JUST WINNING."

Usopp aims his hand backward and activates the dial. A massive blast of energy shoots out, propelling the Barrel Tiger forward at incredible speed. Usopp screams from the recoil, "IYAAAH!!!" Porche and Kapoti look back in shock. Porche says, "HM? HUH?" Kapoti asks, "HOW!? HOW DID THEY GO SO FAST ALL OF A SUDDEN!!?" The Barrel Tiger shoots past them in a blur. The boat then comes to a sudden halt. Usopp groans, "BA ZI.... IT STOPPED."

Usopp is lying on his back in the boat, holding his injured arm and panting, "HEH... HEH... HEH... I ALMOST BROKE MY SHOULDER..." Nami says, "HEY, USOP. WHAT DID YOU DO? THAT WAS AMAZING. WE FLEW PASSED THEM!!" Usopp reveals the dial on his hand, "IMPACT DIAL!!" Nami is amazed, "ALL THAT POWER CAME FROM JUST ONE BLAST? THIS IS GREAT. EVEN THOUGH IT ONLY LAST A SHORT TIME. THE SPEED BOOST IS GREAT!" Porche yells to her crew, "MOUNDA, CHARGE!!!" Monda replies, "SHARK!!" Nami panics as she sees them approaching, "AH! GET BACK TO ROWING! THEY'RE CATCHING UP!"

The Cutie Wagon speeds past the Barrel Tiger. Porche says confidently, "I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DID THAT, BUT WE WILL NEVER LOOSE!!" Monda says, "SHARK!!" Nami complains, "THEY PASSED US! NOW WE HAVE TO PLAY CATCH UP AGAIN!! THAT WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!" Itomimizu announces, "THE UNDEFEATED CUTIE WAGON ACTUALLY LOST HER LEAD FOR A MOMENT!! IT SEEMS THAT THE BARREL TIGER HAS A SECRET WEAPON TO BOOST ITS SPEED!!! PORCH-CHAN LOST HER LEAD!? WHAT IS MOUNDA DOING!? THE RACE IS GETTING MORE AND MORE INTERESTING!! GO, PORCH!!!" Porche laughs, "HAHAHA. SO WHAT IF YOU WENT PASSED US FOR A SHORT MOMENT. IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!!" Suddenly, she looks back in shock, "WHAT THE!!? HOW'S THAT?" Robin has sprouted hands on the back of the Cutie Wagon, holding onto a rope attached to the Barrel Tiger, allowing them to be towed. Usopp cheers, "GREAT, ROBIN! THAT WILL SIMPLIFY THINGS!"

Robin's sprouted hands hold the rope tight, towing the Barrel Tiger behind the Cutie Wagon. Porche yells angrily, "YOU CHEAP BITCH!! LET GO!!" Robin says calmly, "OH NO. THEY FOUND OUT TOO FAST." Kapoti yells, "KAPOUTI!!" and chops at the sprouted hands. The Foxy Pirates on shore yell, "THAT BITCH!! DAMN HER!!" Usopp says, "USOP, IT SEEMS THAT... THE DIAL IS OUR ONLY WAY TO WIN THIS. TRY TO STORE UP ENERGY AND THEN USE IT AGAIN!" Nami replies cheerfully, "THAT'S OKAY. I DON'T MIND!" Usopp yells angrily, "AGAIN!? THAT BLAST EARLIER ALMOST COST ME MY PRECIOUS SHOULDER!!! SHUT UP! JUST BECAUSE IT'S MY SHOULDER... YOU ARE TOO CRUEL!!" Porche aims a weapon and says, "LET'S JUST SINK THEIR SHIP!! AAAAHN~~ NNN!!! WOW~~~!!!"

The boats approach a dense area of tall, thin coral formations rising from the water. Itomimizu announces, "THE MOST DIFFICULT CHALLENGES OF THE COURT ARE JUST AHEAD!! THE FIRST IS THE 'LONG CORAL' AREA. THEN IT'S THE TERRIFYING 'LONG WHIRLPOOL,' FOLLOWED BY THE 'LONG GAP'!! HOW WILL THESE TWO TEAMS CONQUER THE CHALLENGES!?" Nami points ahead and says, "THAT IS... HUH? THERE IS SOMEONE ON THE ISLAND!!!" Usopp and Robin look ahead in surprise, exclaiming, "AH!?" and "WOAH!!!"

Foxy is revealed standing on top of Hamburg, who is running rapidly along the island's shore. Itomimizu announces enthusiastically, "RIDING THE AMAZING RUNNER, HAMBOG, IT'S... THE GENIUS OF TRICKERY, THE NATURAL ENEMY OF RULES, IT'S OUR INFAMOUS BOSS! FOXY THE SILVER FOX!!!" The Foxy Pirates cheer wildly, "BOSS!!! OH! BOSS!! YEAH! WE'LL WIN FOR SURE NOW!! HM... OUR BOSS' FACE IS A LITTLE TWISTED. HE MUST BE THINKING ABOUT SOME VERY EVIL SCHEME!! WOW! NOW THAT IS A FACE OF PURE EVIL!! GO, BOSS!!!" Nami asks in disbelief, "HE'S THEIR CAPTAIN!?" Foxy has a sinister, exaggerated grin and says, "I JUST HAD... A VERY NAUGHTY IDEA!"
